Since I get to celebrate my 18th birthday this month, and I’ve also seen a jump in my income thanks to a new part-time job I’m doing alongside school—
I’ve taken this as an opportunity to start a small monthly savings plan on the NASDAQ.
(There are even two installments this month)…
The savings plan is designed for the long term—probably at least 10 or 20 years—and I chose the dividend-paying option because it gives me peace of mind to see a few cents hit my account every now and then…
Best regards, Small Investor 😁

I recently discovered $TMGT (+0,28 %) and I’m actually pretty excited about it :) I just opened a position
It gives exposure to some of the more interesting corners of tech: AI, cybersecurity, robotics, space, quantum, data centers, semiconductors and more, basically a basket of sectors that are excited but probably will overcomplicate your portfolio if you try to expose yourself to each.
What really caught my attention are the holdings: $NBIS (+3,18 %)
$MRVL (+2,68 %)
$AMD (+0,59 %)
$MU (+0,48 %)
$PANW (-2,2 %)
$CRWD (+0,1 %)
$S (+1,85 %)
$EQIX (+0,97 %)
$DLR (+1,33 %)
$IREN (-1,54 %)
$VRT (+1,02 %)
$IONQ (+1,96 %) and many other smaller/niche companies with a lot of potential and barelly or really small existed in other ETFs and the big names doesn't dominate it. Also it has China and tiny bit small caps.
It also helped me finally get rid of my individual stock positions. A lot of the companies I was looking at for extra upside simply weren’t in my Nasdaq 100 or World Momentum ETFs, but many of them are here.
So instead of trying to guess which one will outperform, I can own the whole basket.
For me it’s a small aggressive satellite position, not a core ETF.
One small correction for Getquin: the TER is 0.50%, not what is currently shown here.
The fund is still pretty small, so hopefully more people discover it.
There is also $ITEP (+0,38 %) but i like the exposure of $TMGT (+0,28 %) better also it doesn't perform good when you conpare to $TMGT.
It has also more global thematic brother $WMGT (+0,13 %) which is performing really good since the inception.
What do you guys think about $TMGT (+0,28 %)
? Would you add something like this alongside Nasdaq/Momentum, or is it too thematic for you?

Friday was a special day because I became a father for the first time 👶. To celebrate the occasion, I bought my son gold, silver, Bitcoin, and the NASDAQ 100 ETF, all for 2,500€ each.
1.) UBS NASDAQ 100 ETF A412XA, TER: 0.13%
2.) WisdomTree Physical Swiss Gold USD ETC A1DCTK, TER: 0.15%
3.) WisdomTree Core Physical Silver ETC A4AE1X, TER: 0.19%
4.) Bitcoin (Alternative: 21shares Bitcoin Core ETP A3GZ2Z, TER: 0.10%)
The last three are tax-free after a one-year holding period. The greedy government gets nothing. Just a few hours after his birth, my son is already a Bitcoin holder, a shareholder, and a precious metals investor. Priorities. And there you have it: the “Junior Portfolio.” What do you have in your child’s junior portfolio?
We discussed these two precious metal ETCs in podcast episode 159: https://open.spotify.com/episode/3K5LRl3gTl0OlxaA12xPob?si=ojJydfKPSHWpsW2Hw4etJA&nd=1&dlsi=ea7ce84bd4f6449f

Hey, my VL contract with the $EXXT (+0,36 %) I've been saving for 2 years is up 4.7 %.
Let's hope for the next 4 years.
2020 started with tr to gain first experience on the financial markets with manageable funds. 600€
many shares with very small amounts...
naaaja...
With $9626 (-0,75 %) and $9866 (+1,07 %) had large short-term gains in the portfolio during Corona. But just as quickly accumulated losses again due to overpriced speculative assets.
2024 strategy Switch to etf savings plan and diversification of countries and sectors as well as $BTC (-0,12 %) admixture.
long-term investment idea:
Energy sector should be a safe bet, as global consumption is increasing annually, not decreasing.
then generally modern technologies
ETF
$ISAC (+0,37 %) - Main position 50%
$EXXT (+0,36 %) - usa technology boost distributing 30%
$EXSH (+1,22 %) - Europe hedge (finance and insurance) distributing 20%
I will continue to buy or sell shares from time to time, depending on whether it is worthwhile or not.
Now you...
Any suggestions?
Good evening to the community!
I would like to add one or two ETFs to my portfolio. The focus this time is on the distributing variant, as I already have the $VWCE (+0,39 %) in my portfolio.
I currently have my eye on three ETFs:
However, my portfolio is already quite tech-heavy, so I'm not sure whether it's really worth adding the $EXXT (+0,36 %) to save. 🧐
Hence my question to you:
Which of the two ETFs - $FGEQ (+0,77 %) or $TDIV (+1,36 %) - would you rather include in your portfolio and why?
What are the differences between the two?
And: Is it worth saving in both?
Perhaps some of you experienced investors can help me out here 🙏🏽

Hello dear community, I bought 2 shares on 7.07.2024 at a price of $MC (+0,61 %) at a price of 706 per share and am therefore in the red. I am currently considering selling in the red and switching to the $EXXT (+0,36 %) as I am up 14% with this one since 11.10.2024. So this one is doing better.
I look forward to your advice
Sold the individual position directly before the Microsoft $MSFT (-0,45 %) sold the individual position, as I don't see any above-average profit from Microsoft in the long term. I am now also considering Apple $AAPL (-1,16 %) and $NVDA (+1,51 %) as soon as they get close to their 52W highs again (which may take a while for the latter) and put the whole thing into a distributing NASDAQ 100 ETF. $EXXT (+0,36 %) in a distributing NASDAQ 100 ETF. Only $GOOGL (-1,54 %) is the only one I would like to keep, because I really do expect a lot of further development there and the product portfolio is the most broadly diversified.
What is your long-term experience with individual tech stocks compared to the NASDAQ? Do the Big 7 beat the broadly diversified index in the long term? Does it always depend on the current situation (in which, in my opinion, the really big ones in particular are overvalued)?
