21Portfolio Update
Update May 2026
At the end of the game I liquidated $ENI (+3,46%) and in these 2 months I made €186 gross from it, almost a 10%, for me it was the first time I "traded" going to take advantage of the news to predict the market trend, I got some things wrong but I understood others, the news is all too unpredictable so if you want to make a short duration buy, better not to be greedy, in the end it's all extra money that you basically didn't plan to get, so it's all gained, in the first Eni trade I told myself to come out with a +10% but when I got to that percentage I wanted more and ended up selling for less (a 5-6% gain).
After the first sale of Eni I had placed in the portfolio $STLAM (-2,76%) e $NWL (+0,51%) , after the second trade of Eni I brokered Newlat (which is actually called Newprinces now) which had fallen in the meantime and added $BMPS (-2,23%) .
For the month of May, on the other hand, my new entry was . $TRN (+3,07%) , I had been watching it since the beginning of the year and I always put off buying it and ended up watching a continuously rising price, so what to do? Nothing, I made my first entry and if it goes down there is no problem, in fact maybe, you go and buy again, welcome Terna.
What movements did you guys make in May?
Little Rotation🙂
In light of escalating Iran tensions, I've rebalanced the portfolio by trimming a small Eni (ENI.MI) position, selling off Salesforce (CRM) and Nike (NKE) - those growth bets just weren't delivering. Instead, I've boosted exposure to Energy Fuels (UUUU) for the uranium play, Leonardo DRS (DRS) riding defense tailwinds, the STOXX Europe 600 ETF for broader European exposure, and Intesa Sanpaolo (ISP.MI) banking on higher rates. Eyes on energy resilience and Euro financials amid geopolitical volatility. Happy investing - may your rotations capture the alpha!

It's back to buying
Hi, for this month given the situation in the Middle East I thought to make a short entry in the oil&gas sector, and so on 03/16/26 I bought $ENI (+3,46%) , I don't intend to hold it for long, also because as you can see I bought it at too high a price, I decided to enter anyway since as long as the tension is high then the stock will have good support with the barrel now at almost $120, the current idea is to get to March 23, withdraw the dividend and sell taking home a 5-7% and then liquidate 90/95% of the position and move to a stock that has suffered from the outbreak of war.
This was the first time when emotionality played a decisive role in this purchase; in the next post I will discuss the reason for this late entry.
How did you guys go about this month? What did you sell or buy?

Mid September update
Hi everyone,
As i've started to do since the opening of my portfolio (in may) here there is a mid month update. ( Note: i'm a beginner with not much money so i appreciate every advice).
As always i'm slowly increasing the capital invested, modifying the amounts following the markets trends. This month the focus was on $KO (-1,83%) as it is still going downwards as so i looked at it as an opportunity to buy. Compared to previous updates i also have increased the relevance of $ENI (+3,46%) .
As an investor on Trade Republic i've seen the introduction of the private markets but i'm still not convinced, what's your take on that?
That's all for now, any advices?
ENI S.p.A.
Eni, based in Rome, is a major global energy company active in oil & gas, LNG, refining, chemicals, and renewable energy. In 2024 it generated about €88 billion in revenue and has a market capitalization near €44 billion (2025). The company is accelerating its transition toward renewables and low-carbon technologies, while maintaining strong oil & gas operations and expanding in LNG and carbon capture.
With its mix of traditional energy and growing green business units, is Eni an attractive investment right now?
A nearly one year review
Hi everyone!
I’ve been building this portfolio for almost a year now, following a long-term growth approach rather than chasing short-term explosive gains. So far, it’s up +5.30%. I’ve focused more on the italian and american markets with stoks such as $ISP (-1,4%)
$KO (-1,83%)
$BRK.B (-0,19%) that make more than half my portfolio. What do you think about my strategy and approach?
$VOW3 (-0,31%)
$PLTR (-1,24%)
$FCT (+0,42%)
$LDO (+2,4%)
$RHM (+2,1%)
$INTC (-2,38%)
$CPR (+0,85%)
$AXP (-1,46%)
$BMPS (-2,23%)
$FBK (-1,61%)

$GS (-2,5%)
$MCD (-1,76%)
$SL (-0,9%)
$ENI (+3,46%)
$BBAI (-2,36%)
$PRY (-3,18%)
Otherwise I've noticed a lot of interesting stocks and also a small exposure on cryptos, I haven't ventured into them yet but a small percentage on the portfolio I would share.

Energy and dividends
As an Italian investor focused on dividends, I cannot ignore companies listed on the Italian stock exchange, traditional sectors that tend to have low growth but also good dividends, in this post, however, I want to cover $ENI (+3,46%) .
From the 2008 crisis to the COVID crisis the stock has graphically held a certain stability hovering between €17-18 and €14, and in general in the sector it is difficult to have great performance so it is also important when you buy, in a post it is more difficult to go into more detail, question for those who are interested in dividends and in general in the energy sector, how to judge the company? What entry price would you hypothetically give yourself? I told myself at the beginning of the year that under 13€ I would buy, and so I did, I bought at 12.75€, although we are talking about insignificant amounts.
Just buy a vanguard high yield dividend ETF and at least get some decent growth alongside your dividends.
