Mid September update

Hi everyone,

As i've started to do since the opening of my portfolio (in may) here there is a mid month update. ( Note: i'm a beginner with not much money so i appreciate every advice).

As always i'm slowly increasing the capital invested, modifying the amounts following the markets trends. This month the focus was on $KO (+0,48 %) as it is still going downwards as so i looked at it as an opportunity to buy. Compared to previous updates i also have increased the relevance of $ENI (+0,21 %) .

As an investor on Trade Republic i've seen the introduction of the private markets but i'm still not convinced, what's your take on that?

Coca-Cola very good, for Eni on the other hand what is your reasoning for wanting to increase it? Because the timing is not the best as Opec is going to increase production, so oil company margins will be affected, for me it's a hold, nice dividend though so enjoy it.

A nearly one year review

Hi everyone!

I’ve been building this portfolio for almost a year now, following a long-term growth approach rather than chasing short-term explosive gains. So far, it’s up +5.30%. I’ve focused more on the italian and american markets with stoks such as $ISP (-0,04 %)

Portfolio as interesting as it is peculiar, having intesa as the main share is not exactly a move I agree with but I understand that high dividends attract. If I were you I would increase the weighting of etf over individual stocks so that you have a steady growth and not too volatile (which is exactly what I am trying to do as well).
Otherwise I've noticed a lot of interesting stocks and also a small exposure on cryptos, I haven't ventured into them yet but a small percentage on the portfolio I would share.

The link is about derivatives on the oil price. But I see another good trading opportunity. Because contrary to the assumption in the article that they want to hit countries like Kazakhstan and Iran, I see a completely different target. That is the US fracking industry. The USA is now the largest single producer in the world due to the immense investments in this sector. 13.5 million barrels per day. This is a thorn in OPEC's side, as it jeopardizes OPEC's supremacy. So they are trying to use the oversupply to push prices so low that the business is not worthwhile for the fracking companies. Donald Trump is satisfied with expensive Arab investments in other areas and has long since deviated from his drill baby drill actions. He knows full well that US citizens are more enthusiastic about falling energy prices, regardless of what causes them. It could therefore be interesting to bet on falling prices for US fracking companies.
Yesterday, OPEC announced a further increase in production quotas of over 400,000 barrels/day from July 1.

Es una cartera pequeña, pero me parece muy buena la selección de valores. Hay unos cuantos como $A3M que me he subido hoy mismo porque realmente encaja perfectamente para mi estrategia de dividendos, pero hay otros que los voy siguiendo también como $IG que realmente está en subida libre.
Es curioso porque son valores relativamente poco seguidos o que no se discuten tanto, pero que tienen muy buen desempeño. En general sigo también bastante los valores italianos porque están teniendo mucha mejor evolución que otros mercados. Es cierto que estoy mucho en la banca italiana por la rentabilidad de dividendos, pero estoy viendo otros sectores con mucho empuje ahora dentro del FTSE Mibtel como aseguradoras y energéticas.

Energy and dividends

As an Italian investor focused on dividends, I cannot ignore companies listed on the Italian stock exchange, traditional sectors that tend to have low growth but also good dividends, in this post, however, I want to cover $ENI (+0,21 %) .

From the 2008 crisis to the COVID crisis the stock has graphically held a certain stability hovering between €17-18 and €14, and in general in the sector it is difficult to have great performance so it is also important when you buy, in a post it is more difficult to go into more detail, question for those who are interested in dividends and in general in the energy sector, how to judge the company? What entry price would you hypothetically give yourself? I told myself at the beginning of the year that under 13€ I would buy, and so I did, I bought at 12.75€, although we are talking about insignificant amounts.

The stock has been on a steady downtrend since 2007 and the dividends don’t make up that…
Just buy a vanguard high yield dividend ETF and at least get some decent growth alongside your dividends.

Oil reserves confirmed

$ENI (+0,21 %) Eni officially confirmed the discovery in the Capricornus-1X well in the Orange Basin offshore Namibia on April 25, 2025. A production test on this well showed a surface-limited production rate of over 11,000 barrels per day (stock tank barrels per day, stb/d) using a 40/64-inch choke. The oil produced is light (API grade 37°) with low levels of associated gas and CO₂

My wife has also just confirmed an oil deposit in the kitchen - an olive oil deposit.

Moved my stock market in a similar way. 🤷

The merry month of May ....

Almost three-quarters of all DAX and MDAX companies pay out dividends in May.

Dividend calendar with payday and expected yield:

This year's dividend champion is likely to be $RTLL (-2,89 %) - RTL Group. Shareholders can expect a yield of around 8%. However, this is only half as high as three years ago.

Deutsche Telekom is now increasingly seen as a dividend pearl. $DTE (+0,05 %) - Deutsche Telekom is increasingly seen as a dividend pearl. This year's dividend is EUR 0.90, i.e. an increase of 17% on the previous year, with a yield of around 2.7%.

Other reliable payers are $SIE (-0,51 %) - Siemens and $SAP (-0,6 %) - SAP.

One of the most reliable payers of all is $MUV2 (-0,61 %) - Munich Re. There has never been a dividend shortfall since 1960 and the amount paid per share has increased sixteen-fold since the beginning of the millennium.

There are also some attractive dividend payers in Europe, such as $ENI (+0,21 %) - ENI and $ISP (-0,04 %) - Intensa and $BNP (+1,35 %) - BNP.

Where exactly did you find the picture? The source is certainly indicated, but unfortunately I didn't find it there. Personally, I think this overview is very good.
