Morningstar has published a list of shares that, in the opinion of the analyst firm, are currently underperforming. WELT took a look at the list and selected ten candidates where the share price is in the best relation to the intrinsic value of the company as attested by the analysts.
Morningstar calculated the so-called price-to-fair-value ratio for the ranking. If this is 1, this means that the price appears fair to the analysts, i.e. intrinsic value and market value do not deviate from each other. We therefore looked for stocks with a figure as low as possible below 1, because then the supposed fair value is significantly higher than the price performance of recent months.
The price-to-fair-value ratio looks best for the sporting goods manufacturer Under Armour
$UA (+0%) looks best. According to Morningstar, the value is just 0.4, meaning that analysts would consider the fair value to be 60 percent above the current share price.
The second share to watch, according to the Morningstar experts, is that of Bath & Body Works, $BBWI (-1.06%) an American perfumery chain. The price-to-fair-value ratio here is 0.42. Also from the consumer goods sector are the soup manufacturer Campbell's
$CPB (-1.7%) and ketchup group Kraft Heinz $KHC (-1.72%)which have values of 0.44 and 0.46 respectively.
The used car dealer CarMax
$KMX (-2.91%) also at 0.46, followed by AmeriCold $COLD (+0%)a specialist for cold stores. Both companies have a Morningstar score of 0.51.
Also Healthpeak Properties $PEAK (-2.61%)a real estate company specializing in retirement homes and other healthcare facilities, is also on the list. According to Morningstar, the price-to-fair-value ratio here is 0.61.
Two more well-known and larger names are also listed: The cable network operator Comcast
$CMCSA (+0.82%) has a value of 0.68, the confectionery giant Mondelez
$MDLZ (-0.96%) is also considered undervalued by Morningstar with a ratio of 0.75. The last and tenth stock on the list is the financial services provider Broadridge Financial Solutions
$B1RF34 with a price-to-fair-value ratio of 0.77.

Quarterly figures & forecast
Adidas Originals has a real trump card up its sleeve. Here you can constantly draw on history and sell old things to young people as hip.
The Samba shoe was my absolute favorite in my youth and now young people are wearing it again.
No big development costs and so you can sell a cheap shoe with a high margin.
It is similar with the textiles - the logo with the three leaves stands for noble and high quality, which of course improves the margins.
For me personally, the revival of old was a smart move.
And it always reminds you of your youth.
