UBS Lowers Price Target / IBM Earnings
$SAP (-0,71 %) UBS has lowered its price target for SAP from €205 to €164 but maintained its “buy” rating. Naturally, this has sent the stock price plummeting once again, whereas the occasionally positive analyst reports previously failed to garner any interest and did not trigger any significant, sustained price increases.
I’m curious to see the numbers. It’s about time management started delivering something other than fines and acquisitions, which the market tends to view as rather unnecessary.
Let’s see if the stock holds at €130 today—I’ve posted my thoughts on this stock many times before and had hoped I’d be proven wrong. It’s sad for everyone who bought at €200 or higher.
P.S.: It’s probably mainly due to today’s very poor IBM results. Do you think SAP will report better numbers?
Walldorf Dip
Why should I care about what I said yesterday?
70 percent of my portfolio is $NVDA (-0,9 %) —I’ve never really cared about that before. “I’ll hold onto this at least until 2030” was my motto. Because I consider it one of the best stocks in the world.
And what did I do yesterday? I sold 20 percent of the position and added three new stocks to my portfolio: $SAP (-0,71 %)
$UCG (+0,82 %)
$MUFG (+0,51 %)
Why?
Because I think the risk is too high that meme stocks like SpaceX will first suck up all the money and then cause the bubble (which we’ve identified) to burst in a way that drags down fundamentally sound stocks as well.
And because I’m too old for that kind of crap: diversify.
Sure, the concentration is still huge, but it’s a start. If the madness on the stock market continues to drive the herd, I’ll keep selling off NVIDIA, but not everything. I’ll keep 40 percent.
I actually wanted to pick up something in the healthcare sector, but couldn’t find anything attractive.
In the healthcare sector, maybe Stryker. It's a good compounder. And it's currently relatively undervalued.
Should I hold onto SAP or reallocate my investments?
Hi everyone,
I'm currently thinking about selling my SAP shares and $VWCE (-0,33 %) , since SAP has been a real drag on my portfolio’s performance over the last few weeks.
The loss allocation would also come in handy, since I’ve already used up my tax exemption allowance and am still expecting some dividends.
What are your thoughts on this?
Thank you very much!
In my opinion, companies will still be using SAP in 10 years—probably just in a different way. If you have that kind of time horizon, then don’t sell.
If you generally can’t handle price fluctuations in individual stocks, then sell them all and go all-in on an All World ETF.
Best regards
🧬 Dianthus Therapeutics: Welcome to the Portfolio
In addition to $SAP (-0,71 %) this month, $DNTH (-0,27 %) in my portfolio this month. I came across this U.S. company more by chance, and I see great potential, as the study results so far have been positive and potential future complement inhibitors could give the company a boost.
New Portfolio Member: SAP SE 🖥️💾📊
It had been on $SAP (-0,71 %) on my watchlist for quite some time. Instead of an impulse buy—which used to happen regularly—I wanted the purchase price to be under €150. And lo and behold: Now the time has come.
This is “thanks” to the currently somewhat declining cloud business (as the latest figures $ORCL (-0,51 %) ).
In the long term, however, cloud transformation and the increasing integration of AI solutions at $SAP (-0,71 %) provide a boost. That’s why I’m very optimistic.
I don’t plan to buy any more shares.
Reallocation
$NDA (+1,71 %) took partial profits and $SAP (-0,71 %) reallocated.
Selling price was: €200
