Exciting Stocks from Europe

From a technical standpoint, I'm currently bullish on the following European stocks and/or those that I expect are slowly emerging from their slump: $ALFEN (-2,44%)
$ENVI (+0,84%) (a nice double bottom in the making) and $LXS (+17,39%)

I’ve recently bought into all of them, but of course this isn’t investment advice.

Thanks for being so transparent. Are you in it for the long haul with Alfen, and would you still get in at this point? Up 5% today :/

@market_mastermind_3655 Take a look at the long-term chart. The last breakout—which is currently correcting—went up to €20; I expect it to at least reach that level again. Of course, not the day after tomorrow. Overall, though, I see these as swing trades—that is, medium-term trades.

@jkb92 Thanks for your reply. I'm looking for more long-term investments with good entry potential right now. I have quite a bit of cash :)

Thanks :) Cool ideas. I sold Envipco again last week after the rally. I hit the second bottom almost perfectly. But I sold too early. Still, earnings should be coming out soon. From a technical analysis perspective, what do you think of $AII and, above all, $AAD?
••

@Sebbster Yes, that's why I started with a smaller position in $ENVI for now. I'll add to it if the bottom is confirmed. $AII might be attractive in the short to medium term; for a long-term entry, it would need to correct further, toward $6. $AAD looks like it's stabilizing based on the RSI.

@jkb92 Which stocks do you currently find attractive for the long term? Thanks

@jkb92 Thank you.

@market_mastermind_3655 Since I don't have any income right now (I'm working on another master's degree), I'm currently focusing more on swing trades. But generally speaking, some software stocks—such as ServiceNow—are exciting from a long-term perspective and have actually rebounded nicely recently.

I’ve been waiting a long time for Envipco $ENVI to take off—unfortunately, a bit too long (-25–30%)—but I think it’s about to happen soon. The constant delays in rolling out the deposit systems were frustrating, but that’s over now. Orders from the UK, Poland, and Portugal are in. They’ve already done a lot of pre-production to be ready (which has had a negative impact on the numbers). But once the thousands of deposit machines have been delivered, service revenue will gradually start to flow in. Considering the extremely low baseline, there’s definitely a lot of potential here.

@PikaPika0105 Are you in this for the long term? Do you think the current price is very good? And my second question—since you know a lot about Japan: Is Daikin a good investment right now? THANKS
••
imagem de perfil
@market_mastermind_3655 I'm invested for the mid- to long-term. I won't sell until I've made 5-10x my investment, and I think I'll reach that—if not more. I think it will still take until the early 2030s. Daikin isn't bad, but I don't see what all the hype is about. There are much better stocks in Japan.
••
@PikaPika0105 Which Japanese dividend-paying stocks do you think are the best to buy right now? Is Daikin not worth considering right now because there's no hype around it?
••
imagem de perfil
@market_mastermind_3655 How much is the dividend? No, all this hype around Daikin is overblown; I just find it amazing that so many people always bring up Daikin when it comes to Japanese stocks. So where does all this attention come from? Because, to me, it’s just an ordinary—albeit successful—manufacturing company. They’ve done a good job tapping into new markets, but there are probably better stocks out there. So what’s the dividend range?
••
@PikaPika0105 I don't mean high-growth stocks—just stocks that pay dividends similar to Daikin's, or that have good dividend growth; they don't have to pay out an enormous amount. THANK YOU

@PikaPika0105 Awesome list—thanks! What are your top 3 picks for getting started with "Quality Growth" and "Quality"? I think Kawasaki Heavy Industries is awesome... so which ones do you find most attractive for a beginner? I'd like to take a closer look at those.

Man, this is tough. I own Fujifilm myself because it still has a lot of potential. I also think Kawasaki is great—defense, hydrogen, and robotics are very promising. Sony is also a good choice, with a growing focus on entertainment, but it’s still an all-around player that’s strong in image sensors and has interesting side projects. Mitsubishi Heavy is strong in defense, energy, and aerospace. But I could say something positive about almost all of them right now.

I think it’s a pretty good time to get in almost anywhere right now—many stocks have fallen quite a bit from their all-time highs. The exception for me would be the trading houses, since—with the exception of Sojitz—they’ve become very expensive. That’s probably the Buffett effect. The banks are also relatively expensive and have performed strongly recently. I didn’t even mention many semiconductor stocks due to their valuations, except for Shin-Etsu—and even they aren’t that cheap. But otherwise, I think you can find a good entry point with all of them.

@PikaPika0105 Favorites: Medley, PKSHA, Fujifilm, Kawasaki Heavy, Hamamatsu, Sony, Maruwa, Nintendo, Sojitz (needs a closer look due to rare earths), NEC
••
@PikaPika0105 OK, I think Maruwa would be the most interesting option for me—they've come back with really good reviews. What do you think—should we go for it or wait?
