Hello my dears,

Yesterday I received a request for a less risky stock from the growth sector:

Aerospace

in which one could invest due to growth and good margins.

And I immediately started looking again.

And I found the Alcoa or Arconic spin-off

Howmet Aerospace $HWM (+0,96 %)

Howmet Aerospace is the high-tech aerospace division that emerged from the original Alcoa Group via Arconic.

As always, I welcome plenty of comments 😘

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is a provider of advanced engineering solutions for the aerospace and transportation industries. The company's segments include Engine Products, Fastening Systems, Engineered Structures and Forged Wheels. The Engine Products segment utilizes advanced designs and technologies to support engine programs and manufactures components for aircraft engines and industrial gas turbines. The Fastening Systems segment produces fastening systems for aerospace and industrial applications, as well as fasteners and installation tools for commercial transportation. The Engineered Structures segment produces titanium ingots and rolled products for aerospace and defense applications and is vertically integrated to produce titanium forgings, extrusions, forming and machining services for airframes, wings, engines and landing gear components. The Forged Wheels segment manufactures forged aluminum wheels for trucks, buses, trailers and related products for the global commercial transportation market.

Number of employees: 25,430

In the last financial year, the turnover of Howmet Aerospace Inc. increased by 11.1% from USD 7.4 billion to USD 8.3 billion. Profit rose by 30.6% from USD 1.2 billion to USD 1.5 billion. The net profit margin was thus 18.3% compared to 15.5% in the previous year. On February 12, 2026, Howmet Aerospace Inc. reported its Q3 figures for the quarter ending December 31, 2025. Revenue in the earnings period amounted to USD 2.2 billion (+14.6% compared to the same quarter of the previous year) and profit was USD 372.0 million (+18.5% compared to the same quarter of the previous year).

• HWM's commercial aerospace sales increased by 13% year-on-year and accounted for 53% of sales in the fourth quarter of 2025.
• The Engine Products segment grew by 19.7%, driven by strong demand for the commercial aerospace industry.
• Defense demand is growing with engine spare parts for F-35, F-15, F-16 and higher budgets.

While the commercial aerospace market continues to be the main driver for the company, the defense sector is also showing positive momentum, driven by steady government support. Buoyed by increased demand for engine spare parts, particularly for older fighter aircraft such as the F-35, F-15 and F-16, as well as rising military budgets, this market is expected to show further gains in the coming quarters.

• Howmet Aerospace recently reported upbeat fourth fiscal quarter results and raised its first quarter earnings guidance above analysts' expectations, while also gaining visibility as one of Jim Cramer's standout names in defense technology.
• This combination of stronger-than-expected guidance and growing recognition for its role in delivering critical aerospace and defense components has sharpened investor focus on Howmet's earnings power and industry position.

Among recent announcements, the proposed $1.8 billion acquisition of Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing, which will be financed with new senior notes and other debt, stands out. It is clearly in the path of Howmet's growth catalysts, potentially expanding content per aircraft and exposure to fasteners and engine components, while reinforcing the existing risk that higher capex and higher debt could weigh on cash flows if demand or pricing falls short.

Hello everyone, it's about the value $HWM (+0,96 %)

Unfortunately there are no posts about this here yet. So of course I ask myself why? Sure, the share is not cheap. But it should benefit from the clear hypes in the new year. I would now cheekily make use of our new list of experts and @EpsEra
@Tenbagger2024
@Multibagger
@Klein-Anleger nominate. Perhaps someone has heard of the company before?

P/E ratio at 58; net profit up 50% and cash flow also looks good.

I wish you and the silent readers a Merry Christmas 🎁🎄
