IREN 🤷‍♂️

Do you think we will see $IREN (-0.26%) bottom this year, or do you think the share needs a healthy cool-down first?

Personally, I'm considering building up cash until the end of Q4 because I'm expecting a small correction. But I'm not entirely sure.

I will still be buying this month:

$SOL (-8.27%) - 400€

$IREN (-0.26%) - 300€

$BTC (-5.24%) - 500€

No offense meant, but you'd better make sure you're not chasing every trend.

If you want to invest here in the longer term, does that matter? 😁If the market holds up and they have all their capacity available at the end of 2026, I expect a valuation of 200-240$.

Horizon 1: Completion and commissioning (4th quarter 2025)
2nd Horizon 1: Ready for GPU installation (December 2025)
3rd GPU delivery starts: March 2026
4th Horizon 2: Ready for GPU installation (approx. 1st or 2nd quarter 2026)
5th Horizon 1 & 2: GPU installation & acceptance (2nd quarter 2026)
6 Horizon 1 - 4: Fully commissioned (end of 2026)

If the Canadian GPUs achieve the USD 3.4 billion ARR forecast by management by the end of 2026, this results in a valuation of approx. USD 68 billion.

It’s a tremendous stock — really one of the best I’ve ever seen, believe me. And it’s going to grow much, much bigger. I just told my great friend — a truly incredible investment advisor — to buy it for me

@Wiktor_06 Do you realize he's taking the piss?!

@UliB Yes. But should I make a fool of him now? If he enjoys it, then so be it. I'm past the age where I get upset about people like that.

In my opinion, this is not really foreseeable in the current situation, but I will definitely buy more Irish this year if it lands below 39 again to lower my buy in. Otherwise just wait and see and drink tea

@risk_taker Thanks for your message. So below 37€ it would really be worth buying for me. But I'll wait until a bottom forms. Because I wouldn't want to reach into a falling knife

@Wiktor_06 Friday she was briefly under 36 😉

You won't reach your annual target anyway, so the odd euro or two won't matter, so keep on buying........

It will largely depend on the interest rate situation. There is currently a 47% probability that the Fed will raise interest rates again. Capital-intensive tech companies are very sensitive to interest rate decisions. Next week there will be quarterly figures from Nvidia. This is certainly another factor influencing the sector. In the short term, therefore, it depends more on the macroeconomic environment and less on the performance of the company itself.

Better put the money in your ETF. The hype stocks only bring negative returns anyway.

@Marty0292 hypeaktien, aha 😁 . To be able to make a well-founded statement about this, you should also have dealt with the company. Negative returns, you should know . Sorry, but that's just a slogan with no basis 😉

profile image
@BamBamInvest That's right, which is why every one of the hype stocks is in the red. I doubt that these business models will survive the next ten years.
1
profile image
@BamBamInvest Besides, I don't have to deal with the business model, after all, I don't want to buy the shares 😌
profile image
@Marty0292 every share I buy can be down immediately afterwards and with this "hype share" ($Iren), one or the other has probably outperformed you. You don't have to deal with it, but you still couldn't save yourself the stupid comment 😂 And without having looked at the company you can't judge that either. So if you have no idea, it's better to say nothing than to make such an unqualified statement. But you can go back to the future anyway ....
1
profile image
@Marty0292 That's why you'll never outperform the market, because you say you don't have to deal with it, but you think that these "business models" won't outperform the market for the next 10 years. How can you judge that without having looked at it? And yes, that's right, we will need fewer data centers in the future ... 🤣 There won't be any more in 10 years.
1
profile image
@BamBamInvest Yes, I don't think we need so many data centers being built right now. I don't know why you feel so personally attacked 😅 Just because you've been successful with it so far doesn't mean you should get in now. You can see from the post which stocks he's in the red with. That's right, I never claimed to be able to beat the market. I'd rather accept a return of 8-10% than none at all or the risk of a total loss.
profile image
@Marty0292 I'm just 19 and I'm happy to take the risk of making a total loss or possibly having a teenage banger in 20 years' time.

It's good that everyone can decide for themselves what to invest in.
If you're 40 years old, an 8% return would certainly be more comfortable for me.
But you invest for the long term, and just because you have a negative return for 1 year, then I can live with that ;)

@Wiktor_06 It's a good thing I'm not yet 40 😂 I don't really care what you put your money into. Just a piece of advice. But the fact that 99% of investors don't outperform the market and yet everyone here thinks they're the next Warren Buffett says it all.
profile image
@Marty0292 so much ignorance bundled together should not give advice and advice, if you really wanted to help, could also be given in another form and in a nicer way. It's ok if 8-10% is enough for you, but please don't comment on stocks or shares that you haven't looked at yourself, as explained above. That really doesn't add any value ✌️

It is still moving in a boc anyway, but I think it will break out to the downside.

Why are you so convinced of the company
profile image
@Cossi The increasing demand for computing capacity cannot be met by the large hyperscalers themselves. IREN can close the gaps here. Their vertical integration enables them to achieve high margins and good scalability at the same time. The deal with MS has dispelled any last doubts as to whether the transition to an AI cloud provider will succeed. The mining business is also delivering good figures.
If there are interest rate concerns or doubts about an AI bubble, IREN will also go down. So certainly a stock with high potential and high volatility.
