Or what do you think?

The topic was recently discussed intensively in the community. There will also be a lot in these ETFs that will not make it to the end. Anyone interested in investing here should rather look for two or three individual stocks that are active in this area.

$IBM is also heavily invested in it

Me too, if only 2-3 of the positions in the ETF "make it", then the performance will also be good. I prefer this to betting on 2-3 individual stocks.

Quantum also runs with machine learning, or am I wrong?

Maybe, but it would be too risky for me with all the startups in the ETF. I would rather go with the S&P, since big companies like Alphabet, Microsoft and Cloudflare are also researching it.

I also see a lot of potential in the quantum computing sector. The ETF is in an exciting position with representatives such as Rigetti Computing, D-Wave Quantum and IonQ. The topic is still in its infancy, but a lot could emerge in the long term. I am also invested.

Buying "the next big thing" in the middle of the hype has never been the best idea. It's better to wait until the next "winter" and then pick up the strongest stocks.

@Epi Hype? When quantum computers arrive, it will be like the X86 or the iPhone. The computing power will be 10,000 times higher than what we know today.

@stock_whiz_reiner Maybe, but LLMs simply don't do certain things. My hopes are pinned on other architectures. In my opinion, we still need an AI winter before they become established.
