Here it is at last—this month's biggest dividend payout has come in and was deposited directly into $4GLD (-0,51%) and $VFEM (+0,31%) .

Right now, all my dividend income is going toward a passive savings plan in gold and emerging markets. For a long time, I ignored emerging markets and gold, but now they’re set to become part of my portfolio.

However, since prices have risen quite a bit, I’m holding back on larger one-time payments for now and am simply reinvesting using Trading 212’s Pie system.

What a wild year so far, one record after another, so it's time for an update and a rough overview of the portfolio.

First of all, some rough facts:

- just under a year ago I was able to report a portfolio balance of 600k euros, now it's already just under 700k ... that's crazy

- I currently have total gains of over 300k (current performance, dividends, sales)

- my total historical gross dividend will crack the 100k mark this year

The portfolio balance is of course only a snapshot and I am therefore particularly pleased about the dividend development. At the end of this year it will be well over 20k. So far, so good ... what do the details say?

Changes in the portfolio:

Ok, what has happened in the portfolio since the beginning of the year?

I have sorted out some low performers, including $MMM (+1,52%)
$COK (+0,22%)
$LAND (+1,54%)

My $INTC (-2,84%) I also sold my position completely in 3 steps, after the last purchases around 20$ this is currently too much euphoria and above all a crazy valuation. $ROP (+0,32%) I have reduced my position a little, which is only possible after a holding period of 4 years, simply to spread it a little more widely. I will also do that from time to time.

The money freed up by the sales has not yet been completely reinvested, but the majority of it has. With $EIX (+1,01%) and $BKW (+0,12%) I have built up a separate energy share and that $DTE (+1,32%) is now also in the portfolio - I'm in. My $XDJP (-0,6%) ETF is doing splendidly and my $XD5E (+0,01%)
$VFEM (+0,31%) and $VAPX (-1,68%) ETFs are doing well and will be expanded further. Otherwise, a lot has flowed into existing candidates (e.g. $ABBV (+3,08%) or $PG) (+1,71%)many US stocks have been increased and $BRK.B (+2,07%) bought a little more. The CHF portfolio was increased by $ZURN (-0,29%) , $SLHN (+0,2%) , $VZN (+1,11%) and the $PGHN (+0,11%) and $BCHN (+0,58%) I have increased my purchases.

Oh and yes, the chip shop $NOVO B (-0,22%) still seems to be alive :-)

My savings plans are continuing as usual, regardless of the current mood. The aim remains to build up a decent passive income with dividends in the long term.

I would say it's going well 🤓

I have now also managed to update my good old tables and complete the year 2025. Small depot turbo at the end of the year and the first week 26 was already great again.

I would say that everything is still going in the right direction. What is striking is that dividends now make up a really big slice of the cake. My US dividends have overtaken the CHF dividends. In a total of 26 years on the stock market, around €100k gross has been added in dividends alone 🤓

I already stopped my savings plan at the end of 25 $SPY (+0,41%) and for the time being am only saving in selected US individual stocks and the $VHYL (+0,52%) . Currently running

$V (+1,87%)
$UPS (+0,22%)
$EIX (+1,01%)
$AXP (+3,7%)
$CMCSA (-0,12%)

in savings plans. Individual purchases depending on the situation, currently e.g.

$KHC (+1,46%)
$GIS (+0,73%)
$PG (+1,71%)
$MO (-0,02%)
$VZ (+1,73%)

New in the Swiss portfolio is $BCHN (+0,58%)
$VZN (+1,11%) and $SIKA (+0,15%) in it. $NESN (+0,24%) I will probably buy more in the short term.

The euro portfolio currently remains as it is, the euros are invested in ETFs.

$XD5E (+0,01%)
$VAPX (-1,68%)
$VFEM (+0,31%)

I will try to increase my cash holdings again. The target for 26 has also been set, to increase total assets to 820Tsd. That would be another +16%, which is exactly my average for the last 21 years.

So here's to another one, keep going!

Hello everyone,

after almost 1 1/2 years as a silent partner on gq, I have decided to have my portfolio taken apart 😋

A few words about me and then about my portfolio.

I am 31 years old, live with my girlfriend and our 4-month-old son in the heart of Bavaria in our small home.

My girlfriend and I both work as employees in an automobile company. (She is currently on parental leave, of course)

About my portfolio.

I started my investment career with physical precious metals and shortly afterwards with cryptos.

When it came to cryptos, I got carried away by friends, I didn't know my way around them back then (I probably wouldn't take such a risk today). Fortunately, this turned out to be a good thing in hindsight.

A good three years ago, I added the first of what are now three portfolios with different strategies.

Depot (presumably for retirement)

$IWDA (+0,39%) / $MEUD (+0,34%) / $CSPX (+0,35%) / $EXS1 (+0,42%) / $EIMI (-0,36%) / $WSML (+0,22%)

2.dividend deposit (for cash flow as a reward on the joint account)

$HMWO (+0,39%) / $ISPA (+0,41%) / $TDIV (+0,63%) / $VFEM (+0,31%)

3.JuniorDepot

$VHYG (+0,58%) / $VWRL (+0,3%) as an accumulator.

Both ETFs are being saved in because the grandparents are financing one of them and I would like to keep them separate and not open an extra custody account.

All custody accounts are saved monthly.

So much for me and my portolio.

I would be very happy to receive any criticism, suggestions for improvement or similar and wish everyone happy holidays ✌🏻

My wife has been saving stupidly for a long time. $VWRL (+0,3%)

As the USA and tech share is very high there, we would now like to add 1-2 more ETFs to balance out the portfolio somewhat.

I was thinking of an emerging market ETF and a dividend ETF in order to be broadly diversified across everything.

More specifically, I was thinking of the emerging markets from $VFEM (+0,31%) in particular.

With the dividend ETF, I'm still wavering between the $TDIV (+0,63%) or $ZPRG (+0,52%) .

Your opinion or addition to the ETF?

Vanguard has announced that it will reduce the costs (TER) for 7 ETFs from October 7, 2025. This is an advantage for us and especially for long-term investors.

Which ETFs are affected? 📌

Vanguard FTSE All World UCITS ETF ($VWRL (+0,3%) ) 0,22 % → 0,19 %

Vanguard FTSE North America UCITS ETF ($VNRT (+0,38%) ) 0,10 % → 0,08 %

Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets UCITS ETF ($VFEM (+0,31%) ) 0,22 % → 0,17 %

Vanguard ESG Emerging Markets All Cap UCITS ETF ($V3AA (+0,1%) ) 0,24 % → 0,19 %

Vanguard FTSE Japan UCITS ETF ($VJPN (+0,05%) ) 0,15 % → 0,10 %

Vanguard FTSE Japan UCITS ETF ($VJPE (+0,05%) ) 0,20 % → 0,15 %

Vanguard Germany All Cap UCITS ETF ($VGER (+0,42%) ) 0,10 % → 0,07 %

And on top of that, there was also a nice dividend today on the ($VWRL (+0,3%)) 🤩

Brief update: My portfolio has cracked the 50,000 mark and I'm really pleased with its performance. In terms of the capital invested, I'm up around 16% with the price gains, and a good CHF 600 in dividends have already been received since the start. This results in a total return of around CHF 7.5k after costs.

$VWRL (+0,3%) delivers a solid plus, $VFEM (+0,31%) has achieved double-digit growth and $BTC (-0,58%) was recently the strongest driver with a significant premium. This is exactly how it should continue, even though I am aware that it could wobble again at any time.

The dividend target of CHF 500/year has been achieved and should increase somewhat over the course of the year. I am pleased with the interim result and will continue as before.

Greetings superhero

Hello lovelies!

I've been reading here for a long time now and have given it a lot of thought!

I started "investing" in mid-November (I just bought something or listened to someone who posted something somewhere). So by my standards, I've paid quite a bit of learning money.

Then I started paying into individual shares and ETFs with savings plans, which was only partially thought through.

Now I've got rid of pretty much everything and have drawn up a very detailed plan with goals, milestones and when to pay in what.

Individual items, such as $MO (-0,02%) , $O (+1,2%) and $ATO (+2,1%) I still have in my portfolio, but I will part with them at a time that suits me.

I am now 21 years old and will start studying dual tax law in September.

This will earn me some money and I still have a part-time job.

My plan is to invest €500 a month in a savings plan.

iShares Core MSCI World (Acc)$IWDA (+0,39%)

170€

Nasdaq 100 Covered Call (Dist)$QYLE (+0,69%)

85 €

S&P Global Dividend Aristocrats (Dist)$ZPRG (+0,52%)

80 €

Vanguard FTSE All-World High Div (Dist)$VHYL (+0,52%)

65 €

iShares Nasdaq 100 (Acc)$CSNDX (-0,16%)

50 €

FTSE Emerging Markets (Dist)$VFEM (+0,31%)

50 €

As my salary will increase over the course of my studies and afterwards, I would like to increase my monthly savings installment by €50 each year. In addition, there will be an extra €2000 minimum per year and larger payments in individual years, such as my savings account in 2037, which will then be finished.

I also considered ETFs. I now have a mixture of distributing and accumulating. I am well aware that it would be better to only save in accumulating ETFs. However, I think it's more motivating and easier for me to receive the dividends and to realize that something is happening and I'm getting something. I will reinvest the dividends. I just don't know exactly how yet.

I'm currently considering whether I want to invest some of it or additionally in $BTC (-0,58%) preferably with a savings plan (or maybe another platform where it's really Bitcoin).

If I do everything exactly as planned and achieve an average annual return of 7%, I will theoretically be able to live with 45/50 of it. According to my plan now, I would like to start shifting to purely distributing at 40/45 and save a little more depending on my life situation.

This would cap my pension and I would have something I could pass on to my children to give them some security.

You never know what life will bring. Maybe I'll manage to save more sooner or have setbacks and not make it according to plan, but I've made the plan with savings rates... rather pessimistic and hope that I can exceed my annual goals.

I look forward to hearing what you think about this.
