I have $AD (-0,77 %) in my portfolio and talk about possible actions on my part. Have fun and best regards, Angelo from FINANZEN ANDERS
Defensive phase
As I mentioned a while ago, I am looking for positions to make my portfolio more price stable. Therefore, today I took position in:
- $AD (-0,77 %) (20 pieces)
- $ULVR (-0,1 %) (2 pieces purchased)
In the more risky corner I find $TWEKA (-0,32 %) a company that has plenty of potential despite disappointing quarters. Picked up at €34 each.
Q2 figures
Quarterly figures $AD (-0,77 %) Yesterday, a solid Q2, revenue plus 3.3% to €23.1 bln, online sales +11.8%. For the first time a profit for the total online part 💪🏼 Underlying earnings per share was €0.65 and interim dividend €0.51. Margins are slightly lower (4%) due to investments in the US, but outlook for 2025 remains strong. E-commerce continues to grow, bol.com is also doing well.
Still a hold 💰
Portfolio update!
After some solid tips and reflection, I’ve cleaned up the portfolio a bit. Still holding quite a few positions, but I’m more focused than ever. $NVDA (-1,76 %) (Nvidia) continues to dominate the AI space with no real competition in sight. $PLTR (-2,18 %) (Palantir) is slowly proving its worth with strong long-term government and commercial contracts. $AD (-0,77 %) (Ahold Delhaize) provides reliable stability in every market condition. $MAIN (-1,11 %) (Main Street Capital) keeps the income steady with consistent payouts. $BFIT (+0,27 %) (Basic-Fit) is expanding fast across Europe, and I like the potential. I’ve increased my $VHYL (-0,48 %) exposure for a strong dividend base. My almost daily dividend pie is still going strong. Small, steady progress, and I’m in it for the long haul.
Good luck!
Ahold Delhaize purchase
Picked up 7 more shares of Ahold Delhaize today for €34.53 each, totaling €241.71. I have real faith in this Dutch company, not because it’s exciting but because it’s consistent and dependable. They run some of the biggest supermarket chains across Europe and the U.S., and people always need groceries, no matter what the market is doing. Their steady cash flow, solid balance sheet, and reliable track record make it a long-term play I feel good about holding.
Wanne hear your opinion!
Being rased with drinking pepsi and eating the pepsi co chips.
In my last years of deepening in the market I saw that business such as $PEP (-0,01 %)
$KO (-0,11 %)
$AD (-0,77 %) do better in a bear market that is slowing.
My current pattern is to buy more Pepsi as it delivers me a certain amount of dividend. The current dividend is around the 4.4%, with shares becoming cheaper it will only rise.
Altough of this I am still sceptical and cautious with buying new shares.

Q1 results
Ahold Delhaize $AD (-0,77 %) shares are surging today. After the company released its Q1 2025 results, the results exceeded the market expectations. Both revenue and profit were higher than last year, with revenue reaching €23.3 billion (vs. expected €23.05 billion) and strong growth in both the US (3.1%) and Europe (3.7%).
CEO Frans Muller highlighted robust sales growth in all key markets. The positive surprise, especially in revenue and regional performance, has boosted investor confidence and driven the stock higher. Technical factors may be amplifying the move, but the main driver is clearly the strong financial performance and outlook. A strong quarter for Ahold!
