Wow, what a year... I'm speechless. 🤐

First and foremost, I’d like to thank to you—the folks at Getquin. Also, the comments, casual conversations and even the occasional constructive criticism, above
especially your posts have helpedform in my opinion , hybrid portfolio .

Lvl 180 – Milestone 🪨

In the beginning, it consisted mainly of dividend aristocrats and Kingswhose prime may already past . Through the encouragement from so many of you, I’ve listenedand reflected and decidedto focus more on the winners . Stocks that are in demand in demand, not the ones that used to were.

I like companies that are deeply entrenched in the system, including $MSFT (-0,97 %)
$MCD (+0,02 %)
$META (-0,98 %)
$UNH (-1,54 %)
$CME (+2,01 %) etc.

But I also love totally ordinary, simple businessesthat appeal to consumers extremely well. For me, these include $TJX (-1,18 %)
$AD (+1,43 %)
$MDLZ (-1,33 %)
$PEP (+1,38 %) and $MRK (+1,66 %) and again $MCD (+0,02 %) :)

For me, this year was the “Year of Rebalancing.”

My strategy is simple: I invest in sound companies whose stocks have taken a hit… mostly

In addition to the financial figures, which, of course, should be in order, I look at the dividend yield. If it’s historically particularly high and is the business still sound, it will be . I want to buy in at a low price and secure a high YoC . That company’s of the company should then take care of the rest.

Stocks with dividend growth can certainly deliver good price gains. Investors who dividend consistently significantly must also increase its profits and its cash flow increase increase.

Otherwise, at some point, more will be distributed than is earned.

If the company grows organically and also regularly buys back its own shares, these are good conditions for rising stock prices in the long term.

Be that as it may. I sold shares that I’d held for several years. Some were in the black, others, of course, in the red. I reinvested part of the proceeds into new companies.

I always say “scale up”...—no idea if that makes sense 😆

Goals?

I don’t know. I had goals. Now I just want to be better every day than I was yesterday.

Even if things don’t go so well one day, I’ll still stick with it. Even if it’s only 10%... 10% is better than 0%. The compound interest is a part of in life.

I also believethat there is happiness exists. But who works at it works at it every day increases the chanceof finding that one lucky day . Because it’s on that very day active on that very day.

You shape your own destiny!

And what I also find important :

Always be grateful, no matter what.

We’re lucky to be able to build a financial foundation. We must never take that for granted.

With that in mind! Stick with it, no matter what... Fighter’s instinct 🗻

TJX Companies is the world's largest off-price retailer of fashion, home goods, and everyday products for people and pets.

$TJX (-1,18 %) purchases surplus inventory, excess inventory etc. directly from brand manufacturers and designers at affordable prices. Often because these companies don’t
sell
sell in time. The manufacturers and designers have to constantly bring out new collections and don’t always have time to sell everything…

and that’s when TJX steps in.

Through bulk purchases and flexible contracts , TJX gets these brand-name products at a discounted
prices.

The savings are $TJX (-1,18 %) to the customers . In most cases, the products are 20% to 60% cheaper than the regular comparable prices.

That’s why TJX is always so affordable… and yes, the brand-name products there are genuine… you wouldn’t always think so given the prices, would you? 😄

The selection at $TJX (-1,18 %) is constantly changing. So always something new on offer.

The Treasure Hunt principle.

The Treasure Hunters keep coming back to check for a product to discover and snagbefore someone else snatches it up.

The early bird catches the worm.

I took this photo at TK Maxx myself yesterday and used AI to turn it into a comic to show how crowded it is there and how long the line at the register is.

Crazy

That’s business model works well in times of high inflation, because customers want to , and in times of low inflation, because consumers are once again are willing to spend more and still prefer to shop .

Win-win, right?

• Revenue growth: Approx. 6% to 8% annual average. Steadily rising
• Gross margin: on average 35% to 37%.
• Profit growth (net income): Approx. 10% to 15% on average, supported by operational efficiency.
• Return on equity is usually between 30% and over 50%. Very efficient.
• The dividend was in 2020 due to COVID-19 in 24 years of steady increases cut, as revenue has plummeted … which makes sense. Let’s briefly recall the FFP2 masks😷 Personally, I’m turning a blind eye to this because, after 2020, the dividend returned to the its previous level and has been steadily increased
• The average annual dividend growth over the last 20 years has been over 15%! Over the past 10 years, it has been approximately 15% to 16%. A true dividend compounder.
• The payout ratio is approximately 32% to 35%. Very healthy.

My thoughts on TJX:

Every time I walk through the stores, I’d love to buy everything , which means I want to buy the company. Which means I want to own the stock. 😋

$TJX (-1,18 %) It felt like never had the problem of customers rarely stopping by.

It’s always packed! Somehow, it always is!

There’s literally a traffic jam at the checkout counters. No matter where I look… the behavior of the customers. They don’t just shop and leave. They go to pass the time , spend their time there, and talk to each other, look at the products… and then buy something because they find something interesting at a good price. Or simply out of boredom?

Just brilliant.

From brand-name clothing to kitchen products, toys, furniture and household goods to electronics… simply everything.

Many would say that the stock is overvalued. But you could have seen that coming over the past 15 years time and again. Whenever people thought they’d suffered a drawdown was finally cheap , it was back well above the low.

So I figured I’d just jump in instead of just just watching…

You hear so little about $TJX (-1,18 %) and I think that’s a good thing. The company can deliver at a relaxed pace without constant fuss, headlines and anxiety.

By now, my opinion… when there’s there’s too much talking , one should be … aka $MCD (+0,02 %) recently. First, there’s a lot of talk, then comes the panic.

The P/E ratio for the stock is currently around 28. The average over the past few years is roughly >30.

My entry point was $TJX (-1,18 %) was around €109, at a P/E ratio of about 26.

Yes, for me, this is actually a bargain

Are you an investor in TJX? Are you thinking about becoming one? Or do you steer clear of the company? Let me know! 😄💪🏽

❗️Not a buy recommendation❗️

I've had this stock for for ages .

Do you have $TJX (-1,18 %) in your portfolio? Would you buy them or would you rather wait?

Many investors only ever look at the big, well-known names in the retail sector. In doing so, they sometimes overlook companies that have one of the most successful retail growth engines in Europe in the background. Just such a case is the 3i Group.

The name is not initially familiar to many private investors. But anyone who takes a closer look quickly realizes that behind this British investment company is an investment that is massively changing the European discount market - . Action.

What is the 3i Group actually?

The 3i Group is a British investment company based in London. The business model is relatively simple to explain:

• 3i invests in companies
• develops them operationally
• increases their value
• and benefits in the long term from dividends and valuations

Basically, it works like a private equity firm, except that it is listed on the stock exchange and any investor can buy shares.

The crucial point:

The majority of the company's value is now attached to a single success story.

And this is called action.

Action - Europe's growing non-food discounter

Action has become an integral part of everyday life for many consumers.

The concept is simple, but extremely effective:

• huge selection of non-food products
• constantly changing articles
• very low prices
• simple, efficient stores

The assortment ranges from:

• Household goods
• decoration
• tools
• toys
• Office supplies
• Craft items
• Small electronic parts

The pricing strategy is reminiscent of a mixture of:

• Specialty store
• Dollar store model
• Discount store efficiency

The result: extremely high customer frequency.

The expansion of Action

Action has been growing at an impressive rate for years.

The chain now operates over 2,500 stores in Europe and opens hundreds of new locations every year.

Growth is particularly strong in:

• Germany
• France and
• Spain
• Italy
• Eastern Europe

The market for low-cost non-food products is huge - and Action has built up a strong position here.

Many stores achieve high sales shortly after opening.

Why this is so important for 3i

The 3i Group holds a majority stake in Action.

This means

• A large proportion of Action's profits flow indirectly to 3i.
• The enterprise value of Action is a key factor in the valuation of 3i.

So you could say:

Anyone who buys 3i is indirectly investing primarily in Action.

Growth + cash flow

The interesting thing about Action is the combination of:

• strong growth
• high profitability at the same time

Many retail chains are growing fast but earning little money.

Action manages both.

The reasons:

Extremely simple store structure

high turnover rate of products

favorable purchasing structures

low marketing costs

Dividend - An additional factor

In addition to growth, the share also offers regular dividends.

The 3i Group has continuously increased its dividends in recent years.

This makes the share interesting for two groups of investors:

• Growth investors (because of action)
• Dividend investors (because of the distributions)

A combination that you don't find very often.

The current price decline

The share price has recently fallen significantly.

Such declines are often caused by:

• general market weakness
• profit-taking
• short-term valuation concerns

Fundamentally, however, little has changed in the story surrounding Action.

Long-term investors in particular often see such phases as an opportunity to build up or expand positions.

Why many investors underestimate the share

The main reason is simple:

Most people know Action, but not 3i.

As a result, many investors do not even have the share on their radar.

Yet there is a very clear logic behind the investment:

• fast-growing discounter
• Europe-wide expansion
• solid cash flows
• rising dividends

Conclusion

The 3i Group is an interesting example of how you can invest indirectly in one of Europe's most successful retailers.

With Action the company has a growth engine that is far from having reached the end of its expansion in European discount retail.

The current fall in the share price could therefore be a time for long-term investors to take a closer look at this business model.

The first acid test for my new derivatives strategy is today's figures from $TJX (-1,18 %) . Expectations were beaten.

Investing.com - TJX (NYSE: TJX) reported third quarter EPS of $1.28, $0.05 more than the analyst estimate of $1.23.

Revenue for the quarter totaled $15.1B, compared to average estimates of $14.84B.

Forecast

In the fourth quarter of 2026, TJX expects EPS of $1.33-$1.36. Analysts had expected an average of $1.37.
