So, my $OHB (+0.22%) shares that I put up for sale were booked out at the limit today. It is somehow not foreseeable how long KKR will need for the regulatory stuff. And as the shares will not rise any further and there will be no more dividends, I have sold them. I should have done it straight away, I've already given away some performance elsewhere ... Well, I could have.

This freed up just under €22,000 (500 OHB shares sold at €43.8, making +506% and +€2200 net dividends)

A portion was directly reinvested.

Hello, Getquin community. I am a software engineer living and working in Germany since 2021. I started investing in May 2022 when my wife also started working as a software engineer. I started with wealth management at Scalable Capital, but after doing a lot of research and gaining knowledge about the stock market, I decided to take the helm myself. I left wealth management in May 2023 and started investing on my own. Initially, I invested in 1 million different ETFs and shares, but gradually I realized my mistakes and formed a strategy that I have been trying to stick to since last summer.

My savings plan:

Monthly amount: €2,000

$IWDA (+1.02%) - €1,000: I am interested in macroeconomics and think that this index and ETF are a good indicator of the global economy and that I can benefit from global economic growth.

$VUSA (+0.98%) - €400: I know that this ETF has a lot of overlap with the $IWDA (+1.02%) but I like the small dividend payout of $VUSA. (+0.98%)

$XD5E (+0.71%) - €300: I live in Europe and like the stability here. I know the growth forecast for the European economy is not very attractive, but I think this region has a lot to offer. The ETF is made up of so many great stocks and I just want to be exposed to them a bit more.

$IBC3 (+0.66%) - €300: Even though China is struggling with the recent collapse of the real estate market and there are also a lot of geopolitical risks in this region this year, I want to give a little more weight to emerging markets. India and Taiwan in particular.

Individual stocks:

As you can see in my portfolio, I like to invest in some individual stocks from time to time. No definite goal, just for fun! However, I have decided to reduce my positions in individual stocks this year after receiving dividends (especially German car manufacturers). But I would like to introduce you to some of my interesting stocks.

I have about €300 invested in Indonesian banks. I think Indonesia's young and huge population has a lot of potential. I also invested about €1600 in REITS (both individual stocks and an ETF) because I think the real estate market will see a big increase in value once interest rates are back to 1-2%.

Let me know what you think of my portfolio and strategy. I am very happy with my current setup and would like to keep it as long as possible (maybe 20-30 years).

A few days ago I received another payout of my $SMMCHA received 💰

The special thing was that I have already brought in the net dividend payments from the entire, last year with it. Means now already 7 months rent-free in the bag 👍🏼 Until the end of the year should still one or the other day "rent" come in. For a whole month more it is unfortunately not enough with the Swiss rent prices. The full 8 month will be celebrated next year.

To celebrate, I have set my monthly savings plans to the $SPY (+0.92%) and $VHYL (+1.17%) by 100$ each. Somewhat larger I have bought in September at $RTX (+0.95%) and $XD5E (+0.71%) 💸💸💸

Small August Update

I have now disposed of most of my $BSL (+1.78%) shares, with a total gain of 663%. I still have 300 shares in the depot. They also remain lying, let's see how the journey continues there.

I have already reinvested some of the money that has been freed up. I have bought at $EUZ (+9.07%) and the $XD5E (+0.71%) (1000€ each). With the Swiss (2500CHF) I have bought with $LAND (+1.45%), $BION (+0.77%) and the $VHYL (+1.17%) added.

Also with the Americans I have re-bought at individual savings plan candidates. A total of 1900$ and an additional 1000$ one-time purchase at $CVS (+1.29%) have flowed into the dollar depot.

So far the investments, still something is left from the sale. This will probably be invested, hopefully somewhat inflation-protected, in new wheels for my road bike. So come to the previous 3100km this year hopefully still some, more on new shoes in addition.

Today comes the $ULVR (+2.17%) dividend. This is now already enough for a good box of wine, just in time for the vacations.

With $OHB (+0.22%) one of my oldest positions in the portfolio will disappear from the price list.

From a financial point of view, this is already very ok with +550% since 2005, the highest price was once just under 50€. Nevertheless, it is a pity not to be able to be there anymore. I am sure that quite different figures will be generated in the next few years 💰💰💰

Now the question inevitably arises, where to put the cash ? Additional purchases at $BYW6 (+4.06%)
$PSAN (-0.47%)
$GSC1 (+0.18%) or also $COK (-3.58%) ? Or simply further $XD5E (+0.71%) expand? First World Problems 😉
