Portfolio update this is how I start 2026

Sooooo it's time for another portfolio update.

Over the last few years, I have noticed that my long therm target of 20% pa is becoming increasingly difficult to achieve as the size of my portfolio increases, because more and more money is flowing into "safe" ETFs. Nevertheless, with my top picks 2025 $RKLB (+2,46%)
$KSB (+0,5%)
$NU (-0,13%) and $GOOGL (+1,18%) very satisfied. However, all 4 are at ATH or just below, which could make things a bit volatile in the short term. Nevertheless, I assume that all 4 will be higher at the end of the year than they are now.

My aim this year is to increase my exposure to small/mid caps. I already made a start last year, $KSB (+0,5%) has already done quite well, stocks like $P4O (-1,64%)
$GFT (+3,53%)
$SBMO (+1,74%) and $OSIS (+0%) are to be held, but no major additional purchases are planned there for the time being.

The downward positions in Samsung are all part of my 212 trading pies, divided into 3 different pies. Since mid-August, the pies have gained 21.6%. Meanwhile the total value of my 212 investments is 9600€. These are saved monthly with a total of €500 plus one-off payments from time to time.

Apart from that, there are only 2 three-month savings plans with 1.5k each on the $VWRL (+0,64%) and $TDIV (-0,05%)

In addition, there are still around 60k in various orders, but these are all turnaround bets with short-term targets of between 8% and 12%

In the long term, I will keep my eyes and ears open to find new pearls.

It's amazing to see how you've developed. First with a few thousand before the financial crisis and now just over a million ✅ How old are you, if you don't mind me asking 🙈😅

@Klein-Anleger I'll be 39 this year. I started at about your age. The portfolio view here is, of course, a little bit depleted as I was only able to enter the positions I still held from 2004 - approx. 2018/19.

@Klein-Anleger I say yes. You'll become a millionaire. But stay on the carpet.

I was just looking for your split portfolio yesterday because I was interested in your daily and weekly performance (in absolute figures). It's amazing what happens with that volume! 👍

@ehrlichergauner but the week was quite volatile on the upside 😀

@Iwamoto I have described where they come from in the post below. I have a total of 38 positions in my 3 pies, some like Alphabet, Rocket Lab etc are also in my main portfolio. So there are actually 29 stock positions and 5 ETFs 😀

@Hotte1909 too bad you fell into the Pies bias 🪤. Well, maybe you can see it as a hobby on the side. 😇

@Iwamoto Yes, you could actually call it a pure hobby. Even if the pies all double, it hardly has any effect on my overall portfolio. However, I can of course also test my overall strategy on a small scale. Do my analyses work the way I want them to? Does the broad diversification possibly even perform better than my main portfolio where I concentrate on a few selected satellites?
I also have to say that even after more than 20 years, I have never lost my enthusiasm for the stock market.

Congratulations Patrick, it looks great. It went from 1 million to almost 1.3 really quickly.

@Alfred16 yes, the fact that rocket lab, nu and KSB have finally caught fire has meant that things have moved pretty quickly and there have hardly been any acquisitions since the last update

Why do you have so many small positions?

@RenditeRudin is described in the post pretty much below. These are my 3 pies, their total value is around 9.6k. Here they are stored as individual positions in individual portfolios. Unfortunately, there is no other way to represent this
