I used a portion of the profits from $AAOI (-2,85%) to establish an initial position in $CMG (+0%) . $AAOI (-2,85%) It has nearly doubled in just a few weeks and remains very volatile—yet my position remains relatively large because I’m convinced of the company’s long-term potential. $CMG (+0%) I’ve been keeping an eye on it for quite some time, and since I still had some cash and had taken partial profits, now seemed like a good time for me to reinvest those funds.

91CHIPOTLE 🌶️ SURPRISES — AND THE STOCK MARKET TAKES NOTICE AGAIN
While many restaurant chains are struggling with weak consumer sentiment, $Chico exactly what investors want to see:
growth.
Q2 2026 by the numbers:
- Revenue: $3.35 billion (+9.3%)
- Earnings per share: $0.33 (above expectations)
- Comparable restaurant sales: +2.2%
- 100 new restaurants in just one quarter
- Annual forecast raised
- $1.3 billion Share buyback program
Yes, rising costs for beef and labor are putting some pressure on margins. But this is exactly where quality sets itself apart from the average: Chipotle continues to grow, gain customers, and invest in its future all at the same time.
To me, this is no longer just an ordinary fast-food chain. It’s a premium company with an exceptionally strong brand, significant pricing power, and a management team that’s consistently focused on expansion.
Anyone looking to build long-term wealth should at least have such high-quality companies on their watchlist.
My opinion: It’s better to buy an outstanding company at a fair price than a mediocre company at a bargain price.

Chipotle is opening its first restaurant in Mexico
Chipotle is opening its first restaurant in Mexico in the Monterrey area. First foray under deal with Alsea. $CMG (+0%) +3.91%. #chipotle
Chipotle currently only knows one direction
Chipotle is an established name in the fast-casual sector in the USA. The concept of fast service and comparatively fresh ingredients is well received by many customers. In the long term, there is still plenty of potential for growth, especially in Europe, where Chipotle has hardly been represented to date.
Nevertheless, the share price has halved since its high of around USD 58 to around USD 29. The reason: the existing restaurants are currently hardly growing at all. In 2025, comparable sales fell, mainly because fewer customers came. At the same time, higher costs for food, logistics and staff weighed on profits.
In addition, the share was previously valued very expensively. When the management held out little prospect of growth for 2026, the stock market reacted accordingly. The valuation is now much more reasonable again.
The major European expansion will also be a long time coming. Chipotle is initially concentrating on further growth in the USA.
Conclusion: No great leaps are to be expected in the short term. However, anyone who believes in the business model in the long term will find a much more attractive entry opportunity after the share price fall than a few years ago.
The "Coke-Chipotle effect" - last chance at McDonald's? 🍔🥤
The consumer staples sector is on fire! Who is the next domino after$KO (-0,33%) and
$CMG (+0%)?
Hello everyone,
Anyone who has been watching the consumer staples sector over the last few days has seen a clear pattern: the big players are delivering a steady stream of earnings beats.
The starting position:
Both Coca-Cola and Chipotle (have massively exceeded expectations. What is particularly exciting is that the share prices not only jumped briefly after the figures, but are holding their level. Starbucks ($SBUX (+3,37%)
) and PepsiCo $PEP (-1,43%)
) have already underpinned the strength of the consumer.
The thesis:
If people continue to spend record amounts on burritos and soft drinks, then the probability is extremely high that the "top dog" of system catering will also have a positive surprise in its quiver. The market still seems to slightly underestimate the resilience of mass consumption.
The trade:
I am planning a sympathy play on McDonald $MCD (+1,34%)
ahead of their numbers on May 07.
- Why: $MCD
has performed rather moderately on "Coke Day" compared to $PEP or $SBUX. In my opinion, there is catch-up potential here (catch-up trade).
- Strategy: Buy a factor certificate (leverage 5x to 8x) to profit from a possible gap-up in the figures.
- Timeline: Entry planned for May 04 or 05 to take advantage of the "run-up" before the figures.
Risks: Of course, playing with leverage ahead of earnings is risky. If the guidance disappoints, even the best sector trend won't help. But after the presentations of $KO, $SBUX and $CMG, the risk/reward ratio (CRV) for the bull side is currently extremely tempting.
What do you think? Is there still room for upside or has the "consumer boom" after the Coke figures already been priced in?
prices!
If the low-price consumers rise - the economy is not doing well.

Trip to Miami, USA
Hi folks, I'm going on a trip to Miami in the USA this year. And before one or two people reach for their keyboards in anger: I initiated the trip a while ago under different global political conditions.
As I want to make the best of it, I would be interested to know if anyone has any ideas of what to see or do on site. Of course you are welcome to write me where I can get the best sandwich or whether the Ocean Drive is worthwhile. But I'm also interested in other things specific to the USA that you can take a look at - and because this isn't a travel portal - I'd also like to know which companies and products etc. you can take a look at that simply aren't available in this country.
I definitely have a visit to Walmart on my to-do list $WMT (+0,69%) and I'd like to take a look at the hyped Chipotle $CMG (+0%) to take a look. I would also like to try a robotaxi from $UBER (+2,27%) or Waymo $GOOGL (-0,14%)
$GOOG (-0,31%) book. I think it's really exciting to actually ride in one of these, which is simply computer-controlled, whereas here in Germany you're only driven around by Malte Sören on a cargo bike. Maybe I'll have a look at $CVS (+1,79%) take a look. As a German, it seems completely bizarre to be able to buy XXL packs of pills without a well-meaning pharmacist giving you a minute-long monologue about how dangerous medication is and that you should try taking it less stressfully first.
