For those who $CME (+3,13 %) aren’t familiar with it… here’s a quick summary:

The CME Group operates the world’s largest futures exchange. There, investors and companies trade futures and options on stock indices, interest rates, commodities, currencies, and many other asset classes to hedge against risks or to speculate on price movements.

Simply put: for example, Farmers, airlines, and many other companies today use derivatives on fuel or other commodities to hedge against potential price increases in the future.

• Airlines: Fuel prices
• Farmers: Prices for corn, wheat, soybeans, livestock, etc.
• Energy companies: Oil and natural gas prices
• Banks and insurance companies: Interest rate changes
• International companies: Exchange rates
• Investors and Funds: Stock indices such as the S&P 500 or Nasdaq

In my opinion , a great niche company, with extra special dividends when the company generates high free cash flow.

My thoughts:

The financial sector is now the largest in my portfolio. I’ll be taking a slightly more cautious approach here for the time being, until good opportunities to buy more arise.

CME , however, I’ll still build up my position to my desired size of approx. €6,000 and then simply let the position grow from there.

I expect that over the next few months I’ll focus more on materials,
industry and infrastructure . These companies include, among others, $HD (+0,84 %) and $WIE (+1,73 %) and $DG (-0,49 %) .

As I had already mentioned a few years ago in the portfolio and at that time with profit . In the meantime, the stock is trading significantly lower than it did back then, and it still haunts me to this day because I bricks seem to be on every construction site .

This is not investment advice—just my thoughts.

I was inspired by a Focus Money article and because many people here are asking.

I won't be investing myself, it's too short-term for me. But there are still some very interesting companies.

The signs of a peace process in Ukraine are solidifying. This is triggering a run on the stock market for shares that could benefit from reconstruction

Regardless of the political interpretation, the stock market has been turning its back on the war for several days now and is betting on the coming peace. Stocks that are likely to benefit from the reconstruction in Ukraine have soared. The UBS Ukraine Reconstruction Index, which comprises 25 of these stocks, has been climbing for days and is at an all-time high. "The effects of a possible ceasefire in Ukraine are still being underestimated on the financial markets," says Bernd Meyer, Chief Investment Strategist and Head of Multi Asset at Berenberg, who is convinced that the rally will continue. Reconstruction requires enormous resources. According to estimates by the World Bank, the costs for this amount to a total of 500 billion dollars - the equivalent of Austria's gross domestic product and more than three times Ukraine's annual economic output before the war. The money is likely to benefit construction companies, suppliers, infrastructure companies and banks in particular. European companies could be the main beneficiaries - especially from neighboring countries such as Poland and Hungary, but also the Czech Republic, Austria and Germany.

With Wärtsilä $WRT1V (-2,28 %) a provider of technologies for the shipping and energy markets, and Konecranes $KCR (+1,89 %) a manufacturer of industrial cranes and drive technology, Finnish companies are also on the list of potential peace beneficiaries - as are Italian companies such as the cement and building materials manufacturer Buzzi $BZU (-0,67 %) The list is long. There is a great need for building materials, steel and cables to restore the destroyed infrastructure and energy supply. There is still no thematic fund or ETF on the beneficiaries of the reconstruction in Ukraine. Investors who want to benefit from this are therefore well advised to combine several securities into a portfolio themselves.

What stocks are you focusing on for a possible peace in Ukraine? Some building materials stocks, such as $HEI (-1,12 %) Heidelberg M. have unfortunately already done well. $WIE (+1,73 %) Wienerberger has just started to rise. I am looking forward to your ideas or inputs...

Bricks are normally produced using energy from natural gas. In Helpfau-Uttendorf in Upper Austria, researchers have helped to develop carbon dioxide-saving alternatives.

Wienerberger AG / $WIE (+1,73 %) 🧱🏠🏟️

$WIE (+1,73 %) - @TomTurboInvest - as Össi shares specialist, seems to me an interesting investment, good growth, favorable valuation and seems robust in the current economic situation . What says the professional ? 😊

At 5:30 a.m. the alarm clock on my $AAPL (+1,11 %) iPhone wakes me from my sleep $VER (-0,82 %) that there is light in the house. Nothing works without electricity.

The first path leads to the bathroom where, apart from water, I only find products from $ULVR (+2,08 %)
$PG (+2,54 %) and $BEI (+1,59 %) on my skin. Praise for the $OMV (+0,65 %) - without fuels it would be pretty chilly in the house. Thanks to Biotherm bricks from $WIE (+1,73 %) the heat stays where it should be.

While the hot coffee from $NESN (+2,21 %) unfolds its aroma, I quickly check all the accounts and deposits I have with Easybank, a brand of the $BG (-1,64 %) . As I'm not the only one in the family whose $V (-0,69 %)
$MA (+0,32 %) and cell phone contract from $TKA (+0,06 %) my account, a daily balance check is not a disadvantage😉

If it's not one of my 3 home office days of the week, I drive my car from $VOW3 (-2,14 %) over perfect roads from the $STR (-0,29 %) to the office 50km away.

In the office as well as in the home office, I sometimes start the notebook from $HPQ (-0,11 %) Thanks to the docking station, flat screen and the like, we are well equipped everywhere. Once the systems are up and running, we communicate via all the channels that the $MSFT (-1,47 %) Office package offers. It can also be exhausting when the flood of chats and emails comes in parallel to MS Teams video calls... "follow the sun" colleagues are always active somewhere.

Thanks to cloud solutions from $AMZN (-1,37 %) and $GOOG (-1,6 %) make it possible to access all documents at any time. A blessing and a curse at the same time - a short blackout in between would be nice. After 8-12 hours, depending on how the day goes, it's off home, or just down to the kitchen.

When I see my 3 girls, I ask myself why I'm not actually all-in with $ZAL (-2,47 %)
$YOU
$ADS (+0,42 %)
$NKE (-0,13 %) and Co? How much do you actually have to buy to be entitled to a position on the supervisory board?

Finally, I would like to thank my wife, who promised me her full support with my World Cup blockade at breakfast today, we will now watch Christmas movies on $NFLX (+0,49 %) watch (Insider tip - all-in $NFLX (+0,49 %)
-no investment advice - the author is not invested - rather subscribed).

So that's it from me. And now off to the mountains to enjoy the beautiful November weather...

PS: as we have quite strict social media guidelines, I will not mention my employer. I myself am or was once an electronics engineer and then drifted towards purchasing. After many interesting years in strategic purchasing in industry and automotive, I am now responsible for supporting this area. I am responsible for all processes in the source-to-pay area, including the further development of the associated system landscape. Through my work in purchasing, I got to know the joy of company analyses, so the path to the stock market was not far away.

Subsequent purchase and expansion of the position in Wienerberger, solid and exciting company from Austria 🇦🇹 - despite possible gas problems in winter, entry now. In principle, Wienerberger should be prepared for a gas embargo until next summer, and there are already production facilities with wind/hydrogen in Scandinavia

Post-acquisition Wienerberger, after today's visit to the headquarters "Shareholders' Day" and the Management Board presentation of future targets.
