FOMO/Watchlist

Greetings.

I'm currently somewhat liquid again and looking around for opportunities.

The FOMO has really hit me hard and is making me very unhappy. But I'm sure a few more opportunities will come up.

Why?

I've been on the stock market since 04/2024 (very short-term) and have had a few companies on my radar since then. On the one hand $HIMS (-26,15%) which I was advised against by some analyses (price at around €13)

Then it was $1810 (+2,88%) Xiaomi at €2.80

I bought a cell phone from Xiaomi 3 years ago and was more than impressed. But I didn't buy it because I read that it was stupid to invest in Chinese companies.

At $PLTR (-3,33%) I waited for a correction at €17 and then unfortunately missed the train completely and lost sight of it.

The last one was $RKT RocketLab, which I took a look at at €10. I assumed that they had no future here, as Space X would take over the market as a more than major competitor.

$MC (+0,4%) I actually missed out on this too, as the share price rose faster than I would have liked.

I was on the verge of investing in all 5 and blocked myself from doing so. That's why it really hurts to see other people's returns and not have done it. (I wish everyone here all the best) That's what the community is for.

The pain will remain, but I am currently looking to the future.

My current watchlist consists of:

$AMD (-2,29%) I am still waiting for a bottom to form here. But I don't think it will fall significantly. With the new Playstation and the huge demand that Nvidia cannot meet on its own and the decreasing competition from Intel, I think it is very interesting.

Target price to buy/tranche at €105 or €115, depending on how it develops.

$GRAB (+1,66%) I wanted to get in here a few days ago and suddenly the +15% came.

In my opinion, it has a lot of potential and is very well known in certain regions. Competition is also limited and Uber is not interested in the market.

Target price to buy/tranche at 5€

$RKLB (-6,21%) will hopefully come back to €20. That's where I would get in. I see a lot of opportunities for Space in the long term, as it could be a future trend.

$MELI (-4,31%) If it corrects again and at $NU (-11,11%) I am currently waiting again.

Also exciting is $SUNN (-2,87%) or $BABA (+5,86%)

What is your opinion? And what is on your watchlist and when would you buy? I find what you have on your radar pretty exciting at the moment.

Why do you mourn after avoidable wins? Not having the balls at the time and simply standing by it. It also annoys me enormously how everyone cries foul over a few euros as if financial freedom were just around the corner. Realize and invest, cry again when prices fall and then say "luckily I didn't invest" 😂👏

How do you not get tired of this?

I bought AMD $AMD yesterday, Hims & Hers $HIMS I made a partial sale to hopefully get in a bit cheaper. Nu $NU I would buy immediately

I bought BigBear.AI $BBAI a few days ago.
Maybe it would be something for you? Please form your own opinion and assess the risk
These are experiences that you still have to and will gain.

And while you are mourning now and think you have missed the big opportunities, most of your "missed opportunities shares" will be much higher in a year's time and you can post the same article again. $1810 currently feels like it is growing every day. $HIMS may soon topple, but it may also continue to run irrationally.

$MC you can never go wrong ... etc

Wait less, invest more.

You don't make any money with your watchlist. Anyone can have interesting stocks on their list and then say, crap, now Grab is up 15% without me.

Get in there!
Just open small positions then keep DCAing, but anyway all good there will always be opportunities. check this one $NBIS
You don't have to buy all the shares that are exciting, because it's better to build a big position in a couple of shares then just buy many different shares in small percentage then you won't make alot

And how many shares have you "looked at" that are now in the basement?

I held $MMM for a long time & sold just before the recovery.
$LMT I also sold shortly before the rise... but hey... now they're even lower.
$BTC I caught it well.
$NVDA I would have bought at the perfect time, but had seen more potential elsewhere.
$VAR1 I had it on my radar... 4 months later .... -100%... fortunately not bought.

The list is long & I've only been investing for 2 years.
Opportunities come every day & sometimes it's good to stay away from them.
If you look at the past it's easier... but who cares? The past is the past.

$NOVO B I think it's very attractive at the moment, maybe take a look at it. (No investment advice)

$RKLB will no longer fall to €20. Earnings are next week, Neutron in summer/fall.
Maybe $NBIS or $HITI is something for you.
@Shiya Depending on how earnings turn out. I think there will be a decent sideways phase after the boost, as the hype was pretty big and the new rocket is still a mass product/if it is marketable compared to the huge competition
