Hi, somewhere in the feed there was a story...
It was about which listed companies you come into contact with in everyday life.
Somehow that appealed to me, and I thought to myself, that would be something where I could actively participate....
So....
After the morning bath visit with among other things products of $UN or $PG (-1,94 %) are used, comes directly already a hot drink from $NESTS.
Then I pack my service laptop of $HPQ (+0,45 %) with $INTC (+1,29 %) inside, as well as my tablet and cell phone $SMSD (-0,89 %) and $AAPL (+2,87 %) in the bag and make me on the way.
Then I realize schei.... what forgotten, and run back to the bathroom again and mount my wristwatch from $UHRN (+2,41 %) and the glasses from $FIE (-0,48 %)
The way to work I do relatively comfortably in a $F (-1,21 %), the ride is secured by $ALV (+0,8 %).
On the way I get me depending on my mood still a croissant from $ARZTY. On the about 50km long distance on the highway I meet of course all other manufacturers $BMW (+0,81 %)
$VOW3 (+0,29 %)
$DTG (+3,7 %)
$MBG (-2,54 %)
$N/A and in Switzerland drive relatively many $TSLA (+6,49 %) and of course many more...
Shortly before I then in my Bude $CARL A (-0,85 %) arrive, I still drive at the headquarters of $ROG (-0,68 %) and $NOVN (+0,21 %) headquarters...
When I arrive at the desk, I see the keyboard of $LOGN (+0,79 %) ...
How should it be different na of course we work with $SAP (+2,96 %).
So that I do not freeze runs in the Bude ne heating from $MTG (+1,72 %)
After I have worked hard, my hands need a break and a bit of care $BEI (+3,44 %).
I look then with pleasure also times in my depot which does itself at the stock market so $CBK (-1,28 %).
Every now and then I have to do some research. $GOOG (+0,98 %). Our IT runs of course not without $CSCO. (+0,97 %)
During the break I like to have a drink with colleagues $PEP (-0,84 %) with colleagues, or we serve ourselves on the 2nd floor $SCHP (-0,16 %) at the inhouse vending machine of $SBUX (+0,07 %).
After the coffee a visit to the toilet may not be missing, surely pipes of $GEBN (+1,62 %) installed.
Professionally I call a lot, our provider $SCMN (-1,41 %)
Not directly in my job, but in the gaff drive insanely many devices from $JUN3 (+1,99 %) and $KGX (+5,89 %) which I can observe from the break room.
In my department we also have many products from $MMM (+0,41 %) in use.
In the afternoons, I test products and their flow properties from $DGE as part of my job. In the past, I also tested $BUD products, but we stopped working together.
On the way home I fill up with gas at $SHEL (+1,02 %) and because life is so good, I get a little cash at $CSGN
Oh yes I forgot to mention my shoes from $ADS (+1,79 %) on which I am comfortable all day on the road ...
Well, and when I'm back home, my wife has me a little luck something delicious from $GIS (-1,17 %) maybe even with a sauce from $KHC (-1,09 %) cooked...
With a little less luck she shows me the latest purchases made by you at$AMZN (+1,14 %) :-)
Then I go to the basement and start the washing machine from $VZUG with products from $HEN (+1,03 %)
To the end of the day I treat myself then if necessary still a cool $KO (-1,76 %) ....
So far a little insight...
I hope you could follow me :-) Surely still forgotten many companies with which I am in daily contact...
Thanks for the comment with the $ have that still adjusted and the one or other company which I still thought of added...
Greetings Jo
Now also a stock exchange traded everyday life from the view of a gynecologist.
When I get up in the morning, I first take my Dreamlens from MPG&E out of my eyes. These are hard contact lenses that you have to wear at night and then during the day WITHOUT ANYTHING have a visual acuity of 110% (in my case). I usually have minus 5.5 - and glasses and mask - you know the fuss. Unfortunately, I have found no share at all, but still did not want to withhold MY discovery of 2021.
But now really further... with my $MBG (-2,54 %) V-Class I drive half an hour to the MVZ practice in Berlin-Lichtenberg.
Arrived there my consultation nurse already has the $DELL PC and my bluetooth $LOGN (+0,79 %) Keyboard + mouse up.
My ultrasound machine is leased from $SMSD (-0,89 %) Samsung and makes really good pictures. I love ultrasound almost as much as laparoscopy, but since currently only the former is possible in the outpatient area, I greet my sono every morning with a hug.
My gynecological chair and colposcope manufacturers (the lamp for the gynecological examination) have unfortunately not yet made it to the stock market; but I have a sharp view thanks to the table microscope from the good Carl Zeiß. $AFX. (+0,38 %)
To get results from the examination, smear systems are needed. One of them is the "ThinPrep" a fine rubber brush, manufactured by Hologic $HOLX (+0 %) and is said to be particularly good at finding precancerous lesions.
Then it's on to the medications, because you have to deal with the pharmaceutical industry here, the range of contraceptives alone is almost endless, closely followed by the little helpers in the menopause.
The Gardasil vaccine against cervical cancer is manufactured by Sanofi-Pasteur. $SAN (+1,12 %) manufactured. If I have a choice in creams and tinctures, I like to use German manufacturers like e.g. $BAYN (+3,44 %) (Bayer / Jenapharm) and I often tell the patients that there is not ALWAYS something from Ratiopharm $TEVA (-0,93 %) and that many complaints should first be tackled with lifestyle changes.
That's it for now - thanks for the attention!
Companies traded on the stock exchange in everyday professional life
Since I am @Simpson nominated, I now grant an insight into listed companies in my daily professional life.
Briefly about me: I am a mathematician and work in the semiconductor industry in a listed company.
Starting with the software: pretty much all computers in the office run Windows and Office from $MSFT (+1,09 %). The PC's and the monitors themselves are all from $HPQ (+0,45 %) with keyboard and mouse from $LOGN (+0,79 %). The telephone system is WebEx from $CSCO (+0,97 %) and the work phones are from $AAPL (+2,87 %) with $DTE (-1,29 %) contract (and that although next door $VOD (-2,16 %) sits). In addition, there are large monitors in each conference room from $DELL (+0,14 %).
In the production of the semiconductors itself there are of course many machines from $ASML (+4,37 %), $CAJ (+2,03 %) and $7731 (+0,72 %). The many industrial gases needed come from $LIN , $AI (+1,56 %) and $4091 (+3,8 %). The basic material and chemicals come among others also from $WCH (+2,46 %) and $BAS (+2,29 %).
The purchasers of the finished chips then include, for example. $VOW3 (+0,29 %) , $BMW (+0,81 %) , $MBG (-2,54 %) and $TM (+3,13 %). But also $V (-1,68 %), $AAPL (+2,87 %) and $SMSD (-0,89 %) are customers.
I have certainly forgotten a lot, but as an insight it should be enough I think.
I nominate @DonkeyInvestor , @GoDividend and @Divmann (sorry if someone has already been nominated, I don't have an overview anymore).
Thanks to the @Der_Dividenden_Monteur for the nomination in the series Exchange-traded companies in everyday professional life.
I (still) work in the construction industry for Deutsche Bahn. 🛤
My typical workday starts with a walk to the company car, a $F (-1,21 %). If I'm not talking on my employer's $SMSD (-0,89 %) cell phone ☎️ of my employer, I like to listen to podcasts or audiobooks about $SPOT (+4,21 %). However, this is only via my personal phone from $AAPL (+2,87 %). 📱
Since the distances to the railroad construction sites in Germany can be very long, I have to refuel every now and then, of course. With the fuel card it goes then to Aral, which as you know a company of the $BP (+0,34 %) is. Recently, however, one can also fill up at $TTE (+1,22 %) fill up. ⛽️
Work equipment includes the $TOSYY laptop 💻 and Office365 from $MSFT (+1,09 %) 📧. On the construction site itself, of course, the personal protective equipment (PPE), partly from $MMM (+0,41 %), cannot be missing. 🦺
My job is to coordinate the various companies on large construction sites. The rails come from $VOS (-0,53 %), the signaling technology from $SIE (+2,2 %) or $HO (+1,33 %), $HON (+0,31 %) manufactures track vacancy detection systems, to name just a few examples. All kinds of construction companies are of course also bustling about on the construction sites: e.g..$STR (-0,39 %), $BFLBY or $HOT (+1,53 %).
For a good coffee ☕️ or a burger 🍔 it goes now and then to $MCD (+0,17 %)if there is a branch in the vicinity. Unfortunately, it is all too often the gas station Bockwurst or the brought stulle. If the workday is really long, it also goes times in the supermarket to a can of $SBUX (+0,07 %) or $MNST (-1,42 %) to buy.
I nominate @godividend and @tim1 in the hope that they haven't had their turn yet.
