11ITM Power Interim Results
09.07.2024 +++ Insurers with fewer claims than expected +++ Hydrogen shares with drop in sales for 2025 +++
The share prices of reinsurers Munich Re $MUV2 (-0.88%) (+3.0%) and Hannover Re $HNR1 (-1.66%) (+3.0%) recovered. They had recently suffered from speculation about losses following the early and severe start to the hurricane season.
In the MDAX K+S $SDF (-0.91%) fell by 5.8 percent. Bank of America downgraded the stock by two notches to underweight from buy. However, Stifel is also negative on the share and described it as the least favored in the sector.
The US bank JPMorgan has downgraded the shares of ITM Power $ITM (+0.55%) from "Overweight" to "Neutral" and gave them the cautionary stamp of "Negative Catalyst Watch". Analyst Patrick Jones thus pointed out the correction risks for hydrogen shares in the run-up to their financial results in mid-August on Monday evening. The expert fears that a disappointing sales forecast for 2025 will depress market expectations for the new and subsequent financial year.

Hello everyone,
Today I would like to introduce you to my portfolio. As you probably know, it's just too much fun to expand my portfolio with new stocks. There are now a few too many, but I still can't really part with my worst-performing stocks ($NVM (+0.19%) , $ENPH (+0.94%) , $WAC (+0.74%) ). I'm hoping that I'll be able to sell them in positive territory at some point, or am I on the wrong track and in your opinion should I sell at a loss and try to make up the loss with other stocks?
I have been investing since the end of 2022 and at 29 years old, I still have a long time to go. My strategy is to be as desertified as possible in sectors and to beat the market in the long term (just let me believe that it works :D), hence so many individual stocks. I want to hold these for many years (esp. $AMZN (+1.53%) , $GOOGL (+1.9%) , $QCOM (+1.01%) , $MSFT (-0.04%) , $V (-1.45%) , $MC (-2.64%) , $SALM (-1.7%) ) but I'm also not too keen to pocket the profits. Are there any stocks in my portfolio that you would view critically for the next few years and would be worth considering selling? Recession and all that...
Priority is on growth, which is reasonably safe, so only a few small caps - but a few bets have to be in there :) ($AIDX (-3.83%) , $NRX (+13.17%) , $ITM (+0.55%) , $F3C (-0.81%) , $MITK (-0.4%) ). But with rather small amounts, probably too small or what do you say?
At the same time, I would also like to claim a €900 allowance via dividends ( $BATS (+0.43%) , $ENB (-2.2%) , $BNPQY (+0.62%) , $STLAM (-2.52%) , $ENGI (+2.59%) , $RIO (+0.18%) ) and secure a trade or two.
Recently I have been investing 240€/m in the $XDWD (-0.55%) and between 200 - 500€/m in individual shares (depending on what is left). Actually, I want to increase the existing shares properly now, but somehow there are always nice entry options in solid companies like $0L2T (-0.27%) , $ZTS (-0.73%) , $ADM (-0.24%) , $PANW (-1.92%) , $ENR (+0.81%) . Help what to do? :D
And then there's also crypto $BTC (-0.58%)
$NEAR (-4.16%)
$ADA (-2.15%)
And Japan, they're doing well too $4063 (-0.88%) , $6501 (+4.85%) , $8001 (+0.07%)
Looking forward to your feedback and advice!
After the events of the last few months, hopefully the company will now be rebuilt and brought up to speed. However, in my opinion, it will take years. Nevertheless $ITM (+0.55%) in a growth macrt on the way...I hold out....

𝗢𝘅𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲 - The United Kingdom biotech company has announced it is seeking an IPO on the London Stock Exchange. The company is developing a portable DNA/RNA sequencer that makes it possible to analyze biological data in real time. Financial Times reports that the company could be valued at £4 billion at IPO. To date, Oxford Nanopore has received funding of more than £600 million.
𝗟𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘂𝗺 - The Munich-based flight cab start-up was able to raise significantly less capital than originally hoped during its IPO. The company's goal was to raise fresh capital and global attention through a Spac IPO. This type of IPO is designed to save time and money for the company in question by allowing it to be bought by a special purpose acquisition company (Spac). In this particular case, Lilium was to merge with New York-based shell company Quell. Quell shareholders voted in favor of the IPO on Friday. As part of that IPO, Quell shares were exchanged for Lilium shares. However, 65 percent of investors did not take this deal and instead returned their share certificates than exchanged them. This reduced the initially projected revenue from $830 million to $584 million. This also lowered the valuation of the company to 3 billion US dollars.

On the German stock market, the new week starts with high hopes for a coming recovery. After a comparatively weak year, German shareholders are hoping for an upturn. The DAX is up about 10% since the beginning of the year. By contrast, its French counterpart, the CAC 40, has grown twice as fast. This is primarily characterized by luxury stocks, such as LVMH, which have recently been able to shine with strong price gains. The new upswing in the DAX is now expected to come primarily from the 10 new stocks included in the DAX. These should help the DAX to be more diversified and to represent the German economy even better. This should also make events on the German stock exchange more fast-moving.
Alibaba ($AHLA (-3.54%)) - The power of the Chinese government on the economy continues to stretch. The Financhial Times reports that the credit business of Ant Group's payment service Alipay, which is a subsidiary of Alibaba, is to be broken up and outsourced to a partially nationalized joint venture. In addition, Ant is also slated to share user data, which can then be used by authorities to conduct credit checks. Globally, Alipay has about one billion users. In China, the company has a market share of over 50%. 40% of Alipay's revenue is generated from the credit business.

Cardano ($ADA-USD (-2.15%)) - Yesterday, the world's third largest cryptocurrency received arguably the most significant update since its creation. This update is expected to usher in a new era where smart contract applications are possible on the Cardano network. According to BTC-Echo, this represents a milestone for Cardano and it could also mark a significant turning point for the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) world, which to date is still mainly dominated by the Ethereum network ($ETH-USD (-1.36%)) dominates. The Cardano ecosystem currently consists of about 150 different projects, all running on the newly deployed network and originating from Cardano's "Catalyst" funding program.
