169AI bubble or just a hype stock bubble?
For some time now, there have been repeated calls for the supposed AI bubble to burst at some point. However, no one can say exactly when it was a bubble and whether it will burst at all or whether it will just be corrected.
But isn't it possible that we only have a bubble in the area of hype stocks and that it is just about to burst? The best example is probably $DRO (+22.54%) .
But also $QBTS (-3.15%) , $RKLB (-0.27%) or $HIMS (-1.1%) continue to fall. Any reflective person can imagine what will happen to shares if the broad market corrects more strongly.
Not to forget $MSTR (-2.33%) or $3350 (+0.49%) . Of course, the $BTC (-1.49%) also plays a role.
As so often in a bubble, some have made a lot of money, but the majority are sitting on heavy losses. That's the problem when greed eats your brain 😕
That was the beginning of the internet, and perhaps the beginning of digitalization.
Many companies began, sometimes without capital or substance. Sometimes even in garages and basements.
Many companies generated no profits, and some even no turnover.
But every investor wanted to be involved. And multiples, such as high valuations, were ignored.
After all, these were only available from trade journals.
Today, quality companies have cash flow. Thanks to the Internet, we have completely different ways of analyzing companies and accessing multiples.
This gives us the opportunity to pick out companies with substance.
I therefore only see a bubble in companies without substance.
Will this be another penny stock?
It looks very much as though the very popular $DRO (+22.54%) will soon return to the level it was at before the hype.
Today, too, another surprising personal matter was announced, causing further uncertainty and a massive sell-off.
Droneshield shares lost 20 percent on Wednesday and the former defense high-flyer has lost 70 percent since its record high. A controversial personnel matter is making the mood among investors even worse. If the crash continues: How much further can the share go?
US CEO Matt McCrann has surprisingly announced his resignation. He will be leaving the company with immediate effect. McCrann, who had been with Droneshield since 2019, thanked the company on LinkedIn. He now wants to spend time with his family, after which he will be open to new projects.
The response from the company was lukewarm. The press release is five lines long, CEO Oleg Vornik thanks McCrann and wishes him all the best. What remains is guesswork. And if there's one thing the stock market hates, it's exactly that.
It is the next strange incident at Droneshield within a few weeks. Vornik and two other managers recently sold their entire share packages. In addition, the company had to retract an announcement that referred to contracts worth 7.6 million Australian dollars (4.2 million euros). It later became clear that these were already known contracts.
Droneshield was a big hit on the stock market for months - the share gave AKTIONÄR readers a 360 percent gain before it was stopped out. The company manufactures devices that use jammers to take drones out of the sky. These products, also known as jammers, are used in Ukraine and other countries.
Vornik has so far been a great communicator. The CEO hardly missed an opportunity to rave about the potential of the jammers and Droneshield's expertise. The company's investor presentations were always impressive. This makes his non-communication all the more unsettling for the stock market.
"Vornik's silence is a betrayal of retail investors, who rightly wonder what the company's top management knows that they don't," writes Louie Douvis, editor of Australia's leading business magazine Financial Review. "As concerns grow among potential buyers about the sustainability of Droneshield's technological edge, as Financial Review reported on Wednesday? Does Vornik continue to believe, as he told investors in October, that Droneshield's sales could reach $1 billion within five years?"
Vornik will read Douvis' report. He will realize that investors want answers - fast. He can't take his time until the fourth quarter figures in January.
US boss flees!
$DRO (+22.54%) probably has considerable management problems.
I am considering selling the share completely for the time being.

Critical Infrastructure continues to expand its network
$CTTT (+7.4%) has announced an NDA with AQURA. The next step after the agreement with Siemens Government Technologies. Of course, an NDA is patient paper at first. But it shows that the strategy is being actively worked on around the Nexus platform. Also with $DRO (+22.54%) there is already a cooperation.
I would say it's good to wait until the platform is ready in December and then see how sales go. I definitely have this title on my watch list for 2026. I'm curious to see what else is coming.
After the slump in November, do they seem fairly valued to me with enough upside potential? Or what does the community say?
Recoated
Finally bought one of the shares that had been on my watch list for a long time. Sold the fractional share of $MC (-0.81%) sold.
Emotions with hype stocks
Now is the time when you realize exactly who should stay away from individual stocks and limit themselves to an ETF. I always wonder whether people think such hype stocks as $IREN (-2.47%) , $HIMS (-1.1%) or $DRO (+22.54%) can only go up. Funnily enough, nothing has happened yet and emotions are already boiling over. I'd rather not imagine what would happen here if we were to see a correction for years. 😕
Gambled away with Droneshield
I must have made a big gamble with my optimistic 5k bet at $DRO (+22.54%) .
When I saw this today, I started to catch my breath.
Well, out with a 70% loss or hope?
3rd part GQ favorites
Phew, an exciting week is coming to an end.
After $NU (-0.09%) initially fell to 13.3 euros. Pulled my limit. Now 9 values?
No 🙂↔️
But more on this later
$TTEK (+0%)
$TTI (-0.38%) barely moved this week 27.7 to 28.8
$WM (-0.6%) similar from 171 to 178
$RKLB (-0.27%) with 20 % here is already risky range 40 - 51.5
$IREN (-2.47%) followed with 25% 68 to 46 and
$SOFI (-1.33%) from 22 to 28 even with 30%
Not for the faint-hearted and light sleepers.
BUT after
$DRO (+22.54%) has been falling for 2 weeks -30% and
$INT (+0%) as reported here -40% in one day.
Both stopped
Thus from originally 9 only 7 VALUES.
