At 63, I continue to invest in stocks and future technologies. However, my portfolio looks slightly different today than it did a few months ago, as my need for security has increased.

Erratic U.S. politics, a steadily rising national debt, and increasing geopolitical tensions have changed the landscape for me. The stock market feels less predictable. Political decisions can shake up entire industries within a matter of hours. I’ve responded to this by safety net.

My portfolio now consists of three segments with clearly distinct roles:

The CORE 🥑 63.7% (higher security)

Nearly 64% of my portfolio now makes up the stable core. This includes the VanEck Morningstar Developed Markets Dividend Leaders, the Vanguard FTSE All-World (Dist), the iShares STOXX Global Select Dividend 100, and EUWAX Gold II.

The global equity ETFs provide diversification and regular distributions. Gold complements the Core as an additional hedge. Dividends continue to play an important role for me, accounting for 63%. I want to build up a growing supplemental pension over the coming years while maintaining a core that is as stable as possible.

SATELLITE 1 🛰️ 23.7% (medium risk)

This is where I invest in opportunities with moderate risk. These include established companies such as NVIDIA, TSMC, Apple, and UniCredit. I’ve also added my NGT anchor stocks, such as Lam Research $LRCX (+1,88%) , ATI $ATI (-0,12%) , and GE Vernova $GEV (+1,3%) , two thematic ETFs for quantum computing $QNTM (+1,25%) and biotechnology $GNOM , as well as the wikifolio “Silent Winners” $STWINNER (+0,57%). NGT stands for Next-Gen Technologies.

This segment is intended to create additional return opportunities while offering greater stability than my smaller NGT companies. The NGT anchor holdings, in particular, play a key role here. They allow me to maintain targeted exposure to structural technological bottlenecks through companies whose business models are already significantly more established.

SATELLITE 2 🚀 12.6% (lower risk)

This segment can be significantly more speculative. It consists exclusively of my NGT Steady Scouts (e.g., $BE) (-1,28%) and Rocket Scouts (e.g., $RKLB) (+1,14%). The Steady Scouts currently account for 10.8% of my total portfolio. The significantly more speculative Rocket Scouts account for just 1.8%. This ensures that this portion remains large enough to make a noticeable contribution in the event of successful investments. At the same time, its impact on my total assets remains limited.

NGT remains ♟️

My conviction in NGT and the DIBS strategy has not fundamentally changed. I continue to invest in technological bottlenecks related to AI infrastructure, photonics, energy supply, advanced packaging, defense, space, and other future-oriented fields. What has changed is their role in my overall portfolio.

The NGT holdings are now spread across two risk levels. The established “Anchors” are in Satellite 1 with moderate certainty. “Steady Scouts” and “Rocket Scouts” make up the smaller, more speculative Satellite 2 segment. Overall, my direct NGT exposure now accounts for less than a quarter of my portfolio.

AUTOMATION ⚙️

My cash flow system also remains in place. Dividends are automatically reinvested. Savings plans continue to run. In the event of exceptionally high price gains, my fixed rules for taking profits kick in. Capital that becomes available can then flow back into the more stable segments of my portfolio.

This is how my safety net continues to evolve alongside my life and the broader economic conditions. At 63, I want to continue participating in the technologies of tomorrow. And I’d like to be able to sleep a little better 😴 while doing so.

After a long time of active trading and many reallocations, I would like to share my current portfolio transparently with you and deliberately collect feedback / discussions from the community :) (so ready for a qualified roast)

I originally come from the "active" corner with many certificates, warrants and tactical trades - some very successful, some with total losses. Over time, I've realized that although you can land some strong individual hits, the long-term capital allocation and structure of the portfolio is ultimately decisive.

I am therefore currently trying to realign my portfolio:

On the one hand, to continue to take advantage of opportunities for above-average returns, but on the other hand to finally build up a stable ETF/fund base.

My basic assumptions about the market at the moment:

• Many large tech stocks still look ambitiously valued or overheated to me
• In the medium term, I expect rotation rather than a linear "everything continues to rise" trend

That's why my portfolio currently looks a little unusual:

• large positions as a basis in AI & biotech funds, which currently have paused savings plans (due to overheating) ($KJGJC0 (+1,16%) & $DWWD (-0,03%) )
• plus turnaround bets such as Nike or Pernod Ricard (many repeat purchases, now a bit of a stomach ache) ($NKE (+0,16%) / $RI (+0,21%) )
• Macro/future themes such as copper, rare earths or quantum computing (under construction) ($ARU (-1,23%) , $COPA (+1,36%) , $QNTM (+1,25%) , $WSML (+0,38%) )
• and occasionally leveraged products and software stocks ($MSFT (+0,31%) , $SAP (+0,54%) , $NOW (-0,02%) , $MC (-0,02%) ,...)

My goal now is to build up the whole thing in a cleaner and more structured way and finally set my sights on the 100k.

I have about €2,000 per month available to invest and would like to use it to

• build up a strong ETF/fund base
• but at the same time consciously make individual high-conviction bets
• and significantly scale my portfolio in the long term

What suggestions / recommendations do you have for me with regard to further ETFs or individual positions?

I am also happy to receive critical feedback or counterarguments to my theses. That's exactly why I'm sharing the portfolio here 🙂

Or what do you think?

Hello together

I have been a silent reader so far, but now I would like to tell you about my find / my investment in $QNTM (+1,25%) report.

In my opinion, this is the first (recently launched) reasonable quant ETF and I will now be investing in it regularly.

Here are some key data:

$QNTM (+1,25%) - IE0007Y8Y157

%0.55 TER

21.05.2025 listed

Includes $IONQ (+1,61%)
$QBTS (+1,53%) and $RGTI (+1,5%)

Accumulating with quarterly rebalancing

Fund highlights

• Early, diversified access to a potentially disruptive technology
• Investment in companies advancing the research, development and application of quantum computing
• Inclusion of both emerging innovators and established technology leaders with extensive patent holdings in the field of quantum computing

I think this ETF offers me (and maybe you too? 😊) the chance to get in on the quantum computing action early with a little diversification and a reduction in volatility.

What are your thoughts on this?

Best regards

RAGEmond
