Since my last public update of my portfolio in February 2025, over a year has already passed, and a lot happened in my portfolio.
When I last time my portfolio , $HIMS (+0.68%) still by far my largest position and the top performer. But that changed quickly when GLP-1 medications were removed from the list of scarce drugs and the stock went into a nosedive. My portfolio plummeted within weeks from over 200k to just 120k. It really stung, and I decided to close my $HIMS (+0.68%)
position at the next “high.”
No sooner said than done: I did just that in early August 2025 and was able to enjoy a hefty return . (The government was also happy to collect 15k capital gains tax...) It also felt good to have minimized concentration risk. Over 50% of his capital in a single stock like $HIMS (+0.68%) really gives you a headache in the long run.
I then steadily invested the freed-up capital in new stocks like $AMD (+1.74%) , $NBIS (+1.46%) or $META (-0.31%)
invested. I also held onto existing positions such as $GOOG (+1.26%) , $NVDA (+1.48%) , $SOFI (-1.62%) or $NU (-0.39%) were also added to.
In addition, I made some serious mistakes during that time that still hurt. In January 2026, I—actually purely out of boredom, sold my $TXRH (+1.4%) shares to $AEHR (+5.01%) reallocate my portfolio.
Looking in hindsight seems like a awesome trade, things turned out quite differently for me. After about two weeks of indecision , $AEHR (+5.01%) I closed out the €8,000 position with a small profit and, completely without a second thought, put the money into a $META (-0.31%)
long certificate, which then dropped to zero due to the Iran crisis—while $AEHR quadrupled during that time...
-->That was definitely a painful lesson. I hope I never touch a leveraged product again in my life.
Currently, I’m trying to expand my $AMZN (+5.26%) and $MA (+0.55%) positions :)
But since the rest of my portfolio has performed great again this year, I can over it. Last night, for the first time, time since February 19, 2025. I had to wait a full 485 days for that.
That’s what prompted me to write another post here.
What do you think of my portfolio? What were your most instructive experiences on the stock market?
Cheers, Bubu ;)

Hello everyone,
I need to get something off my chest today and ask for your advice at the same time. I made the classic mistake at the beginning of 2026: Boredom coupled with FOMO.
The situation: I was on assembly in Mexico. The market was moving sideways, my portfolio was bobbing along and I had too much time in front of the screen. In a knee-jerk reaction, I invested approx. 8,000 € in $TXRH (+1.4%) (which was actually performing solidly) to invest the money in a $META (-0.31%)
leverage certificate (knock-out at 585 $) as the quarterly figures were great and I was speculating on a small rally.
Things looked good at first, but then came Trump's bombshell against Iran in March. As you know, the markets reacted violently, Meta tore my knock-out and the €8,000 virtually vanished into thin air.
The tax problem: I had hoped to be able to offset the loss against my share gains (e.g. from the Texas Roadhouse sale). Now I had to learn the hard way: the certificate ends up in the loss pot "Other"while individual shares end up in the equity pot are isolated.
So now I'm sitting on a big minus in the "Other" pot, while I have dutifully paid withholding tax on my share gains.
My question to you: I have learned my lesson and will keep my hands off derivatives. How can I make the most of the "Other" loss pot over the next few years? without going back to the casino?
As I understand it, the following things work:
Are there any strategies you would use to "passively" reduce such a pot? I don't want to give away unnecessary taxes, but I definitely don't want to make any more revenge trades with leverage. I currently have no ETFs and no real dividend stocks. So I have to actively do something so that I can take advantage of the loss pot.
Thanks for your opinions and thanks for listening - writing this has helped me to process the whole thing a bit.
Greetings Bubu :)

Convincing figures
Financially, this approach is reflected in an impressive track record. Over the past ten years, sales have increased from 1.81 to 5.37 billion US dollars, while earnings per share have climbed from 1.37 to 6.47 US dollars.
The operating margin has improved from around 8% to over 9% during this period.
In addition, the expansion was financed almost entirely from current cash flow. There are no significant debts, and the number of outstanding Aktien The number of shares outstanding even fell from 70 to 67 million during this period.
In return, the dividend has multiplied from USD 0.66 to USD 2.58 per share. The Dividendenrendite currently stands at 1.55 %. At first glance, this is not a lot, but in my view, it is the direction and not the current level that matters most when it comes to dividends.
For example, anyone who bought into Texas Roadhouse 10 years ago can now enjoy a dividend yield of around 7.5% (based on the purchase price at the time).
Dividend with a future
So if you want to make provisions for your retirement and Dividenden should focus on companies that have the potential to consistently increase their dividend payout over the coming decades.
This, in turn, is only possible if the company has the potential for growth.
This is likely to be the case with Texas Roadhouse.
The company's expansion could continue for decades to come. So far, Texas Roadhouse has mainly been active in the eastern half of the USA, which opens up considerable further potential. In addition to the core brand, business is also growing with the two additional brands Bubba's 33 and Jaggers.
The company currently operates 608 of its own Texas Roadhouse locations, 49 Bubba's and 9 Jaggers. In addition, there are 60 franchise restaurants in the USA and 58 more abroad - almost all under the Texas Roadhouse brand.
Franchise as a yield turbo
In view of competitors such as Outback Steakhouse with over 1,000 branches or Chili's and Applebee's with more than 1,600 locations, the growth potential is far from exhausted.
Added to this is international expansion, which is still in its infancy.
Another factor is the increasing proportion of franchise business. This is a highly profitable, low-risk business that also requires hardly any capital of its own.
It currently accounts for around 15% of the Group's business, but already around 30% for new locations. This shows where the direction could go.
As the franchise share increases, margins and returns on capital increase, which in turn suggests a rising valuation. At the same time, this creates scope for higher payout ratios.
Profit increases of 13-15% are expected in each of the next two financial years. This is in line with long-term averages and therefore seems plausible.
The share should have similar potential. The forward P/E (2026) is currently 23.6.

From a technical perspective, the positive signs are also increasing. If a breakout above USD 179 now succeeds, a pro-cyclical uptrend will begin. Kaufsignal with possible price targets at USD 196 and USD 206.
If the share returns towards USD 160, this could be interesting for anti-cyclical investors.

I'm currently on vacation in Florida and I'm really looking forward to seeing all the different companies like CVS, Target, Chipotle etc. in real life. It feels like a bit of sightseeing for me 😅. One stock I've been keeping an eye on for a while is $TXRH (+1.4%) We had dinner here a few days ago during the week and I have to say, it was really great. The place was completely full, the atmosphere was good, the people were happy, the food was delicious and the staff were great. I have now bought a few shares here and will build up the position in the long term, as the future prospects for the chain are also optimal.
Texas Roadhouse is simply a great store. Me and my colleagues (service technicians) always go to the store at least once a week when we are in the USA.
It's just great value for money! And the store is always full no matter what day or state! 🍻
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to test the other two chains that they now also have...
Another 29 new restaurants will be added this year. According to management, net profit and dividends will also grow by double digits in the next few years 📈💪
I will continue to stock up here in the weak phase... a share to sit back and put your feet up.
Greetings Bubu 👋🍻
🥩 Texas Roadh $TXRH (+1.4%) - A juicy investment in June! 🥩
$TXRH is one of my absolute favorite stocks! Why? Stable dividend growth combined with a strong share price performance makes this share a real highlight in my portfolio.
Every quarter, new steakhouses open in the USA 🇺🇸, and the existing restaurants are recording continuously rising sales both in the take-away business and for in-house consumption. Demand remains robust - whether on weekdays or weekends. I have visited the restaurants myself in several states and was impressed by how crowded they are and how many guests enjoy their evening there.
A company with strong growth, loyal customers and a convincing success story!
Happy investing! 📈 What did you buy this month?
