I sold my previous satellite holdings—an IT ETF and a healthcare ETF—and reallocated part of the proceeds to my core portfolio. The rest went into the Community Wikifolios:
3xGTAA from @Epi
$DE000LS9U6W1 (-4,65%) - approx. 40k
US Momentum Leaders of @Krush82
$DE000LS9VVV3 (+0,72%) - 5k
Global Momentum Leaders from @Krush82
$19021982 (-2,02%) - 5k
While 3xGTAA doesn’t fluctuate all that much, we’re already seeing significantly higher volatility with the Momentum Leaders. But that’s actually the intended effect—even if we’ve seen some downward volatility so far.
Due to the recent swap of my last small $ETH (+0,84%) position in $BTC (-0,46%) , my satellite portfolio is now complete. In total, my satellites now account for 30% of my publicly viewable portfolio on getquin. Going forward, I’ll only be actively adding to the Core (though individual purchases in the Wikifolios aren’t ruled out). The satellites are tasked with compensating for the missing savings rate through higher returns (come on, Satoshi Nakamoto, @Epi and @Krush82 ).
I feel pretty comfortable with this setup. The satellite portfolios are “unconventional” enough to potentially generate significant excess returns. Their share is large enough to have a significant impact on the portfolio. The positions are low-maintenance; I don’t have to worry about a thing. At the same time, I can handle it if all the satellites drop to 0.
What do you think—will the Wikifolios (about a 9% share of the portfolio) eventually catch up to my Bitcoin (about 21%), or will Bitcoin remain king?
