🌙 The awakening script of the DividendWeiser A depot is purified. A path is revealed. A wise man rises.

Hey everyone,

Over the past few cycles, I have wandered the infinite halls of the markets like a young adept. I tried out spells, played with risky formulas, let myself be seduced by flickering course lights - and paid the price that every apprentice pays at some point. But every spark of loss became a sliver of knowledge.

One night, when the markets were asleep and only the stars were watching over my portfolio, I recognized a truth that floated before me like a golden crystal:

All of my individual stocks had long been in the big FTSE All World ETF
$VWRL (+0,48%) hidden like tiny sparks in a huge starry nebula.

And so the purge began.

I dissolved old positions, untangled the chaos and a new core formed from the fog:

FTSE All World ETF
$VWRL (+0,48%) and Realty Income
$O (-1,18%) the eternal fountain of dividends.

My goal is as clear as a glowing rune:

A steadily growing stream of passive income - a river of golden drops that never runs dry.

That's why I now invest on a weekly basis:

💫 25 € in Realty Income
$O (-1,18%)

💫 5 € in the FTSE All World ETF $VWRL (+0,48%)

If the dividends from Realty Income $O (-1,18%) pulsate strongly enough together with the interest from Trade Republic, I increase the FTSE savings plan $VWRL (+0,48%) to 25 € per week.

Then, when the balance of the regions calls, another crystal enters the circle:

the iShares MSCI Europe ETF $IMEU (+0,96%) (distributing) - with hopefully also 25 € per week.

That would complete the brokerage chapter.

The runes are set.

The circle closed.

Then I turn to my dormant Bitcoin savings plan $BTC (+1,59%) - my only crypto crystal waiting in the shadows - and the interest artifacts working their own silent magic.

How the journey continues remains to be seen.

A dividend sage does not follow the noise of the markets, but the whisper of the stars.

Many wise words for a moderately wise concept.

Dividends are for pensioners, everyone else needs growth.

Or in sage-speak:
A tree must grow before you can harvest its fruit.

@Epi That's why he has the $VWRL and I'm a pensioner too, but I'm gradually switching to the $VHYL.
Strangely enough, the High Dividend has been doing better for a year now. 🤔

@Thomas_1963 I can tell you why the VHYL is doing better than the VWRL: Currency effects. The VHYL is much less invested in USD, so the currency losses are significantly lower.

@Epi you have forgotten the 3x GTAA tree
imagem de perfil
@KAMEHOUSE7 I'm not forgetting him!
3xGTAA is just the complete opposite of a dividend strategy. If you stay with the image of the tree, you could say that 3xGTAA is not a fruit tree that grows slowly in order to bear fruit later. It's more like a redwood tree on growth fertilizer. 😅

@Epi or the tree that stands in the Garden of Eden.
imagem de perfil
@KAMEHOUSE7 You mean the tree whose fruit gives either knowledge or immortality?
3xGTAA is cool, but not that cool. 😅

@KAMEHOUSE7 Exakt! 👍

@Thomas_1963 How is the $VHYL better than the $TDIV? If the price gains of the TDIV are realized, they are surely more than the dividends that the VHYL can bring or not?

@Simon_n Of course I also have $TDIV. My best ETF. I may still adjust the weighting.

Double double. Realty is included in the index.

@Gehebeltes-EFH I didn't know that, so thanks for the information. I've just had a look at the composition. At around 0.03%, Reality Income is so low on average in the index, in contrast to my previous individual stocks, that you could keep it, or how do you see it? Reality Income also offers a monthly dividend, unlike the other stocks, which have a much higher weighting.
@DividendenWeiser If this is important to you, then do exactly the same.
I think you have to change broker 151 euros in transaction costs.
