$SIKA (+0,58%)

Sika reported excellent first-half 2026 results this Tuesday morning, sending its stock up sharply in premarket trading (+5.3%):

• Organic Return to Growth: Following weaker quarters, Sika posted growth of 4.0% in the first half of the year (organically +2.9%). In Q2 alone, organic growth picked up strongly to +5.7% —a major turning point!

• Exceeded expectations: Despite strong headwinds from the Swiss franc and total revenue of 5.59 billion Swiss francs, profit figures remained stable thanks to strict cost management (EBITDA at 1.06 billion Swiss francs, with a robust margin of 19.0%). Net income came in at 552.1 million Swiss francs. This beat all analyst estimates.

• Forecast Revision: Management is looking ahead with optimism and is raising the revenue forecast for the full year 2026 . Currency-adjusted growth of 3 to 6% (previously 1 to 4%).

After the dry spell since the beginning of the year, the construction chemicals giant today delivered strong figures for the first quarter of 2026 and set a clear exclamation mark:

• Expectations exceeded: While the market expected a decline, Sika achieved sales growth of +0,9 % in local currencies (consensus was -0.7 %).

• Organically stable: Despite the difficult environment (weakness in China, geopolitics), organic growth of -0,2 % well above the feared -1.8%. Excluding the Chinese construction business, growth was even +1 % in the plus.

• Outlook confirmed: Management remains optimistic and confirms the targets for 2026 (1-4% sales growth, EBITDA margin 19.5-20%). The "Fast Forward" savings program is running according to plan.

• Analyst response: The major banks (UBS, Vontobel, Berenberg) are sticking to their buy recommendations with price targets of up to 220-226 CHF. The average price target is around 21 % above the current level.

Hello everyone

How are you all doing? I hope you are well! 😃

I'd be interested to know which stocks are currently on your watchlist?

I currently have the following stocks on my watchlist:

Financials:

$SOFI (-6,34%) (I think they would be a good addition to Visa in my portfolio. Thanks for your analysis @Klein-Anleger)

Industrials:

$SIE (-0,64%), $SU (-1,48%) & $SIKA (+0,58%) (I am still looking for 1-2 stocks in the industrial sector. Siemens looks quite interesting at the moment).

Consumer:

$MC (+0,32%), $OR (+0,95%), $CDI (+0,86%) & $RMS (+0,39%) (A consumer share is actually still missing in my portfolio. But I don't think it's a good idea to buy something now under duress).

Other interesting companies/ ETFs:

I would also like to have a commodity ETF (silver, uranium & rare earths) and an EM ETF in my portfolio. $NFLX (+0,49%) is also very interesting.

Most recently I have $BV0Z6G (-2,26%) and 250 $SHEL (+1,16%) shares. $NOVO B (+0,42%) I bought more at a bad time, but will remain invested and buy more if necessary. At $IREN (-12,97%) I bought 100 more shares today.

I wish you all a successful day!

Best regards

Chris

The online custody account transfer to 212 is in progress and will be available soon. Of course, transferring from 212 already works now.

212 is also tax-simple and everything has worked quite well so far. I treated myself to a €100 exemption there at the beginning of the year, which didn't really make sense as I actually filled it up quickly at Volksbank. But I wanted to see if the calculations and deductions worked so far.

And for the dividend fans among you, the dividends arrive on time on payday in 99% of cases.

Of course I would be grateful if you are interested in switching, please use my link and get free shares up to 100€

Finally, my current best pie I would not have expected 5 months ago that it outperforms my other pie's 😉

$O (+0,57%)
$MAIN (-0,05%)
$LHA (-2,04%)
$RIO (-1,43%)
$LUG (-4,39%)
$BNP (-1,43%)
$BP. (+1,03%)
$KO (+2,23%)
$SIKA (+0,58%)
$MO (+2,02%)

I have now also managed to update my good old tables and complete the year 2025. Small depot turbo at the end of the year and the first week 26 was already great again.

I would say that everything is still going in the right direction. What is striking is that dividends now make up a really big slice of the cake. My US dividends have overtaken the CHF dividends. In a total of 26 years on the stock market, around €100k gross has been added in dividends alone 🤓

I already stopped my savings plan at the end of 25 $SPY (-0,78%) and for the time being am only saving in selected US individual stocks and the $VHYL (+0,06%) . Currently running

$V (-1,09%)
$UPS (+1,15%)
$EIX (+0,5%)
$AXP (-0,56%)
$CMCSA (+0,88%)

in savings plans. Individual purchases depending on the situation, currently e.g.

$KHC (+1,55%)
$GIS (+0,49%)
$PG (+2,51%)
$MO (+2,02%)
$VZ (+2,23%)

New in the Swiss portfolio is $BCHN (-0,95%)
$VZN (-0,71%) and $SIKA (+0,58%) in it. $NESN (+2,21%) I will probably buy more in the short term.

The euro portfolio currently remains as it is, the euros are invested in ETFs.

$XD5E (-0,37%)
$VAPX (-2,14%)
$VFEM (-0,61%)

I will try to increase my cash holdings again. The target for 26 has also been set, to increase total assets to 820Tsd. That would be another +16%, which is exactly my average for the last 21 years.

So here's to another one, keep going!
