IWDA vs. XLKS - Which ETF for Long-Term Growth?

Hi all,

I’m torn between $IWDA (-1.03%) (iShares MSCI World ETF) and $XLKS (-2.06%) (Tech Select Sector SPDR ETF) for long-term investing (10+ years). IWDA offers broad global diversification, while XLKS focuses on US tech with higher growth but more risk.

Which aligns better for balanced growth? Would a split allocation make sense? Also, how do you see the risk/reward in todays market?

Appreciate your insights!

Thanks

For long term, no doubt about $XLKS

ETFs are great when you get broad diversification while only having to buy a single asset.
But ETFs are also a waste of money if you pay regular fees to someone so they buy 3 stocks for you.
So I would never consider stuff like $XLKS or $IUIT as a core investment.
