Another tough morning in the pre-market: deep red across global indices, heavy volatility, and a lot of panic selling.
My own portfolio hasn’t been immune — the past two weeks have brought a meaningful pullback, and I’m currently looking at my largest single-month drawdown ever, around −5%.
The same weakness shows up on my other accounts (Directa, T212)… and the crypto segment is suffering even more.
But here’s the important part:
📊 When you zoom out, the narrative changes.
If we look only at the last few days, everything looks bad.
If we look at the last few weeks, it still doesn’t look great.
But if we zoom out to the last 6 months, suddenly things make a lot more sense.
As the chart shows, my portfolio has outperformed the major market benchmarks over the mid-term horizon — including the S&P 500, the Nasdaq 100, and Bitcoin.
📈 6-month performance (as of November 2025)
* My portfolio: +18.06%
* S&P 500: +11.28%
* Nasdaq 100: +13.67%
* BTC: −17.17%
📈 Full-year context (YTD)
Even with the current correction, 2025 remains a very solid year:
* My YTD performance: +49.80%
* S&P 500 YTD: +17.00%
That’s nearly 3× the benchmark — achieved through structure, diversification, and discipline.
These numbers reflect a key point:
A well-structured, diversified approach doesn’t crumble because of a bad week or a bad month.
💡 The lesson? Don’t let short-term noise dictate long-term decisions.
Periods of market stress, profit-taking, and repositioning are normal.
They happen every year — often multiple times.
Selling in panic is usually the worst possible move.
When the market is shaky, what matters is:
* A solid strategy
* Consistent risk management
* Patience
* Long-term conviction
In the end, temporary volatility is just that: temporary.
Performance is built over *months and years*, not days.
I’m attaching the 6-month comparison vs major benchmarks
Stay focused, stay rational, and trust the process.
Volatility creates opportunities — panic destroys them.
