I have Shopify in my portfolio to cover the e-commerce sector. Commerce is shifting more and more to online business. Small and medium-sized enterprises in particular are often dependent on Shopify because they don't have the resources to program their stores themselves. SMEs have also been benefiting for years from the fact that consumers are paying more attention to social and ecological factors when making purchases and are choosing products from smaller companies more often than before. One risk, of course, is that inflation is too high, as people will then live more frugally again. Over a longer period of time, the number of start-ups is increasing and these are all potential customers for Shopify.
