I am currently in the process of buying a property and now need €70,000 from the deposit.

I'm now wondering what I should sell. I have some losers in my portfolio that I should actually sell, but it feels strange to realize all the losses.

I'm also thinking about the subsequent weighting of stocks that are performing well (such as $GOOGL (-3,64 %) for example), which would increase considerably if I withdrew the €70,000.

My first thoughts would be stocks like $MC (+1,25 %)
$UNH (+1,85 %)
$WSIL (-4,06 %)
$NVDA (-2,25 %)
$COPX (-3,91 %)
$CSPX (-0,38 %) and parts of the $IWDA (-0,45 %) to sell.

I am looking forward to your opinions!

Following the current price drop, I have started to add silver to my portfolio $WSIL (-4,06 %) . The whole thing is based on a savings plan and is the start of a long-term investment. I am aware that the market is currently quite volatile, but I had planned to enter the market sooner or later anyway. Before I hesitate any longer, I'd rather start now and can adjust the buy-in downwards with further tranches if necessary.

Since I somehow didn't get in during the first run, I have now entered with tranche 1/3. I would invest the next two tranches at 60$ and 45$

I decided today to sell part of my position in order to take the tax-free $WSIL (-4,06 %) position today in order to take the tax-free profits.

Depending on the size of any future setbacks, I will increase my position again.

How are you currently dealing with your "price gains" in silver?

Who would have thought that silver would outperform my entire portfolio in just 1.5 months?

It had long been superfluous to add commodities to my portfolio, @Multibagger then convinced me with his contributions and finally hit the low quite happily.

I'm currently setting up a junior custody account for my older son and I'm not sure whether I should put 100% into the $VWCE (-0,51 %) or 70-80% $VWCE (-0,51 %) + X via a monthly savings plan.

As X I could think of $BTC (-0,86 %) / $WGLD (-2,17 %) / $WSIL (-4,06 %) or also $EIMI (-1,73 %) or $ZPRX (+0,21 %) in order to be more broadly positioned.

My favorite would be 70% $VWCE (-0,51 %) + 15% $WGLD (-2,17 %) +15% $BTC (-0,86 %).

How did you handle this with your junior portfolios? I would appreciate your recommendation / assessment.

I have already looked into the advantages and disadvantages of accumulating and distributing ETFs and have decided in favor of the accumulating ETF. The dividends would be too low for automatic reinvestment and my objective is to avoid fees and taxes in addition to minimizing the effort involved in managing the custody account. Using NV, it may also be possible to reallocate once or for the first time after 8-10 years in order to take the profits tax-free.

My silver ETC $WSIL (-4,06 %) has fallen back to its purchase price today.

You would think that gold and silver would be the anchor of stability in the portfolio.
