Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. approved the payment of extraordinary dividends in the amount of approximately US$ 3,430,540 billion, equivalent to US$ 0.27 per outstanding common and preferred share. Of this amount, US$ 2,675,821 billion is intended as an interim dividend based on the capital remuneration reserve and US$ 754,719 as an interim dividend.

For holders of Petrobras shares traded on the B3, the payment will be made on December 23, 2024. ADR holders will receive the payment from January 3, 2025.

Petrobras also announced that its Board of Directors has approved the 2050 Strategic Plan and the 2025-2029 Business Plan.

$PETR4 (+3,16%) cooperate to restart ANSA fertilizer production

Petrobras and Yara have signed two agreements, both based on the resumption of production at Araucaria Nitrogenados S.A. (ANSA), a wholly owned subsidiary of Petrobras, in a further step towards structuring a potential partnership in the fertilizer and industrial products sector.

Under the first agreement, ANSA will produce liquid reducing agents for the automotive industry (ARLA 32), using Yara's high quality urea for the automotive industry as raw material. This will facilitate the resumption of domestic production and reduce dependence on imports. The ARLA 32 will be sold by Yara.

The contract is valid until ANSA resumes production. From then on, ARLA 32 will be produced with raw materials from ANSA itself.

The second is a technical cooperation agreement for the development of joint studies on fertilizers and industrial products, as well as for energy transition efforts related to decarbonization projects, emissions reduction and the production of renewable and low-carbon fertilizers. This scientific, technological and operational cooperation aims to achieve greater production efficiency and increase the supply of these products on the market.

Brazilian state-owned oil company Petrobras announced on Monday that its management has proposed a US$111 billion business plan for the period 2025-2029 to the board of directors, according to a securities document.

The proposal states that the business plan calls for ordinary dividends of US$45 billion for the period and extraordinary dividends of up to US$10 billion.

The proposed plan exceeds the previous plan for 2024-2028 by approximately US$9 billion, with approximately US$77 billion earmarked for exploration and production activities, which exceeds the US$73 billion earmarked in the previous plan.

In addition, US$ 20 billion is earmarked for refining, transportation, marketing, petrochemicals and fertilizers, with an expected production of around 3.2 million barrels of oil equivalent per day.

If this amount is confirmed, Petrobras would retain its status as the largest crude oil producer in Latin America.

Since last year, Petrobras has been under pressure from President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva to make investments in order to promote the growth of the Brazilian economy and create local jobs.

The Reuters news agency reported last month, citing sources, that the plan is likely to lead to a reduction in planned investments for 2025 compared to the previous plan.

This makes Petrobras' new targets all the more encouraging.

Brazilian state oil company Petrobras believes it is "technically possible" to pay special dividends by the end of the year if its strategic plan is approved on schedule this month, its chief financial officer said on Friday.

During a conference call with analysts, Fernando Melgarejo said management will evaluate possible special dividends for 2024 along with the strategic plan.

Following on from my post of just under a week ago:

I actually found a thread in the official TR forum where some people are also "complaining" that they are missing the dividend from August 20. But there are also some who are still missing the dividend from June 2024. And indeed: I am also missing the June 2024 dividend.

Some people in the forum have already contacted BaFin and/or a lawyer. But TR seems to be screwing up again.

Confirms me again to look around for another broker...

Petroleo Brasileiro dividend received?

Hello, I have a question for all those who hold Petroleo Brasileiro shares.

There was a payday on 20.08. I have the share at TR. So far, the dividend has sometimes arrived a week later. But never later. Now it's already been 3 weeks. I would be interested to know whether others have already received the dividend (regardless of which broker) on August 20?

The TR says that it may take some time. Just a prefabricated answer. I'm just surprised that, unlike usual, it's already been 3 weeks. It would be interesting to know whether this is a TR-specific problem or a general one.

Stocked up again a little. Next additional purchase at under €5.

The CEO was fired, but I think that's just for show. Ultimately, Lula wants to install his people. However, the state is still dependent on the dividend and even if it were to be cut or canceled, Lula won't stay forever. The company is otherwise stable.

Now we really have to see what happens.

The year is coming to an end and I would like to take a look back at my first 6 months 😁

A very instructive year and a very exciting year - that's how I would describe it. Graduated from high school. Started the dual study program and took my first step into "real life"😂 Even at school, I always had a keen interest in shares and the like :) After school, I let the topic of investing slide a little and finally opened my TradeRepublic account on 2.6.23.

You can see the first inventions in the first picture 😶 I would call that blind investing. I hardly did any research apart from looking at the 5-year chart 😂

Then I looked at the $PETR4 (+3,16%) (hope this is the right one) and invested due to the high dividend - more luck than sense that this position is in the plus 🙈

After a lot of research and inquiries, I then decided to restructure my portfolio - an important decision 👍

Decided in favor of the $VWCE (+0,98%) decided. It became my largest position in the portfolio. Later I made a decision and after the distributing ETF I bought the accumulating ETF via the savings plan. I personally find it more interesting 😀

I bought all my positions via a savings plan to avoid the fees.

I currently invest around €125 a month :) I also get around 4% interest from the call money :) I would like to have the money freely available so that I can access it in an emergency.

I hope you were able to give a little insight into my portfolio 🤝 below you can see the Trade Republic balance sheet again. (Getquin somehow shows this incorrectly)

What is your opinion on $PETR4 (+3,16%) ? Is there still something going on with the dividends? They have slumped quite a bit this year due to the change of government.

Why does $PETR4 (+3,16%) such a blatantly high dividend? Have not yet dealt with the company, maybe who knows a little here?
