What do you prefer? Personally, I’m still on the fence. My strategy thus far has been to have a broad tech ETF (my choice is $XLKS (+0.26%) ), alongside some individual growth and defensive stocks ($D05 (-0.42%) being my favourite) I’m currently heavily in tech and was wondering what all of you think, establishing a big position alongside my existing portfolio with a dividend ETF like $TDIV (-0.19%) or $WDIV (-0.63%) or going with regular indexes like $VUSA (-0.21%) or $VWRL (-0.12%) ?

6Nasdaq 100 or S&P 500 Information Technology ETF? 🤔
Hi everyone,
So far, I've been putting 15% into the $CSNDX (+0.12%) to give my portfolio a little tech boost. 🚀
Now I’m wondering if I should take on even more risk with this $IUIT (+0.13%) , since I’m already taking a conservative approach $VWCE (-0.23%) .
What do you think about this?
Thanks a lot. 😺
Opinions on the portfolio?
Hi there, I would like to share my portfolio here to hear opinions and feedback. XLK is my core which I believe will continue to grow over the longterm. Alphabet is my second biggest position, for the same reason as my XLK holding. 6 other stocks make up the rest, mainly to have a defensive side plus the dividends are also nice. I’m thinking of adding $KTY (+1.15%) , but I prefer to hold no more than what I currently have unless it’s very compelling or if it’s temporary.
Let me know what you think! All opinions are welcome.
$XLKS (+0.26%)
$GOOGL (+0.03%)
$D05 (-0.42%)
$WM (-0.66%)
$LIN (-0.44%)
$ALV (-0.93%)
$BK (+1.41%) ( now BNY) $DG (-0.28%)
Tech conviction vs broad spread? Longterm
What do you consider better, being heavily invested in tech for let’s say the coming 30 years via $XLKS (+0.26%) or $XNAS (+0.13%) ? Or being broadly spread via something like the $VWRL (-0.12%) , $VWCE (-0.23%) , or $FWRG (-0.07%) in the form of an all-world ETF? Keeping in mind my other plays are mostly financial and infrastructure individual picks.
31K milestone
Hi there, I’ve been a silent reader for the past months. But this is my portfolio. For context, I’m 20 years olds and active with investing since 2 years.
$XLKS (+0.26%) - the base of my portfolio, with the belief in tech for the longrun.
$NU (-0.45%) - Is my high conviction bet, as well as $IONQ (+0.86%) which I’m looking to expand.
Other then this, I have some other “sleep well at night” picks I presume, that I also add to for dividends and stable growth.
Let me know what you think and my question is: Should I keep adding to $XLKS (+0.26%) or split up my position into $NVDA (+0.82%) - $AVGO (+1.32%) - $MSFT (-0.49%) - $ORCL (+0.61%) ?
Let me know and good luck to all of you!
IWDA vs. XLKS - Which ETF for Long-Term Growth?
Hi all,
I’m torn between $IWDA (-0.24%) (iShares MSCI World ETF) and $XLKS (+0.26%) (Tech Select Sector SPDR ETF) for long-term investing (10+ years). IWDA offers broad global diversification, while XLKS focuses on US tech with higher growth but more risk.
Which aligns better for balanced growth? Would a split allocation make sense? Also, how do you see the risk/reward in todays market?
Appreciate your insights!
Thanks
