Company presentation: 🚁 Ondas Holdings, Inc. - Autonomous Systems & Future of Infrastructure (Deep Dive)
Dear Community,
After $ONDS (+0,86%) joined our community project last Tuesday Tenbagger der Zukunft and is often used as discussion material in the community anyway, I would like to introduce the company to you below. I am gradually approaching the scope of a deep dive. :)
I look forward to your feedback!
__________________________
🏢 Short description
Ondas Holdings is a provider of autonomous drone and robotic systems (Ondas Autonomous Systems) and private wireless network solutions (Ondas Networks). The products (such as the Optimus or Iron Drone platforms) are primarily aimed at safety-critical areas, defense, rail transport and critical infrastructure. Most recently, the company has benefited massively from the global increase in demand for drone defense and autonomous surveillance systems.
_________________________

_________________________
📈 2. finances & company value (as of Q3 2025)
- Market capitalization: Approx. USD 5.1 bn.
- Revenue growth (YoY): +582 % (increase to USD 10.1 million in Q3).
- Explanation: The percentage increase in sales compared to the same quarter of the previous year. An indicator of extreme scaling.
- Net cash (net liquidity): USD 433.4 million (pro forma after capital increases up to USD 840.4 million).
- Explanation: Cash and cash equivalents less current liabilities. A buffer for acquisitions and operations.
- Orders on hand (backlog): USD 23.3 million.
- Explanation: The value of orders that have not yet been processed but are already fixed.
- Gross margin: 26 %.
- Explanation: Proportion of sales remaining after deduction of direct manufacturing costs (COGS).
- Operating margin (EBIT): -153 %.
- Explanation: Indicates operating profitability; shows the high level of investment in growth and development.
_________________________
📊 3. valuation ratios (Is the share expensive or cheap?)
- P/E ratio (price/earnings ratio): Negative / Not applicable.
- Explanation: Shows how many years it will take for the company to generate its market value as profit. As Ondas is still unprofitable (net loss in Q3: USD 7.5 million), there is no value here.
- P/S ratio (price/sales ratio): approx. 142.
- Explanation: puts the market capitalization (currently approx. USD 5.1 billion) in relation to annual sales (forecast for the full year 2025: at least USD 36 million). An extremely high value, which shows that the market is already pricing in massive future growth.
- EV/EBITDA & PEG ratio: Negative / Not applicable.
- Explanation: EV/EBITDA adjusts the valuation for debt/cash, the PEG ratio puts the P/E ratio in relation to earnings growth. As Ondas is still burning cash operationally, these metrics do not (yet) apply here.
_________________________
💰 4. profitability & margins (how efficient is the company?)
- Gross margin (gross margin): 26% (as at Q3 2025).
- Explanation: Shows how much of revenue is left over after deducting direct production costs (Q3: USD 2.6 million profit on USD 10.1 million revenue). Management is aiming for 50% in the long term.
- Operating margin (EBIT margin): Strongly negative (-153 % in Q3).
- Explanation: What is left after deducting all running costs? Ondas had an operating loss of USD 15.5 million in Q3. The massive growth causes high costs.
- ROIC (Return on Invested Capital) & FCF margin: Negative.
- Explanation: ROIC shows the return on invested capital, the FCF margin shows the percentage share of hard cash flow in sales. The company is in an extreme growth and investment phase and is still burning cash in its operations.
_________________________
🛡️ 5. Balance sheet quality & financial health (How secure is the company?)
- Net cash (net liquidity): Excellent. Cash balance of USD 433.4m (as of Q3 2025).
- Explanation: Does the company have more cash than debt? Yes! After further capital increases in October 2025, the pro forma cash balance was even a gigantic USD 840.4 million.
- Equity ratio & debt-to-equity (debt-to-equity ratio): Very much improved.
- Explanation: Shows the ratio of own funds to borrowed funds. Ondas raised around USD 855 million in 2025 by issuing new shares (equity) and simultaneously reducing convertible bonds. The balance sheet is now extremely solid.
- Current ratio: Extremely high.
- Explanation: Can current liabilities be covered by current assets (cash)? (Should be >1). Thanks to the massive cash injection, Ondas is completely on the safe side here.
_________________________
🚁 6. specific industry key figures (growth & order situation)
(As Ondas is not a cloud/SaaS provider, we look at industry metrics instead of "Rule of 40" or "NRR")
- Revenue growth (YoY): +582 % (Q3 2025).
- Explanation: The percentage growth compared to the same quarter last year. Sales exploded from USD 1.5 million to USD 10.1 million.
- Orders on hand (backlog): USD 23.3 million (as at Q3 2025).
- Explanation: The value of orders that have already been signed but not yet processed. A key indicator for predictable future sales (has more than doubled since the beginning of 2025).

⚔️ 7. Overview of competitors
The market for autonomous drones and security solutions is competitive. The most important competitors include:
- Skydio: A US leader in autonomous drones for inspections.
- AeroVironment $AVAV (-0,82%)
: Strong in the defense sector (switchblade drones). - Fortem Technologies: Specialized in drone defense (counter-UAS), similar to parts of the Ondas portfolio.
- Radio communications (networks): Here Ondas competes with industry giants such as Nokia
$NOKIA (-5,78%) or Ericsson $ERIC B (-0,49%) which also offer private LTE/5G networks for critical infrastructure.
_________________________
💡 8. unique selling propositions (USPs)
Why could Ondas have a "moat"?
1. Full-stack integration: While many competitors only provide the drone (hardware), Ondas offers a "Robot-as-a-Service" (RaaS) model. This includes the drone, the docking station, the analysis software package and the private wireless network.
2. FAA approvals: Ondas is one of the few companies to have received wide-ranging approvals from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for fully automated flight beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) - a crucial regulatory advantage.
3. Focus on "mission critical": Unlike hobby drones, Ondas systems are certified for permanent use in hazardous or highly sensitive industrial environments (e.g. chemical plants, railroad tracks).
4. Frequency expertise: Through the acquisition of Sentrycs and the experience at Ondas Networks, the company has deep expertise in proprietary radio communications, making the systems more tamper-proof.
_________________________
⚙️ 9. Opportunities and risks
🟢 Opportunities:
The addressable market for automated defense systems and infrastructure monitoring is growing rapidly. With over USD 800 million in cash and cash equivalents, Ondas now has the necessary "war chest" to quickly gain market share through acquisitions (e.g. Apeiro Motion, Sentrycs) and scaling. The sales target for 2026 is already an ambitious USD 110 million.
🔴 Risks:
The current market capitalization of over USD 5 billion is in extreme contrast to the actual turnover (KUV of >140). Perfect execution for the next few years is already priced in here. In addition, the massive capital increases have led to strong dilution for existing shareholders.

NVIDIA & Nokia: strategic game changer for AI networks
NVIDIA is investing $1 billion in Nokia, taking a ~2.9% stake. Together they are building AI-driven RAN and 6G networks, combining the power of NVIDIA's GPU supercomputers with Nokia's telecom infrastructure. This partnership could fundamentally change the way mobile networks are managed: self-learning networks that optimize data traffic, energy consumption and latency in real time.
For investors, this means that Nokia, once seen as a "classic telco supplier," will now be at the center of the AI infrastructure revolution. Although the revenue impact will not be seen until 2026, the partnership with the world's most powerful AI company could spark a new growth cycle. NVIDIA, meanwhile, is expanding its ecosystem of supercomputers in the U.S., further strengthening its position as the hub of the AI era. The market already reacted +20% to the news, but this could be only the beginning of a structural revaluation of the global telecom AI chain. $NVDA (+1,25%)

Duolingo falls another -8% today
$DUOL continues to plummet after the really good quarterly figures.
More and more critical voices and fears are coming to light that the company may be completely or largely replaced by already very advanced and sophisticated AI models.
Whether #duolingo the next $NOKIA (-5,78%) or $BB (-4,15%) of the 21st century?
What are your opinions? I actually couldn't find any headlines for today's #dip headlines for today. Does anyone know what!

Build robots, earn shovels
The hype is all about humanoid robots, but the constant winners are in the background.
I have divided the analysis into two perspectives. 1. the complete value chain of humanoid robots, which shows all the players from the chip to the finished robot, and 2. the blade manufacturers in the background, who always earn money as enablers, regardless of which manufacturer wins the race.
ASML, Applied Materials and Tokyo Electron dominate in manufacturing technology. Quality assurance comes from Keysight, Advantest and Teradyne. Chip design is supported by Synopsys, Cadence and ARM. Data streams are secured by Arista Networks, Cisco and Equinix. The computing basis is created in the cloud by Amazon, Microsoft and Alphabet. Albemarle, Lynas and Umicore play a central role in raw materials and battery materials. These companies monetize their customers' investment waves, have high barriers to entry, service revenues and pricing power, but remain cyclical with risks from export rules, capex cuts and currency movements.

First purchase in customs chaos
I can imagine that we could still have a few red days ahead of us, but $NOKIA (-5,78%) I have now added a few more. Before the chaos, things were on the up for a year, the order situation seems good and a few days ago Intel brought in a new CEO who wants to do even more in the data center sector. It all sounds exciting to me. The correction was less severe than for other stocks, but perhaps that's another point in the company's favor in these times.

Robinhood in the fast lane with expansion into Asia + Stabilus to pay lower dividend and sales could grow + JPMorgan raises Nokia to 'Overweight' - target up to EUR 6.05
- Analysts bullish after investor day at $HOOD (+0,21%)
After the investor day of Robinhood analysts are bullish for the broker. Robinhood (HOOD) has shot an arrow in the direction of investors - and hit it! At the company's investor day this week, CEO Vlad Tenev said that his clients are interested in sports betting. There is no concrete information yet, but the direction is clear: expansion; not only geographically, but also into new areas. The company recently successfully entered the UK market and is set to enter the Asian market next year. Goldman's strategists are now sniffing the morning air. In a recent press release, the bank explained that Robinhood has a "growing ...
- New buy signal for Stabilus $STM (-2,24%)?
Automotive supplier Stabilus aims to generate at least as much revenue in the 2024/25 fiscal year, which runs until the end of September, as in the previous year. The company is targeting sales of EUR 1.3 to 1.45 billion, Stabilus announced on Monday when presenting its final annual figures for 2023/24. Analysts already have the upper end of the range on their notes. This should leave 11 to 13 percent as operating profit (adjusted EBIT). In the worst case scenario, this would mean that the specialist for luggage compartment gas springs would be less profitable than in the past financial year with a margin of 12%. The Stabilus management intends to pay a dividend of EUR 1.15 per share for the past fiscal year. This compares to EUR 1.75 a year earlier. The company confirmed its key figures for 2023/24 from November, according to which earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) adjusted for special effects fell slightly year-on-year to EUR 157 million. Below the line, the Group generated a profit of 72 million euros - compared to 103 million euros a year ago. Thanks in part to the US acquisition of Destaco, a supplier of automation and clamping technology products, turnover increased by 7.5 percent to 1.31 billion euros.
- Nokia $NOKIA (-5,78%)back on track?
The US bank JPMorgan has upgraded Nokia from "Neutral" to "Overweight" and raised its target price from 4.00 to 6.05 euros. Analyst Sandeep Deshpande wrote in his outlook published on Monday that the earnings estimates for the network equipment provider are beatable, meaning that the share price, which has already performed well in 2024, should continue to rise in 2025. In the coming year, he is primarily counting on growth in the weak investments made by telecom companies in 2023 and 2024.

Delivery Hero: Talabat offer price at the upper end of the range + Telekom awards major contract to Nokia and Fujitsu
The food delivery service Delivery Hero $DHER (-2,46%) has set the offer price for the IPO of its lucrative Middle East subsidiary Talabat at the upper end of the range, as expected. The issue price is 1.60 dirhams (0.41 euros), the MDax-listed company announced in Berlin on Friday morning. A few days earlier, Delivery Hero had already increased the size of its offering due to strong investor demand. Overall, the competitor of Just Eat Takeaway expects the Talabat initial listing to generate gross proceeds of around 1.9 billion euros. The Talabat shares are to be traded on the Dubai Stock Exchange from December 10. In the long term, Delivery Hero intends to indirectly hold a majority stake in the business, which bundles activities in the United Arab Emirates, the Middle East and North Africa. According to earlier statements, the Berlin-based company wants to be represented on the Board of Directors with half of the members and consolidate Talabat in the consolidated financial statements even after the IPO. Talabat intends to pay its shareholders at least one dividend totaling 100 million US dollars for the current fourth quarter next April. For the full year 2025, no less than USD 400 million is then to be distributed. The dividends are then to be paid in two stages per year in October and the following April.
The Deutsche Telekom $DTE (-4,97%) wants to and must rely more heavily on Open RAN (Radio Access Network) in its mobile access network and has therefore acquired Nokia $NOKIA (-5,78%) and Fujitsu $FUJ a major contract for the conversion of over 3,000 antenna sites by 2027. This will also fulfill the German government's requirements for management systems.
