In court, aircraft manufacturer Airbus $AIR (-0,74 %) won an interim victory in its court battle with its major customer Qatar Airways. The British court on Tuesday allowed the manufacturer to cancel the order for 50 A321neo medium-haul jets. The aircraft ordered by Qatar Airways from Airbus may thus be sold to other customers. The state-owned airline of the Arab Emirates Qatar must now obtain the aircraft elsewhere. The dispute came as a result of possible defects in the A350 outer skin and led to a public dispute between Qatar Airways and Airbus.

Financial sector professionals are preparing to return to Hong Kong and other offshore centers. This is because of the tough COVID-19 lockdown in Shanghai, which is affecting their business prospects and turning their daily lives upside down. Thousands of bankers, traders and investors in the financial center of the world's second-largest economy are affected by the lockdown, as they are trapped in their homes and have difficulty obtaining food and other essentials for their families. This exodus could adversely affect financial firms that had planned to expand their Shanghai offices.

Musk wants to buy Twitter $TWTR to go private at a price of about $54 per share. This is part of his attempt to improve the social medium's stance on free speech, with the process likely to take six months.
