Rising transport costs by sea - another driver of inflation alongside the price of oil
Prices for container freight, solids and liquids by sea are already going through the roof again.
The demand for chartering container ships is currently on the rise.
Demand can hardly be met.
In my opinion, inflation will rise considerably and the interest rate level set by the Fed will be maintained, if not increased.
If interest rates are loosened, then there will be a super disaster.
PS: $MPCC (-1,1 %) MPC Container Ships ASA and $ZIM (-1,52 %) ZIM Integrated are also making good gains.
What does that mean? Invest anti-cyclically. In what, for example? - REITs. When? As soon as inflation and interest rates fall sustainably and persistently. Keywords: bottoming out and trend reversal.
Swarm knowledge: $MPCC (-1,1 %) MPC Container Ships ASA
Does anyone know why the value (which I even hold myself 😅) is going so steeply right now? I don't have any information.
Hi there,
I only recently became aware of $MPCC (-1,1 %) and bought my first shares today because the dividend is incredibly high. Now I'm asking myself why I shouldn't put all my cash into it with a 52% dividend.
Are there any risks apart from a price loss? And how does this enormous dividend come about?
As I am currently on sick leave and have nothing better to do, I will be attending the earning call of my problem child MPC Container via telephone switch on February 27th at around 09:00.
As there has been hardly any news worth mentioning for some time, my expectations regarding the much-loved dividend are rather subdued.
I will report back! 💰💸
Freed up more money for my oil share.
This means less speculation and a little more planning security.
