I would even say that gold holders and investors should take a look at the petition. There is a significant risk that, once the holding period for BTC ends, other assets (such as gold) will also be taxed in the same way as stocks and other securities. Prof. Rieck has made an interesting video on this topic.

I’d much rather have a completely new and fair tax system for all levels of income, but you take what you can get. I’ve signed the petition!
With this crazy idea from the SPD, I’m not just dreading the tax itself, but above all the bureaucracy that our esteemed finance minister would create with it.
