Hi everyone,

I often read posts here where people ask for feedback, but the story behind them is missing. That’s why today I’d like to share my own portfolio—and my story—in a completely transparent way.

A little about me:

I’m 31 years old and have been active on GQ for quite some time. My current net worth of just under 1.28 million euros is the result of my own hard work. Even as a child, I would occasionally try out potentially profitable business ideas on the side to earn some money—and six years ago, I took the plunge into self-employment.

I now have two companies in different industries. It became clear to me quite early on that I needed a high, recurring active income if I wanted to build up a certain level of wealth, so I left my full-time job fairly early on.

For the next 12 months, I’m planning on a monthly income of approximately 30,000 euros. In addition, I naturally have recurring income, which can fluctuate up or down over the long term.

My goal is to continue growing this wealth prudently so that I can eventually live entirely off the dividends. Currently, for tax reasons, I hold portions of two stocks ($MSFT (+5,61 %) and $NOVO B (-1,98 %) ) are held as individual positions in my holding account, and the rest is held in my personal account.

My Strategy and the Core of the Portfolio

I follow a classic core-satellite approach. The core—which I intend to use later as a kind of pension substitute—consists of two ETFs: the $HMWO (-0,35 %) and the $QQQ. (-0,44 %) I’m aware that these two holdings overlap; I continue to contribute to both monthly via a savings plan.

The individual stocks and my problem children

When it comes to individual stocks, I look for a combination of long-term trends and reliable cash flow. On the one hand, I deliberately overweight tech stocks and future classics such as $MSFT (+5,61 %) , $GOOGL (-9,94 %) , $NVDA (-1,47 %) , $META (-0,39 %) , $AMZN (+0,5 %) and $AAPL (-1,02 %) , because I am firmly convinced that these industries will continue to perform well in the coming years.

For my dividend strategy and the necessary cash flow, I’ve invested in quality stocks such as $ALV (+0,24 %) , $MUV2, $NOVO B (-1,98 %) and $UNH (-0,62 %) in my portfolio. This is complemented by classic dividend-paying stocks such as $BATS (-0,09 %) , $SIE (+0,7 %) , $ARCC (-0,72 %) and $O (-0,59 %).

But let’s be honest: values like $MPW (+0,45 %)
$PYPL (+0,44 %) , $BAYN (-0,08 %) or gambling $LILM aren’t performing at all as once hoped.

In the crypto sector, $BTC (-1,59 %) as the largest holding, along with a small amount of $SOL (-2,38 %) and $XRP (-2,2 %) the whole thing—in the future, I’ll consolidate everything into the position $BTC (-1,59 %) and add a little $4GLD (-0,57 %) to it.

What’s Next

At the end of this month, I’m expecting a large incoming payment of around 50,000 euros. I’d like to split the amount and invest it both in the $HMWO (-0,35 %) as well as specifically into my dividend stocks to further strengthen the foundation.

The goal is to reach a portfolio value of 1.5 million by the end of the year.

Feel free to share your thoughts—I look forward to the discussion :-)

$MPW (+0,45 %) I have to say, they're really getting on my nerves. But cheap is cheap. What do you think of the stock?

Image is AI-generated, of course.

I can take it.

Let me know what you think.

Lately I've:

$MPW (+0,45 %) (+-0%)

$OHI (-1,68 %) (with +40% including dividend)

out of my portfolio, simply because I want to focus more on growth.

$GIS (-0,9 %) will probably be the next to go.

I have cybersecurity $CRWD (-6,58 %) and $PANW (-8,53 %) on the watch list.

Otherwise:

$SNOW (-1,89 %)

$MSFT (+5,61 %)

$ASML (+0,02 %)

Hello everyone,

My investment journey began almost 3 years ago. I started my training as a real estate agent and regularly put some of my salary aside.

After that, I set myself a goal: To have 10k deposit at the end of my apprenticeship.

I completed my training in January due to a shortened training period.

Now that I have a "real" salary, I've been able to significantly increase my savings rate ~150 -> ~500€. However, this will only last until September because I will then be studying real estate management on a dual basis and will have a significantly lower salary again.

The 3 years on the stock market were a lot of fun, it was a wild up and down. Initially with typical bad buys like $MPW (+0,45 %) or any stock that was recommended on Insta, I then put together my portfolio. Now I've got my portfolio to the point where I want to hold a maximum of 10 positions, with the $ISAC (-0,15 %) should always remain the largest position.

A few words about my other positions:

Innodata and Nebius in particular have done extremely well recently. Only my profits are still in Innodata. I will use the other 50% to pay for my flight to my vacation (sometimes you have to treat yourself🙈) I will continue to hold both positions in the long term.

The Alphabet position is a free share from Trade Republic. Can only be sold at Christmas.

I picked up BAT at the end of 2023 and am super happy, even though I know that at my age (22) growth is much more important than dividends.

With Novo, like some here, I'm unfortunately still in the red, but I think the position size and the risk/reward ratio are still okay.

I was also able to achieve a good return with the Space Innovators ETF, even though I got in relatively late. I am considering selling here after the SpaceX IPO, which is just under a month away. What is your opinion on this?

I still plan to save the Ai&Big Data ETF for the long term, as I see it as a must-have for the future.

I also don't think it's a bad idea to add BTC to my portfolio, as I was able to take home a €250 bonus after depositing €1000, which has significantly increased the position.

Lastly, my sinfully expensive VWL savings fund, the Deka Fond, which I unfortunately have to let run. The employer saves €14 here and I pay the remaining €26 to take the full saver's allowance.

So now I should have said something about each position, please give me some feedback. Where were you financially at 22 and what are your tips for the future? :)

$MPW (+0,45 %) There is currently good news for all those who have held out: The latest quarterly figures have confirmed the targeted process of transferring to new tenants to date. There is still a long way to go for MPW, which according to Ed is to be completed by the end of next year - the target remains one billion in cash rent by the end of 2026. 150 mil ($) in buy backs were announced - to be executed immediately. And today there was a long-awaited dividend increase to 0.09$ for the time being.

In my opinion, the future looks bright.
