2nd Fed to raise key interest rate further

To combat high inflation, the U.S. Federal Reserve will raise its key interest rate for the second time to an exceptionally high level. The Federal Reserve (Fed) will publish its decision on the future direction of its monetary policy on Wednesday (20:00 CEST). It is expected that the key interest rates will rise again by 0.75 percentage points to a range of 2.25 to 2.5 percent.
