August marked the end of the most successful month for my total net worth since I started tracking it in 2018—all in all, a gain of over +12%! 😊. To be fair, the last few months have been turbulent, which is why I still haven’t reached a new ATH overall, but I’m happy about it anyway! 👍🏼

Portfolio overview:

👉🏻 August:

Starting value: 1,270,244 euros + 16.65 cash

End: 1,477,964 euros + 70 cash

Deposit: 1,300 euros

Profit: +206,473.35 euros (+16.25%)

It comes as no surprise that the positive performance is attributable to the very strong performance of the gold and silver stocks in my portfolio. Easing concerns about potential interest rate hikes in the U.S. led to a small rally in gold, silver, and mining stocks... at least until last Friday. Although Warsh threw a wrench in the works with his speech, I remain fundamentally optimistic. The overall situation has not changed... Therefore, I am sticking with my investments $KNT (+0 %) (K92 Mining), $EQX (+2,61 %) (Equinox Gold), and $SCZ (+7,6 %) (Santacruz Silver Mining). 👍🏼

Other than that, not much has happened with individual stocks. Only $PYPL (+1,19 %) (PayPal) has once again been making headlines. By now, everyone has surely heard that Stripe’s takeover bid is now definitively off the table. Of course, that didn’t do the stock any favors, but personally, I believe that was the better decision for (us) shareholders in the long run. Especially after the strong quarterly results we saw recently, the offer really was a joke. We’ll see how things play out, but I’m optimistic here as well! 😊

Otherwise, I’ve decided to restructure my asset allocation and my portfolio for the medium term. The reason is that I want to get things in shape for a potential “Barista-FIRE” over the next 5 years. Right now, about 1/5 of my assets are invested in fixed-term deposits, which, in the end, is far too much for me and doesn’t perform well enough.

My goal for the future:

👉🏻 Call money: 50,000 euros

👉🏻 Brokerage account: The rest

In the future, three-quarters of the portfolio should consist of the $VWRL (+0,81 %) (FTSE All-World) and one-quarter in individual stocks. Currently, that would mean about 1.5 million euros in the ETF and 400,000 euros in individual stocks. This way, I’m not completely giving up the fun of investing in individual stocks, while also adding stability to my portfolio. Of course, this isn’t a restructuring that will happen overnight, but I’ll be working on it over the next 2–3 years. I’ll definitely keep you updated here on how things are going! 🚧

➡️🆓: On my path toward 4 million in total assets, I’m now 46.9% of the way there.

Well, let’s see what September has in store for us tomorrow!

Here’s to successful stock market trades! 😊

Another month on the stock market is coming to an end. And it has actually been a somewhat quieter month again (that's allowed 😉). Of course, there were brief ups and downs again this month due to Trump and Iran, but at least there is a small plus under the line!

The portfolio in May at a glance:

👉🏻 May:

Start: 1,373,005 euros + 56.20 cash

End: 1,398,020 euros + 72.39 cash

Deposit: 3,000 euros

Profit: +22,031 Euro (+1.60%)

In terms of news and trading, this month has been rather boring. Apart from some minor profit-taking and increases, nothing has really happened that would significantly influence the composition.

I did my usual trading and bought and sold smaller positions across the portfolio. This month the focus was on $ZAL (+4,12 %) (Zalando), $TUI1 (+1,2 %) (TUI), $1810 (+10,02 %) (Xiaomi) and $PDD (+4,16 %) (PDD Holding). In addition, I took advantage of temporary price weakness to increase my position in $SCZ (+7,6 %) (Santacruz Silvermining) a little.

With regard to one of my largest positions $EQX (+2,61 %) (Equinox Gold), there was some news after all. Equinox wants to or will take over Orla Mining ($OLA ) to take over Orla Mining. This will make the new company the second largest gold producer. As of today, the share price has not yet benefited that much. But with the last merger with Calibre Mining, it took a while for the market to recognize the potential! 😉

https://www.reuters.com/legal/transactional/equinox-gold-acquire-orla-mining-create-185-billion-gold-producer-2026-05-13/

I am curious to see how the coming month will develop and whether we will finally come to a conclusion in Iran. In any case, June will be the most profitable month in terms of dividends - the bottom line should be a good EUR 16,000. Definitely a small highlight! 😊

➡️🆓: On my way towards 4 million total assets, the target achievement rate is now 44.85%.

Here's to good stock market trading! 😊

To cut a long story short ... after this month, the path to financial freedom has come a little further. In fact, this month was the worst month of my stock market career so far, both in absolute and relative terms. Not nice, but it happens. The reasons for this are the Iran war and the associated turbulence on the commodities market (especially gold and silver), where the lion's share of my investments are held.

But let's take a look at the figures!

👉🏻 March:

Start: 1,559,460 euros + 300 cash

End: 1,330,246 euros + 9,843 cash

Deposit: 16,250 euros

Profit: - 235.921 Euro (-14.4%)

These are of course unpleasant figures, but on the plus side: 90% of the decline is due to the price losses of my two largest positions (K92 Mining and New Equinox). In the course of the 15% fall in the gold price, both stocks lost a good 30% each and this had a particularly negative impact due to their high weighting.

At its peak, my portfolio even lost almost 500,000 euros within a few days/weeks. That makes you a bit nervous. Fortunately, however, it has already recovered significantly from the lows and is also up YTD. So all is well... 👍🏼

I remain optimistic in the medium term. With the Iran war, geopolitical uncertainties have increased further and inflationary pressure will rise. Even if interest rates are raised, I am sure that real interest rates will continue to fall, which will tend to be good for gold. But let's see... If history repeats itself from the mid-70s, we are in for golden times 😉

Otherwise, I naturally took the opportunity to increase my positions in $KNT (+0 %)
$EQX (+2,61 %) and $SCZ (+7,6 %) expand my positions. At the same time, turbulent market times naturally also offer opportunities to take profits. I have liquidated my entire position at $OXY (+0,2 %) was liquidated. The past dividends have resulted in a nice profit there (thanks to the rise in oil prices). Otherwise, smaller profits were taken (e.g. $TUI1 (+1,2 %) etc.), but these were not really worth mentioning...

As things stand now, we have just under 16,000 euros in realized capital gains and 2,000 euros in dividends received. You can build on that... I am now waiting patiently for the recovery! 👍🏼

➡️🆓: On my way towards 4 million total assets, the target achievement rate is now 43.7%.

Here's to good stock market trading and Happy Easter to you all! 😊

PS: Since I'm a little late, the current portfolio value does not match the one from March 31 (it has recovered a bit since then - fortunately)

In terms of my portfolio performance/volatility, the last few weeks have probably been the craziest weeks since I started investing. Within a week, my portfolio lost over 100,000 euros in value during the precious metals crash only to gain back over 200,000 euros in value in the subsequent recovery by the end of February.

As a result, I reached a new milestone at the end of February. For the first time, the portfolio value exceeded the EUR 1.5 million mark. 😊

👉🏻 February:

Start: 1,368,240 euros + 100 cash

End: 1,559,4604 euros + 300 cash

Deposit: 5,400 euros

Profit: +186,020 euros (+13.59%)

The increase in value is mainly due to the good performance of my gold portfolio stocks (K92 Mining $KNT (+0 %) and Equinox Gold $EQX (+2,61 %) ). In the meantime, the gold price has slowly risen again and this is of course also reflected in the share prices. The two companies together now account for over 50% of my portfolio... This is actually an unreasonable ratio, but I am still convinced that there is still a lot of potential here. Both companies are in a great operational position, are debt-free and have even announced small dividend payments as a reward. 👍🏼

Otherwise, I continued to sell and buy here and there in February. I took profits on Puma $PUM (+2,17 %) , Vonovia $VNA (-0,21 %) , Henkel $HEN3 (+0,13 %) , K+S $KSC , Target $TGT (-0,58 %) and Western Union $WU (-3,17 %) while I increased my position in SAP $SAP (+1,41 %) , PayPal $PYPL (+1,19 %) and Novo-Nordisk $NOVO B (+1,09 %) further expanded.

The Iran war will certainly cause some turbulence on the stock market in the coming days. Experience shows that precious metals will benefit in times of uncertainty, but the oil price is also likely to receive a significant tailwind. With my high exposure to gold and my position in Occidental Petroleum $OXY (+0,2 %) I believe I am well positioned, at least in the short term. 👍🏼

➡️🆓: On my way towards 4 million total assets, the target achievement level is now 49.8%.

Here's to good stock market trading and see you in a few days! 😊

First things first. I hope you all had a peaceful Christmas season and were able to spend a few lovely days with family and friends! 😊

Even though December isn't quite over yet, I'd like to give you a quick update on the past month before the new year and take a brief look at the performance since I started at getquin in September.

👉🏻 December:

Start: 1,253,497 euros + 19,000 cash

End: 1,336,908 euros + 400 cash

Deposit: 3,000 euros

Profit: +61,811 euros (+4.86%)

As in previous months, the portfolio benefited from the continued strength of gold in December. The overweight in K92 Mining ($KNT (+0 %)), Equinox Gold ($EQX (+2,61 %) ), B2Gold ($BTO (+3,12 %) ) and, more recently, Euro Sun Mining ($ESM (+0 %) ) has contributed significantly to the good performance. My sale of SantaCruz Silver ($SCZ) (+7,6 %) in November, on the other hand, unfortunately proved to be an expensive mistake. I lost 50% of my profit, but as you know, you're always smarter afterwards and who could have guessed that silver would go through the roof like this.

Otherwise, not much has changed in my portfolio. I have now fully reinvested the 19,000 euros in cash. Among other things, I have taken an initial position in Vonovia ($VNA (-0,21 %) ) and Zalando ($ZAL (+4,12 %) ). I have also added some Ubisoft ($UBI (+0,88 %) ) and Fuchs Petrolub ($FPE (+0,46 %) ). I only took profits on Puma ($PUM (+2,17 %) ) and significantly reduced my position here when the share price was driven up again by takeover rumors.

As already mentioned, an extremely successful stock market year 2025 comes to an end tomorrow. The performance alone since I started with getquin in September has left me surprised. I wish every year was like this, but ... well. It will probably remain a pipe dream, but I'm all the happier for it! 😊

👉🏻 September - December:

Start: 1,022,339 euros

End: 1,336,908 euros + 400 cash

Return (adjusted): +235,305 euros (+21.39%)

A large part of the performance is of course due to (mainly unrealized) price gains, especially in my two largest positions (K92 Mining and Equinox), which now have a very high impact on the overall performance due to their size. However, other trades have also played their part. For 2025 as a whole, I expect to generate around EUR 115,000 in realized capital gains. Of this, around EUR 20,000 is attributable to dividends received, EUR 20,000 to trading profits with K92 Mining and other various gold/silver mines and around EUR 75,000 to the remaining shares (e.g. Alibaba, Xiaomi, Volkswagen, Porsche, 1&1, Ceconomy, etc.), to name just a few.

I am aware that the main ingredient for such a performance is luck (or inside information). Since I don't have the latter, let's agree on luck... 😉

For this reason, I am setting my targets for 2026 correspondingly lower. My main goal is always to receive around 5% of my assets in the form of investment income. Based on today's values, this would mean a range of 70,000 - 90,000 euros. I no longer set myself a target for my total assets. Although my salary can be planned, it is of secondary importance in the overall picture and, as we all know, you can't plan for price gains on the stock market... 👍🏼

➡️🆓: On my way towards 4 million total assets, the target achievement rate is now 44%. 😊

So, enough chatter. I wish you all a happy new year, happiness, satisfaction, health and, of course, success on the stock market in 2026! 🍀

Enjoy the quiet time! I'm off for 3 weeks in the sun and then I'll see you again at the end of January!

See you in a few days! 😊

Hello my dears,

The statement from COPILOT was.

" Stock up on raw materials "

So today I took a deep dive into the world of mines and commodities.

Anyone who knows me knows that as a long-term investor I tend to look at quality and longevity.

That's why I looked at the shares according to three different criteria

• Long-term historical performance
• Forward P/E ratio
• Earnings growth 2027 (I think investors will be interested in this next year)

I have marked these points YELLOW to find favorites.

I am still in the discovery phase for copper.

My dears,

What do you think of my selection process and my favorites? And what are your favorites in this sector?

@Multibagger
@Dividendenopi

(P.S. since it is very difficult to present the figures here at getquin in a reasonable way, I have done this for you today in a Word Doc. Hope you can read it well)

FAVORITES:

• Gold

Eldorado Gold $ELD (+2,31 %) Low P/E ratio with high earnings growth

• Equinox Gold $EQX (+2,61 %)

• Equinox Silver

Endeavour Silver $EDR (+1,72 %) Low P/E ratio and high earnings growth

• Various commodities

K92 Mining $KNT (+0 %) Low P/E ratio, growth, good in quality and growth check

November was once again a classic "rollercoaster month" - with a fortunately positive outcome. We started with a portfolio performance of -3% and then rose to +5% in the middle, then fell again to -2% and closed the month with around +8%! For the portfolio, this means that we have reached a new all-time high! 👍🏼

Start: 1,148,200 euros

End: 1,253,497 euros + 19,000 cash

Deposit: 30,000 euros

Profit: +94,297 euros (+8.2%)

Once again this month (as in October), my two gold positions were mainly responsible for the volatility, as they now account for 44% of my portfolio - but hey, I'm still convinced that there's a lot of potential in these stocks. So the rollercoaster will continue... 🎢

One of my less heavily weighted mining stocks, $SCZ (+7,6 %) SantaCruz Silver Mining, I sold completely on Friday after disappointing quarterly figures. Although the share is being driven by the strong silver price, this can quickly go in the other direction if the support falls away. The bottom line was a gain of +12% after only 6 weeks. We can be satisfied with that. I only have a total of 4 mines left in my portfolio: $KNT (+0 %)
$EQX (+2,61 %)
$BTO (+3,12 %) and $ESM (+0 %) .

Otherwise, I used the month to buy stocks that had fallen out of favor but that I am still convinced of. These include $PYPL (+1,19 %)
$NOVO B (+1,09 %)
$1810 (+10,02 %) (Xiaomi) $GLJ (+1,79 %) (Grenke), $LXS (+0,44 %) and $EVK (+1,14 %) have been. Novo-Nordirsk in particular presented a great opportunity a few days ago when the share price briefly plummeted by 10% without justification. 📉

At the same time, I was also able to realize a few profits. I took the opportunity to sell some of my Puma shares after the takeover rumors and at the beginning of the month I also sold Lufthansa, BHP Billiton and a small amount of Western Union (which has already been bought back at a lower price). 📈

I currently hold 19,000 euros in cash again and am waiting for the next opportunities! 💵

➡️🆓: On my way towards 4 million total assets, the target achievement rate is now 42.3%. 😊

Let's see how November turns out. As always, it remains exciting!

It's no secret that I'm a fan of gold and gold mines. That's why I want to take this opportunity to introduce you to my second largest position after K92 Mining. $EQX (+2,61 %) after K92 Mining.

I myself have been in it for several years... An eventful journey. It all started with Fiore Gold, which was then taken over by Calibre Mining. Calibre itself then took over Marathon and now - through a merger with Equinox - we are called Equinox Gold. But let's move on to the company:

👉🏻 General introduction:

Equinox Gold is a Canadian gold producer with projects in Canada, the USA and Latin America. In recent years, the company has evolved from a pure developer to a serious producer - with a clear goal:

Equinox is to develop into a mid-tier mid-tier 1 producer with over 1 million ounces of annual production in the coming years.

With the Greenstone mine in Ontario (Canada) and the new Valentine mine in Newfoundland, two major projects are in the starting blocks - and this is now reflected for the first time in last week's Q3 figures!

👉🏻 Strong operational momentum: 📈

Equinox reported record figures in the recently published Q3 2025:

• 236,000 ounces of gold production - the best quarter in the company's history!
• Revenue of over USD 540 million, with a gross margin of over 35
• Cash costs (TCC): around USD 1,450/ounce, AISC at around USD 1,850 - falling trend
• Annual guidance 2025: 785,000 - 915,000 ounces of gold production

After some stumbling blocks in the past quarters with regard to the ramp-up of Greenstone and the completion of Valentine, the following is now particularly important: the Greenstone mine has started commercial production and is running better than planned and the Valentine mine in Canada is now also in the ramp-up phase - meaning: further increasing production with falling unit costs from 2026.

In addition to the ramp-up of Valentine and Greenstone, the top priority is debt reduction. For this reason, the rather unimportant Nevada assets (formerly Fiore Gold) have now also been sold off. At current gold prices, Equinox is generating a cash flow of around 200 million dollars per quarter and can therefore theoretically be completely debt-free in 6-8 quarters! In other words, the first dividend or a share buyback could be announced from the middle/end of next year!

👉🏻 Valuation & my conclusion:

Currently, the market capitalization is around USD 5 bn, the forward P/E ratio is 10-12, depending on the estimate - more than attractive for a producer of this size with this growth potential.

For me, there are several catalysts for significantly higher prices in the future:

✅ Full production run Greenstone & Valentine from 2026

✅ Falling costs → rising margins

✅ Potentially still high gold price, possibly even rising further

✅ Possible dividend or share buybacks from 2026

✅ Further exploration news flow from Canada & Brazil and possibly Mexico (Los Filos Mine)

As far as Equinox Gold's share price is concerned, I continue to see significant potential. Over the next 2-3 years, I can well imagine another +200%, especially if gold prices remain at +4,000 dollars. On the other hand, should Equinox even find a solution for Los Filos (where it is at cross purposes with one of 3 villages, which is why activities there have been paused), this would significantly increase the potential once again.

In my opinion, K92 Mining and Equinox Gold are a must for anyone who invests in mines. In any case, I remain invested. The journey is not over yet 😉

$DE000EWG0LD1 (+2,24 %)

October marks the end of one of the most turbulent months for my portfolio. My portfolio reached a new ATH and I had the highest absolute daily gain (approx. 50,000 euros) and the highest daily loss (also approx. 50,000 euros) within a few days.

Start: 1,116,452 euros

End: 1,152,698 euros

Deposit: 26,034 euros

Profit: + 10,212 euros (+0.89%)

Anyone who has ever looked at my portfolio will know that I am significantly overweight in gold, or more precisely in gold mines. This quickly explains the reason for the volatility. 🎢

In the shadow of the gold price, mines have of course also risen disproportionately. With the slump in the gold price by 10% in places in just a few days, the good performance of the mines also came to an end. Some of the junior mines recorded price falls of over 50% in just one week (fortunately not mine).

While gold $4GLD (+1,62 %) still rose by +3.8% in October, the October performance of K92 Mining (my largest position) was $KNT (+0 %) (my largest position) was +5.5% and Equinox Gold $EQX (+2,61 %) was +0.8%. I assume that gold will continue to perform well, as none of the problems (geopolitical tensions, inflation, etc.) have been solved. For this reason, I have also taken another small position $SCZ (+7,6 %) (SantaCruz Silver Mining) in the portfolio. The crash offered a very good opportunity! 📈

Novo-Nordirsk performed less well this month $NOVO B (+1,09 %) with -15% and PayPal $PYPL (+1,19 %) with +3.9%. PayPal is particularly disappointing here, as the quarterly figures were excellent. This sent the share price up almost 18% intraday. Unfortunately, it was subsequently sold off completely. But this confirms my belief that you just have to be patient with PayPal. The day of truth for Novo-Nordirsk will come next week... 📉

Otherwise, I received around 700 euros in dividends this month and realized around 3,000 euros in gains on Mercedes and Alibaba, among others. 💵

➡️🆓: On my way towards 4 million total assets, the target achievement rate is now 39.9%. 😊

Let's see how November turns out. As always, it remains exciting!

Within the last 3 weeks, my portfolio has increased by 13%. In absolute terms, by 140,000 euros. This increase is still completely surreal for me.

What has happened?

Nothing in my portfolio. I still hold the same shares. But the exceptionally good performance of gold is more than just a tailwind for my mining stocks.

Specifically, I hold almost 50% of my portfolio value in two stocks:

👉🏼 K92 Mining

👉🏼 New Equinox

That's not exactly diversification. But nothing ventured, nothing gained... and as someone once said: "Diversification is for someone who doesn't know what he is doing" 😉

$KNT (+0 %)
$EQX (+2,61 %)
