That's an interesting topic—it reminds me a bit of the era of pirated copies in the early 2000s. It doesn't just affect $ADBE (+2,7%) ; the gaming industry is also currently grappling with this issue.

IREN Becomes an Official Sponsor of Real Madrid
Real Madrid has $IREN (-6,57%) announced as its new official sponsor. For IREN, this is the second major sports sponsorship deal of the year, following its partnership with the Golden State Warriors in June. The club describes the partnership as an alliance between two organizations committed to community, innovation, and technological progress. The announcement does not provide details on the duration, sponsorship category, or financial terms.
IREN provides GPU computing power for AI and is thus a pure-play B2B business. Its customers are AI labs and corporations, not soccer fans. Real Madrid already lists several tech partners on its partner page, including $HPQ (-0,83%), $CSCO (-2,11%) and $ADBE (+2,7%).
What does this sponsorship mean for IREN?
Even with the Warriors deal, IREN’s goal was visibility far beyond the industry, especially in the Bay Area, where the company serves several customers. In Europe, IREN entered the market in May with the acquisition of the Spanish Nostrum Group, thereby expanding its capacity to approximately 490 MW of secured grid capacity in Spain. According to IREN, its expansion in Europe is scheduled to begin in 2028. Against this backdrop, the Real Madrid deal could be a first step toward raising brand awareness there as well.
In my view, IREN is focused on brand awareness beyond the stock market and crypto bubbles. Overall, the deal’s valuation depends on how large the amount is relative to IREN’s marketing budget. It could also be a small deal.

Software is ready
Greetings!
This morning, I had a long conversation with my IT colleague about the latest developments in the world of AI. What I learned really impressed me.
During our conversation, we got to talking about reverse engineering. Reverse engineering means recreating something as faithfully as possible based on the information available about it.
“OpenAI’s GPT-6 Astra achieves an 88.0% success rate on the SRE benchmark on the first attempt and 99.2% within four attempts. The benchmark tests how well an AI can analyze compiled programs without source code through reverse engineering, as well as understand and explain their core logic.”
What does this mean for the software industry?
Definitely nothing good. There’s already a clone of the Adobe Suite and also of Sony’s PS5. I’ll definitely be digging deeper into these topics over the next few weeks. It’s really completely crazy.
See -> ArtCraft (Adobe Suite clone)
See -> GitHub project AnyPS5 (PS5 clone)
What do you think about this?
Have a great start to the new week!
Best regards,
Chris

I believe that standalone tools without significant integration with mission-critical software are headed for extinction.
But if software is “sticky,” it has a ticket to a bright future.
You discover the true use cases for efficiency and automation by observing people and agents at work.
Wherever “well-trodden paths”—shortcuts in the daily work routine—appear, that’s where you can build the tools and automation of the future. The major software companies are once again sending their developers out to their customers’ production facilities and other locations. Just as software experienced its breakthrough 30 years ago, the software of tomorrow is being written all over again—only this time with the most powerful AI support.
Edit: This is called “forward-deployed engineering.”

Because they're guessing Pi🤷♂️
I wanted to check in with the community to see what you think about something like https://getartcraft.com/?
Someone has developed one using #ai / #claude Adobe $ADBE (+2,7%) .
Aside from that, more and more games—from Sony, for example $6758 (+0,38%) and others are being ported to PC.
Have a great Friday, everyone 🎩👌

If Sony does it itself, it doesn’t really matter. But if others do it, you could end up spending a very long time in prison. Even knowingly using stolen intellectual property can get you into trouble. The legal teams of the major gaming companies are relatively ruthless, and it’s also likely that laws will be tightened even further. I think the companies that own the IP will continue to be successful. With Adobe, it’s a completely different story. There’s no IP there—just a tool whose functionality anyone is free to copy. Since Adobe has tried to monopolize the market in recent years and has raised prices enormously, such copies are hardly surprising. I think there will be major changes there. Companies like Salesforce could also be affected.

Adobe Reports Strong Results
$ADBE (+2,7%)
reported strong results last night after the U.S. stock market closed and exceeded expectations for both revenue and profit, though the outlook for the upcoming quarter slightly disappointed investors.
📈 1. Key Operational Highlights
The financial results show a solid foundation for the software giant.
Total revenue climbed to a a new record of $6.76 billion.
Annual recurring revenue (ARR) rose to a total of $27.5 billion.
In particular, the key metric for AI monetization (AI-first ARR) impressed with a jump to over $650 million.
In addition, Adobe announced a announced a major leadership change: Longtime CEO Shantanu Narayen will hand over the reins to Anil Chakravarthy on December 1 and join the board of directors.
⚠️ 2. Why the stock still came under pressure
Although Adobe beat expectations and slightly raised its full-year forecast, the market reacted negatively.
The outlook for the crucial fourth quarter is for revenue of $6.80 to $6.85 billion slightly behind the hopes of some analysts, who had projected $6.85 billion.
Given the extremely high standards for perfection currently prevailing in the AI sector, this minor setback in the forecast was enough to trigger trigger a slight round-of-the-bell profit-taking by investors.
I think the numbers are strong; I’m particularly impressed by the ARR growth of AI-first. That’s why I’m staying invested. The aggressive share buyback program has also boosted EPS nicely—I’d be happy to see that continue.

3 key earnings I’m watching next week 👀
Next week, I’ll be watching 3 key earnings.
I included $GME (+1,05%) because it’s not just a stock anymore, it’s a sentiment indicator.
When GameStop moves, it can say a lot about retail risk appetite, speculation, and market mood.
But the one I’ll watch very closely is $ADBE (+2,7%) ❤️🤍
The big question for me: can software companies really turn AI into stronger growth, or is the market still waiting for proof?
Which earnings are you watching?

Adobe is my largest position.
And I think that makes it worth explaining why I still believe in it after everything that has happened to the stock.
$ADBE (+2,7%) has been heavily punished over the last few years.
The reason isn't difficult to understand: AI arrived and suddenly the market started questioning whether Photoshop, Illustrator and even the broader Creative Cloud ecosystem could eventually become less relevant.
It's a legitimate concern. And as a shareholder, it's something I've questioned myself.
But then I look at what is actually happening inside the business.
In its latest quarter, Adobe generated $6.62B in revenue, up 13% YoY, subscription revenue grew 14%, operating cash flow reached $2.17B and total ARR reached $27.1B.
More importantly, the part that was supposed to threaten Adobe is starting to become a business for Adobe.
AI-first ARR has more than tripled YoY to over $500M, while Firefly alone is approaching $300M in ARR.
That's what keeps me interested.
I don't think Adobe needs to win the race for the best AI model.
It needs to make AI useful inside the workflows millions of professionals already use every day.
And we're starting to see exactly that.
Firefly is integrating Adobe's own models alongside models from OpenAI, Google, Runway and others.
As someone who actually works with Adobe software, this makes a lot of sense to me.
AI can generate an image in seconds.
But professional creative work doesn't end when the image is generated. It needs to be edited, resized, organized, approved, integrated into other projects and ultimately delivered.
That's the ecosystem $ADBE (+2,7%) has spent decades building.
There are risks, of course. AI is changing this industry incredibly fast.
But after all the headlines about AI potentially killing Adobe, I find it interesting that the actual business keeps growing — and Adobe is already making real money from the technology that was supposed to replace it.
The stock has been punished. The business hasn't.
And that's why Adobe remains my largest position.
