iShares Automation & Robotics ETF A Forum

Hello dear Gequin Community,

I am currently working on restructuring my portfolio. Historically, I currently have a few funds and a number of individual shares.

I would like to switch the funds to ETFs and continue to save in them.

Classically, I would now select the following ETFs:

$VWCE (-0.62%) / $VHYL (-1.03%) and $VFEG (-1.55%)

Now my little thought experiment: Why should I limit myself to three ETFS when I could spread the whole thing much more widely? I have also thought about something like this (with smaller sums, of course):

Of course I have a few duplications here, but I am much more differentiated.

Does this approach make sense in your eyes or is it a modest idea?

I am in the process of reorganizing my portfolio. This will be my new portfolio. I simply want to invest in dividends and at the same time reduce the percentage of USA. I think I'm doing quite well this way, especially as I can also reduce my risk appetite.

First investment amount will be 4.527,00€ will be.

Of which as follows:

In each case 754,50€ in the 3 dividend ETFS = 2.263,50€

• iShares STOXX Global Select Dividend 100 (Dist) - 754,50 €
• SPDR S&P Global Dividend Aristocrats (Dist) - 754,50 €
• Vanguard FTSE All-World High Dividend Yield (Dist) - 754,50 €

The others 2.263,50€ will be invested as follows

• UBS MSCI USA Socially Responsible (Acc) - 1.131,75 €
• iShares MSCI Europe SRI EUR (Acc) - 679,05 €
• iShares Automation & Robotics (Acc) - 226,35 €
• iShares MSCI Emerging Markets SRI (Acc) - 113,18 €
• UBS MSCI Pacific Socially Responsible (Acc) - 113,18 €

We have a monthly savings plan of €300 which we divide up like this:

• iShares STOXX Global Select Dividend 100 (Dist) - 50,00 €
• SPDR S&P Global Dividend Aristocrats (Dist) - 50,00 €
• Vanguard FTSE All-World High Dividend Yield (Dist) - 50,00 €

• UBS MSCI USA Socially Responsible (Acc) - 75,00 €
• iShares MSCI Europe SRI EUR (Acc) - 45,00 €
• iShares Automation & Robotics (Acc) - 15,00 €
• iShares MSCI Emerging Markets SRI (Acc) - 7,50 €
• UBS MSCI Pacific Socially Responsible (Acc) - 7,50 €

So I am very satisfied. Are there others here who have an ETF portfolio in terms of accumulating and distributing?

PS: It is a sample portfolio for illustration purposes. I haven't invested yet or took about 1000€ profits from World and Paypal on Friday :)

Portfolio feedback

Hey guys,

I've been working intensively with ETFs over the last week and wanted to start my first portfolio (I'm 19 in Austria) and would like to get your opinion on it.

My idea was a portfolio with high diversification and a sector bet on AI & Cyber Security, but I'm not sure if I shouldn't keep everything simple and combine some ETFs with an All World ETF $VWCE (-0.62%) + only one sector bet to keep the TER low.

e.g. like this: $VWCE 75% $ISPY 10% $MEUD 10% $WSML 5% opinion?

I am very convinced of the tech sector, but with the current bull market in $NVDA (+2.32%) and Co I feel tempted to wait and see.

I am also undecided whether I should buy all ETFs accumulating or distributing to save taxes.

I would be happy about optimization suggestions to simply create a perfect portfolio according to my idea.

I wanted to share my portfolio and get some opinions.

I am pursuing a core satellite strategy. The main anchor should be the FTSE All World and the Global quality income ETF.

Until recently I also held an Emerging Markets ETF which I threw out due to its poor performance.

The BIT Global Internet Leaders, S&P China 500 and Tencent are also to be removed from the portfolio.

Currently the $VWRL (-0.56%) is currently being saved with €1,000 per month and around €500 in individual securities in order to achieve a cost value of around €2,500 per security.

I also save every 3 months for the $RBOT (-0.48%) with €300.

Depending on the available capital, the $FGEQ (-0.67%) or currently the $IEMB (-0.19%) is saved.

The aim is to increase the current approx. 75% in ETFs to 80%.

I am very keen on distributions, as these have a psychological effect and I am not planning to sell the shares in the long term, so I would like to receive higher personal dividend yields in the future with my initial investment.

Hi folks,

I've been investing in ETFs since April 2020 and have always been very happy with them. The Core MSCI is doing what it should and the EM IMI is also slowly coming along, but I have paused the savings plan here due to a lack of performance. I included the gaming ETF as a test candidate at the time, but it is no longer being saved. The same applies to the smallest position, the $BLUE (-1.17%) .

Savings plans are therefore currently only running on Robotics and Core MSCI, as I see the greatest returns here.

What do you think of my portfolio? How do you see the future of EM IMI? In the long term, which is of course also quite boring, I'm betting on the Core and Robotics, but the EM IMI is positively quite large. I had thought about switching to the other 2.

Investment decision savings plan

I currently save $NVDA (+2.32%)
$XDWD (-0.4%)
$RBOT (-0.48%) in a savings plan every month. At Deutsche Bank, this would only be executed again on January 20...

In view of the current prices, would you save extraordinarily for these stocks now or in the next few days by making a special payment, or would you simply let the savings plan run its course?

Does that really make sense or not?
