PETAH TIKVA, Israel - Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd (NASDAQ:GILT, TASE:GILT), a $450 million market capitalization company whose share price has risen nearly 75% in the past year, announced on Tuesday that its Peruvian subsidiary has received orders worth about $60 million from Peru's national telecommunications program Pronatel. According to data from InvestingPro, the company is showing strong momentum, trading near its 52-week high of $8.17.
The contracts are for the expansion of regional broadband infrastructure in the regions of Apurímac, Huancavelica and Ayacucho. According to the company's press release, the project will provide almost 800 public institutions, including schools, health centers and police stations in 280 towns, with high-speed internet at 200 Mbit/s.
The migration is scheduled to take place over the next 12 months and the services will be provided over a period of four years.
Arieh Rohrstock, Corporate Senior Vice President and President of Gilat Peru, said: "Thanks to our extensive experience in implementing complex connectivity projects throughout Peru, we are well qualified to carry out this critical migration in record time."
The aim of the infrastructure modernization is to improve digital access in rural communities by providing connectivity for education, healthcare and public services.
Gilat Satellite Networks, headquartered in Israel, provides satellite-based broadband communications in the commercial and military markets. The company has been in business for over 35 years, according to the announcement.
The project represents a continuation of the existing relationship between Gilat and the Peruvian government in the development of telecommunications infrastructure in remote areas of the country.
Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. recently announced several important developments. The company secured a $40 million contract for its SkyEdge IV platform, which is scheduled for delivery over the next 24 months. This platform is designed to drive the transformation of the satellite ground network and is aligned with future 5G NTN standards. In addition, Gilat's Commercial Division received a 27 million dollar order for its ESA terminal technology. Most deliveries are expected next year. The company also received orders worth over 22 million dollars from satellite operators worldwide, underlining its role in the in-flight connectivity market. In addition, Gilat DataPath, a subsidiary of Gilat, was awarded a support contract with the US Army worth over 7 million dollars. Potential extensions bring the total to 70 million dollars. These developments underscore Gilat's growing influence and capabilities in satellite network technology.
...I always have the Gilet advertisement in my head, but I think my legs are just as smooth.
Investing.com - Shares of Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd (NASDAQ: GILT ) rose 4.3% after the satellite network technology company announced that it has received orders worth more than $22 million from leading satellite operators worldwide.
The orders, scheduled for delivery over the next twelve months, are from multiple satellite operators and reflect Gilat's growing role in providing advanced connectivity across multiple satellite constellations, including GEO, MEO and LEO. In particular, the company has seen positive development in the fast-growing in-flight connectivity (IFC) market.
These new contracts underscore the industry's confidence in Gilat's product portfolio, which includes ground segment infrastructure, system management solutions and specialized offerings for mobility and broadband services. The company's technology is designed to meet the performance and scalability requirements of next-generation satellite networks.
"Our ongoing partnership with leading satellite operators underscores Gilat's critical role in the evolution of satellite connectivity," said Ron Levin, President of Gilat's Commercial Division. "These new contracts demonstrate confidence in our ability to support large-scale, high-performance deployments while strengthening our position as a key player in all orbital architectures."
Gilat continues to evolve its multi-orbit portfolio to meet the growing global demand for broadband, mobility and enterprise connectivity services. The company is positioning itself as a key technology provider that enables satellite operators to expand their service offerings in different market segments.
Unfortunately not a good entry price, perhaps it would be better to set a limit.

Gogo Inc (GOGO) is one of the leading providers of WLAN services for aviation and offers business aviation services in particular. The niche player is thus benefiting in particular in the business aviation segment, where demand for connectivity in aviation is growing. Expansion is also being accelerated. At the end of September, it was announced that an agreement had been reached to acquire Satcom Direct. According to the agreement, the purchase will cost USD 375 million in cash and five million Gogo shares. In addition, further payments of up to USD 225 million are possible, which are linked to the achievement of certain performance targets over the next four years. The transaction is expected to be immediately accretive to earnings and cash flow per share and is expected to generate annual cost synergies in the range of USD 25 to 30 million in the two years following closing.
On November 5, the Group's Q3 report was convincing. According to the report, turnover increased by 2.6% year-on-year to USD 100.50 million. Meanwhile, tax effects and the acquisition of Satcom Direct caused EPS to fall from USD 0.16 to USD 0.08. Nevertheless, the management was satisfied, as the basis for future growth was laid with the takeover. It is expected to accelerate Gogo Galileo's market penetration in the globally underserved business aviation market as well as in the military and government segments. Oakleigh Thorne, Chairman and CEO of Gogo, added: "The unprecedented demand for Galileo and Gogo 5G will drive strong growth in equipment sales in 2025 and an increase in profitable recurring service revenue from 2026." Meanwhile, the consensus for Q3 was only USD 97.3m in revenue and EPS was expected to be USD 0.05.
For the current financial year, the Group is still targeting revenue in the range of USD 400 million to USD 410 million, but adjusted EBITDA is now expected to reach USD 120 million to USD 130 million instead of the upper end of a range of USD 110 million to USD 125 million. This guidance reflects increased legal costs due to ongoing litigation and approximately USD 20 million in operating expenses for strategic and operational initiatives, including Gogo 5G and Gogo Galileo. The forecast range for free cash flow has also been raised. Instead of a range of USD 35 million to USD 55 million, a range of USD 55 million to USD 65 million is now being targeted. This includes USD 35 million in reimbursements from the FCC Reimbursement Program.

"Buy when the cannons are thundering"
Hello my dears,
As the second company from Israel, I would like to
a growth company from an up-and-coming sector.
A company that has not yet been so hyped, but is on the verge of breaking out.
That's why your opinion in the comments is once again very important to me.
Due to a major expansion, the company initially recorded a decline in profits this year. However, the acquisition of Blue Solutions has now been completed. This will bear its first fruits next year with an enormous increase in profits.
As a result, the P/E ratio will even fall into the single-digit range. And the P/E ratio also remains attractive.
Gilat Satellite, based in Israel and with a market capitalization of just USD 420 million, specializes in satellite-based broadband communication solutions. In addition, Gilat has made significant acquisitions in recent years to strengthen its defense offering, with a particular focus on the US Department of Defense.
On February 12, the company reported strong Q4 figures, with earnings per share of USD 0.15 and revenue of USD 78.1 million, with strong cash flow generation. In particular, the Defense and In-Flight Connectivity segments showed strong momentum. On February 18, Gilat announced the formation of a new Defense Division. This strategic move is aimed at serving the growing demand for SATCOM solutions for government and defense facilities in the US. At the end of January, a USD 4 million order for portable SATCOM terminals was received. US defense spending is to be redistributed more and the area of space surveillance is to be strengthened, which could benefit Gilat.

Group CEO Wildberger is pursuing the goal of becoming the first omnichannel platform that combines e-commerce and in-store retail. In doing so, he even wants to compete with Amazon ( $AMZ (-0.47%) ). Bayer shares recently rose 2.16 percent to €51.09. There will also be a change at the head of the Crop Science division. Rodrigo Santos will succeed Liam Condon, who terminated his contract early, as COO. In the third quarter, Bayer was able to increase sales for the entire group by almost 15 percent year-on-year to €9.8 billion. In total, the company made a profit of 85 million euros. The profit was depressed by the high costs of restructuring measures.

Gazprom ( $SCF ) - After several months of energy crisis and rising prices, the Russian gas company is once again supplying gas to Germany and Austria under pressure from Putin. The crypto-currency market's gold rush - Last night, the two leading crypto-currencies Bitcoin ( $BTC-EUR (-0.67%) ) and Ethereum ( $ETH-USD (+3.47%) ) were able to reach new all-time highs. Bitcoin was able to set the mark now at $68,642.00 with a daily increase of almost 5%. This brings its market capitalization to $1.28 trillion, with bitcoin managing to leave Tesla ( $TL0 (+2.24%) ) behind it. Ethereum followed Bitcoin and also hit a new all-time high of $4,857.25. Successes like these have been evident in the market in recent weeks. For example, Cardano ( $ADA-USD (+2.96%) ), Ethereum's competitor, gained 12 percent overnight, and Litecoin ( $LTC-EUR (+0.88%) ), which had long been treading water, rose 20.3 percent in one day. This very strong performance, which can be seen across all crypto-currencies, led to the total market capitalization of all crypto-currencies crossing the US$3 trillion mark for the first time.
