I would be interested in your opinion on the healthcare sector ? I am currently toying with the idea of parking my cash in the $XDWH (-0.02%) in the health care sector. I believe that the healthcare sector has some catching up to do and if the stock market becomes more volatile, I think the healthcare sector will benefit. Even if it is perhaps only a short-term position, I expect a higher return here than on the call money account. I like the idea, especially as the market for slimming products should continue to grow strongly and $LLY (-0.02%) ubd $NOVO B (-1.27%) will benefit from this as a dominant player.

I agree with Kennedy and a few negative news items have hurt the sector.
I also see a need to catch up here.
There are some pearls in the sector in particular that can benefit enormously from AI research.
If you don't want to go pearl hunting, an ETF is of course an alternative.

I am also invested in $LLY with an 8% position and in $NOVO B with 5%. I definitely see considerable long-term growth there. I know both companies' bestsellers from a professional perspective. Eli Lilly's Mounjaro really works wonders.

In addition to weight loss, it significantly reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease.

The whole thing will get even better if, for example, the statutory health insurance companies in Germany extend the coverage of these drugs to include obesity. However, you would first have to realize that you may save money temporarily, but in the long term you will have to pay considerably more due to the considerable effects of obesity.

I have often seen that the laboratory values of patients, who of course also have to show compliance with a lifestyle change, have improved considerably. Triglycerides, cholesterol, Hba1c and many others have improved enormously in this patient.

Another factor is that morbidly obese people have to diet for the rest of their lives and are unlikely to be able to stop.

@Doe need some reassurance in the portfolio to sleep better 😂 No, just kidding. Yesterday a quick -7% in the portfolio .

Knowing me, I only hold the ETF for exactly 1 week because nothing moves 😂

Just take a look at the sector performance YTD, then you can estimate exactly how good (or not) the idea is.......🤔

@Cato_Bamboo To what extent can one draw conclusions about the future from the sector performance YTD?
