What else has been going on?

As is often the case in December, there are those who rush from one Christmas party to the next, are constantly busy with appointments, and can’t find a moment’s peace even at Christmas.

Then there are those who take it very easy in December, enjoy relaxed evenings watching TV, make the most of the nice weather during the day (if possible), and at least try to keep things fairly low-key on Christmas. I’m one of the latter—and only on Christmas do I join the former. Accordingly, my December was pretty quiet, except for the Christmas rush, when you’re rushing from one meal to the next and from one relative to the next. With various birthdays around Christmas and between Christmas and New Year’s, things stay stressful. Fortunately, for the past few years, I’ve set aside the day after Christmas for my wife and me. We don’t visit anyone then, and we don’t want anyone over either. We just spend the whole day doing whatever we feel like doing. Other than that, we had a quiet New Year’s Eve, and that was it for 2025.

🥅 Goals for 2025:

Deposit of €10,000, bringing the total value of my stock portfolio to ~€73,000

Goal achievement as of the end of December 2025: 91.56%

So I actually didn’t quite reach my goal, although I was able to reach the targeted total investment (including the bond portfolio & Oskar) of €20,000.

Overall, I’m quite satisfied with the year. In the year-end review, as mentioned above, I’ll go into more detail about the dividends and the overall performance.

@SAUgut777 Thank you, you too.
Thanks for the words too. You're right. 2025 was ok. I'm also quite satisfied. It will be exciting when I write the annual review. Then you realize for yourself what has happened.

@DividendenWaschbaer if you compare 2025 with the previous years, you can see what you have achieved and accomplished over the last few years 😉

I felt the same way when I looked in the mirror, even though I'm still relatively new...

You can be satisfied. Do you remember 3 years ago or was it longer? You've moved a lot in that time
