... and that was almost certainly the last one of the year.

As announced, a short post about the last two (actually only one was planned, but what does the world cost😅) purchases I made this year.

I ordered today, in my usual entry-level sizes in total:

13x $NPN (+3,17 %)

and

27x $CHWY (-0,39 %)

For those who don't know Naspers: a South African holding company that, through its majority-owned subsidiary $PRX (+3,31 %) significant shares in, among others $700 (+2,98 %) , $DHER (-0,08 %) and $MMYT (+0,35 %) among others. It also has an extensive investment portfolio in South Africa. The corporate structure is well established (anyone interested in international corporate law or ways to successfully counter hostile takeovers should really take a look at it😅), but above all, in my view, the company holds predominantly strong investments and only invests very selectively in new investments. The shareholder return is excellent! Since direct investments in China and India are otherwise usually difficult or even impossible and I would rather entrust my money to a South African holding company that is over 100 years old than to major American banks (no hate, just healthy skepticism about ADRs and the like), my choice fell on Naspers.

Just this much about Chewy: in my view, a tempting entry valuation. Strong in the pet food market in the USA across all price segments, online trading, subscription model with a (again) significantly growing number of users. My Everyday pet supplement to $ZTS (+1,18 %) quasi.

Maybe also something for @Max095 😉.

My next post will certainly not follow until the end of the week (i.e. not until 2026😳) on my targeted increases in my existing portfolio values, so I wish you all a good start to the new year, stay healthy and active here or get yourself to become active, that can only bring us all forward here.

In the spirit of our dear @Tenbagger2024 it means #gemeinsammehrerreichen 😘

So see you at dahin✌🏻

$700 (+2,98 %)

Approval for several new online games in China boosts the shares of Dutch investor Prosus.

$PRX (+3,31 %)

The shares of the company, which according to LSEG data holds a 23 percent in the Chinese technology group Tencent climbed a good five percent on the Amsterdam stock exchange.

Tencent, whose activities include the development of online games, also closed almost five percent higher in Hong Kong. Rivals such as Baidu, NetEase and Kingnet Network closed between just under one and over six percent higher. According to China's Press and Publications Bureau, 127 Chinese and seven imported online games were approved in July.

Since the beginning of the year, analysts have lowered their profit estimates for the 50 largest listed companies in Europe by almost four percent. This is according to data from the financial specialist Bloomberg.

One of the main reasons for this is the tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump Trump and the associated uncertainty. Tariffs make products more expensive, making them less affordable for end customers. In addition, the recent euro exchange rate against the dollar is affecting companies. This makes products sold in the dollar zone more expensive and less competitive. In addition, turnover and profits are reduced as soon as companies convert their dollar earnings into euros and report them on their balance sheets.

But there are exceptions. For five companies in the European Stoxx 50 share index, analysts have increased their profit forecasts for the current financial year by at least five percent since the beginning of the year. by at least five percent - for one group by as much as 15 percent.

Handelsblatt profiles the shares of these companies with a view to their business prospects, their stock market valuation and their share price potential.

Prosus NV- The Tencent Play

Prosus NV is a Dutch technology investment company founded in 2019 through the spin-off from South African media group Naspers. The company focuses on investing in high-growth technology companies, with a particular focus on e-commerce, online classifieds, fintech and education technology.

Historical development

Prosus was born out of Naspers' strategic goal to bundle its international internet holdings into a stand-alone company. The IPO in 2019 on Euronext in Amsterdam catapulted Prosus to become the largest listed technology company in Europe.

Business model and core competencies

Prosus' business model is based on long-term investments in promising technology companies. The company's core competence lies in identifying, supporting and scaling innovative business models. In addition to capital, Prosus also provides its investments with expertise and access to a global network.

The most important investments include

• Tencent: Leading technology company in China
• Delivery Hero: Global provider of food delivery services
• PayU: Fintech company for payment solutions
• OLX Group: International platform for classified ads

(Here is a picture that Getquin does not want to accept)

Future prospects and strategic initiatives

Prosus continues to focus on high-growth markets, particularly in Asia and Latin America. The focus is on high-potential sectors such as e-commerce, fintech and edtech. A key strategic measure is the ongoing share buyback program, which aims to reduce the discount between the stock market value and the intrinsic value of the investments.

Market position and competition

As one of the world's largest technology investment companies, Prosus is in direct competition with other global technology giants such as $9984 (+1,31 %) . However, the company has a clear competitive advantage due to its strong presence in emerging markets and its broad geographic focus.

Total Addressable Market (TAM)

Prosus' addressable market (TAM) is huge, as the company is active in various industries and regions. The global e-commerce market is expected to reach USD 16.6 trillion by 2027. The fintech industry is forecast to reach a market volume of 699 billion US dollars by 2030.

Share performance

Since its launch, the Prosus share has recorded a volatile but overall positive performance. In the last 12 months, the TR was 45%, while the TR over three years is 17.1%. .

Despite the growth, the share continues to trade at a significant discount to its net asset value. The current market capitalization of around €90 billion is approximately 20% below the value of the holdings, offering a potentially attractive opportunity for value investors.

$PRX (+3,31 %)
$700 (+2,98 %)
$DHER (-0,08 %)
$NPN

A question for the specialist staff.

How do I get "incorrect transactions" deleted or how can I write them off? Both have a value of zero. I have tried with one of them. Securities $PRX (+3,31 %) A whole 0.00000000408 shares should be removed.

The value was in my TR custody account, but when I address this, getquin warns me not to do this. In addition, a value greater than zero is required, but the stuff is in there with zero. I can't check it right now 😆

Many thanks in advance and a happy new year to everyone!
