But day trading is usually also done in LTF, so you don't necessarily need volatile stocks, you can also daytrade a $ALV, for example, I have already done so

You can also daytrade/scalp the nasdaq yourself

@Investingyoung LFT is clear. The more volatile, the faster my trade targets are reached. The more trades per day. Entry and exit are fixed. The frequency brings me the sum.

I also have my favorites, as you have already mentioned in part, but I am always on the lookout, and my screener settings always help me to find interesting stocks on a daily basis.
In addition to a high ADR, it is also the minimum volume in units and in USD to ensure liquidity. I also like to add the price gap at the start of trading (watch out for opening range reversal).
For short or long, I also look at whether the price is generally above or below the SMA5&50.

PS: as a trader you will probably use TV, look for the indicator WMT Stats V2, which will give you a first impression right in the chart😉

@TomTurboInvest Thanks for your input. Correct, that's how I'm currently proceeding. I have a PineScript with various indicators which works quite well for me at the moment. I'll take a look at your indicator.

@Tigawutz this is a script from a trader, not from me - but it is practical. TV has set my script to private again as it does not comply with the guidelines 🤪
I only have the code on DE kommentiert🤷🏽‍♂️
I'll have to adapt it if I have the time and inclination.
