After seeing the latest news I don't know if I should take more ADA to add to the portfolio. I had already taken 160 in 2021 but they quickly dropped and now they are below as an investment But I heard that this year ADA could reach $5 or even more, does it make sense to spend another 100/200€?

271Make clever use of your tax refund: What would you do with EUR 1,613?
Yesterday I set myself the challenge of completing my tax return using the Taxfix tax software and submitting it to the tax office on the same day. The expected result was EUR 1,613.00. To be honest, I had expected a higher refund in tax year 2024 due to the high tuition fees of around EUR 4,240 and other factors. But as is so often the case in life, the tax office and the tax return surprise us in an amusing way. :-)
Imagine you receive an additional capital inflow of EUR 1,613.00 - how would you use this amount? Would you invest in new shares, build on your existing positions, invest in ETFs, go for precious metals or plunge into the world of cryptocurrencies? I look forward to hearing your ideas and personal experiences on this scenario!
Out of pure interest in an exchange of opinions: If you can take a look at my current portfolio, which positions would you consider worth buying in the event of a similar influx of capital? I am also happy to receive the odd humorous comment ;-)

CURRENT MARKET / SPECULATION
The crypto market is currently volatile, with slight downward movements in the leading cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin ($BTC (+0.76%) ) is currently trading at USD 104,880, down 2.26% on the previous day.
Ethereum ($ETH (+4.5%) ) is trading at USD 3,320.90, down a minimal 0.43%.
$BNB (+3.8%) remains almost stable at USD 690.28.
$XRP (+0.54%) and $ADA (+1.97%) also show slight losses, while $DOGE (+2.92%) remains almost unchanged at USD 0.373198.
$SOL (+2.8%) and $AVAX (+2.37%) are down 4.68% and 2.53% respectively. Litecoin ($LTC ) and Polkadot ($DOT (+0.77%) ), on the other hand, show minimal changes.
Despite these short-term fluctuations, the long-term trend remains positive. Experts such as Matt Hougan from Bitwise Asset Management emphasize that fundamental factors such as institutional acceptance and technological innovations are supporting the multi-year bull market.
One should keep an eye on the volatility of the market and adjust investment decisions accordingly.
Do crypto savings plans still make sense?
Does it still make sense to run my current savings plans in $BTC (+0.76%)
$ETH (+4.5%)
$SOL (+2.8%)
$XRP (+0.54%)
$ADA (+1.97%) or only in $BTC (+0.76%) to run?
Kind regards, Timur.
A simple Bitcoin savings plan will bring you the most joy in the long term :)
Crypto platforms: What do you use?
Hello everyone,
I'm still fairly new to cryptocurrencies and would like to slowly get to grips with them. At the moment I would like to focus primarily on $BTC (+0.76%) but I am also interested in other currencies in the long term. A long time ago, I used a Binance account to $ADA (+1.97%) to buy. Now I'm wondering whether Binance is still a good choice or whether there are now better alternatives.
In the long term, I plan to buy a cold wallet, but it's not yet worth it due to my limited investment options. (Please let me know which providers you prefer here too).
Which platforms do you use to buy and why? What would you recommend to a beginner who is particularly interested in Bitcoin? Many thanks in advance and I look forward to your tips!
K.I.S.S.
Keep it simple, stupid !!!
it will be further simplified in the depot.
I have another part of my $ADA (+1.97%) stock for $BTC (+0.76%) (200 $ADA (+1.97%) )
I may leave some returns here in the near future, but in 2025 I want to concentrate on keeping it as simple as possible. (Except for the odd gamble perhaps 😅)
Bitcoin seems to me to be the "safer" option here. I think Cardano will also do well in the long term, but I don't want to have to hope that it continues to do so well...
on top of that, I didn't like my own balancing between ADA and BTC !!! Too much ADA not enough bitcoin.
Since things have gone better here than with BTC in recent weeks and months, I have sold another tranche and am holding the rest while we wait for Trump's inauguration and a possible breakout to the upside !!! 🚀🚀
I hope @Testo-Investor approved this message and decision even if it wasn't a $KAS (+1.42%) purchase...and if not, the links at least provide engagement to the post 😘
another holiday tomorrow... again nothing to do with the stock market. But more action on cryptos and maybe another day to simplify the portfolio !!!
Buy Cardano, yes or no?
Hey everyone,
I'm not quite in the crypto game yet, but I wanted to find out what it's like with a short-term buy-in. What indicators do I need to look at the most and what possible cryptos are out there at the moment.

Jahresrückblick 202blob:https://app.getquin.com/7e5b940d-2aac-4861-9d7f-2e64265314e94
A lot happened in 2024, we had the European Football Championship in our own country, Olympic Games at our neighbors, P-Diddy was arrested, Trump was re-elected (Putin too, by the way)
But
,
we are here at GetQuin, so it's about finance.
S&P500 and MSCI World have performed hugely, BTC has reached new ATHs and suddenly everyone is talking about cryptos again. The community here on GQ has also reached some milestones!
I always like to read along and get motivated by your milestones!
What has happened and changed for me?
I've increased my savings rate and always diligently put aside surpluses (tracked by Finanzguru).
Of course, I also spent and consumed a lot (see post on Finanzguru Wrapped)
- I now ride a gravel bike and the bike + equipment + clothes was quite a lot of money
- There were also vacations, here I would like to warmly recommend Scotland to you all, great landscape and incredibly nice people.
Savings at TR were 2024: 13.568,87€ --- 1130,74€ per month
- Savings plans
- nest egg
- Watch purchase (still to come)
- Daily allowance
The total portfolio value at TR went from ~11.119€ to ~27.911€ (+16.792€)
I have "changed" my strategy to the extent that I save stump $IWDA (-1.03%) and occasionally invest in individual stocks or crypto with "fun money" when the price is right.
I have also tidied up my portfolio and removed positions. Only $COIN (-7.3%) has remained as a reminder not to do anything stupid and to think before you trade (bought IPO hype and was up 15 days in total)
I also want to take long-term profits with my cryptos and shift into $BTC (+0.76%) (I still have a larger position here $ADA (+1.97%) position that is not included in GQ).
So all in all, I am satisfied with 2024 and motivated to save even more in 2025!
Savings rates will be adjusted and $IWDA (-1.03%) and I am slowly noticing the compound interest effect (a 1-3% fluctuation in the portfolio suddenly makes more of a difference than last year)
How was your year? What has changed for you and how have you adjusted your outlook for 2025?
Feel free to write your opinions below. Have I forgotten anything or is there anything else that interests you?
Happy New Year to you all.
Kisses,
Larry

With the nice belated Black Friday sale, I just had to go to $LINK (+2.25%) , $ADA (+1.97%) and $DOT (+0.77%) and . Are you also stocking up a little?
