Bitcoin & Ethereum or co?

Hello everyone,

I would like to hear your opinions. Of course there's a lot on the Internet, but I would be more than happy to have an exchange here in the community.

What are your current thoughts on the chewing of $BTC (+0,16%) or perhaps $ETH (-0,14%) .

The price has halved in the last few months.

What do you think about the other coins like $SOL (-0,58%) , $ADA (-1,31%) or also $XRP (+0,66%)

Looking forward to your opinions.

Above all, Solana, Eth and Xrp are anything but dirty or why do you think banks and the big names of this world are betting on the technology and researching/working on it. Just look at my Eth partnerships in the deep dive

@Investingyoung who controls the supply of the coins? It may be that the chains make sense for use cases, but the underlying cryptos have zero to do with an investment in my view.

@Investingyoung What percentage of the coins' supply is in the foundations?

The problem with Proof of Stake is... the bigger your stake, the greater your influence in and therefore on the network.

From my deep dive:
- Around 34-36 million ETH are tied up in staking in 2025, which roughly corresponds to just under 30 % of the circulating
supply.
- 40% of the supply is tied up in smart contracts (DeFi, layer 2, restaking, etc.).

The eth foundation has about 1% of the supply of eth according to my research

For me, BTC is the measure of all things. It may be that one of the other coins is also doing well because of stablecoins etc., but I'm not relying on that. There are certainly other opinions on this.

Btc is obligatory, but let's say with the top 10-15 altcoins from mcap you don't do much wrong either, you just have to deal with the technology behind it and be convinced without end otherwise you won't survive alts.
