Diversify your portfolio more broadly?

Hi there ✌🏽,

My portfolio currently has a "significant" amount of AI and tech stocks.

Now I've decided to add a counterbalance to my portfolio.

But I haven’t found the right stock yet—or rather, I haven’t been able to make up my mind.

I’ve already considered stocks like $WM (+0,14 %) or $NESN (-1,68 %) . Or maybe a dividend ETF after all.

Do you have a “counterbalance” in your portfolio? If so, which one?

Thanks a lot

I'm happy with Nesn, but I'll have to sell it for 81.- in November unless the price drops again.

In the “worst-case scenario,” I’ll still have 60% of the position and can use put options to buy back the remaining 40% at my original cost. 😎

BTW—you can also just add the SMI to your portfolio. It’s historically performed absolutely top-notch.

What do you think of insurance companies like $CS $ALV $HELN $SREN? Or others like @GeldGenie, SMI, or $CHDVD?

@DiviDino95 I'm a big fan of $HELN AND $SREN ❤️ I have a very small position in $CHDVD (< 1%) as a reminder to buy the individual stocks 😂

Regardless of the current level: $KO Otherwise, attractive options right now: $MCD or potential long-term performers like $SYK, $LOW, or even $CTAS (though that one has already performed well again). What do you think of $LIN? In addition to the insurers mentioned: $HNR1. I can also recommend the $TDIV as a dividend ETF. It’s a bit finance-heavy, but it has less U.S. exposure and fewer general overlaps.

If you're looking for a dividend ETF, then $LDGL or $TDIV are definitely worth considering.

When it comes to individual dividend-paying stocks, there are truly almost endless good possibilities and options.

Waste management isn’t a bad choice by any means, but I’ve opted for the European company Veolia $VIE (waste management, recycling, wastewater, water treatment, water sales).

@NichtRelevant That doesn't sound bad either. I already have quite a bit of U.S. content on here anyway. I'll check it out. Thanks 👍🏽

$WM And $NESN —both in my portfolio, and I'm super happy.
If the price drops, I'll buy more—practically without even thinking about it!
