What are your "buy the dip" assets?

@femkelbn Why not choose $VWCE and take a massive amount of compound interest with you?
profile image
@Thesaurus Because I manually reinvest the distributions and thus still benefit from the compound interest effect.
profile image
@femkelbn Do you then buy new shares every quarter or do you increase the savings plan by the amount of the dividend received?
profile image
@Thesaurus As soon as I receive the distribution, I create a new non-scheduled savings plan with the next possible execution date and simply delete it again after execution. I do the same at the end of the month with the remaining amount that has not been used. Every cent that is left over is "banged" into the $VWRL as soon as it becomes available as an extra savings plan. The scheduled savings plans at the beginning of the month remain untouched and continue to run continuously.

In the event of a real crash, I would actually mainly buy $VWRL.
But that's a boring answer, so here are a few more stocks from my fair-value research list:
$NOW <700 USD
$RHM <1100 EUR
$FROG <35 USD

@BigMo Best man thanks for the input!

Why do you think there will be a crash in the next 2-3 years?
2

@MrSchnitzel I feel a shaking of the Force! There is no single reason, I think it's more a combination of different things: Trump, China Taiwan, Russia Nato, American national debt, interest rate cuts too fast, political polarization, AI bubble, real estate and banking risks due to overpricing and too big to fail etc.

@TheRealDarthVader What does a "major" crash mean to you? Like the 2008 financial crisis? Here I would simply let my savings plans run and possibly sell individual shares! Nothing more.

@TheRealDarthVader But everything could also go the other way, to the good side of power.
Trump is always ready for a surprise and nobody knows how the stock market will react.
profile image
@MrSchnitzel Yes, of course, that's why the savings plan is running, but there are a lot of uncertainties for me at the moment that can quickly have a major impact.

@BavarianLion Let's put it this way not like Corona and customs crash towards flash crash and V recovery but a few months or 1-2 years bear market. Drawdown is always difficult to estimate, but it could be at least 30% down for the indices.
profile image
@TheRealDarthVader Anyway! As you say "can".
If everything goes well after all, you'll miss out on the returns up to that point, i.e. the journey. Letting a savings plan run is always great.
Just wouldn't build up too much cash.
Have a nice evening Mr. Vader. :)

@MrSchnitzel It's actually been quite a long time since we had a real 1-2 year bear market. Well, I'm heavily invested in US tech, which would probably hit me hard, but I don't think AI is a bubble like dotcom, because the companies are really making massive money with AI 😎
2
profile image
@BavarianLion I see it the same way.
I'm also heavily invested in US tech stocks.
These are the best companies that make the most profit and will also have a lot of potential in the future in my opinion.
(Winners usually stay winners, they got there for a reason, good management etc.)

@MrSchnitzel Personally, I think the comparison with the dotcom bubble is flawed because many companies were simply hot air! If you look at the driving forces now (Meta, Alphabet, Amazon...), it's a completely different story!
2
profile image
@MrSchnitzel Thanks to you too. I currently have a lot of cash because of Bitcoin and profit-taking as soon as that is restructured, hopefully things will look even better💪but I'm just going in with a higher savings plan lump sum statistically better but I just have a feeling!

Definitely $ASML and maybe $NETFLIX and $AMAZON

$RACE and $RMS will correct by 50% in the future as sure as the Amen in the church, for me also long-term buy candidates 👌🏼
1
profile image
@DocM01 I agree, they practically always have a premium price except in a crash when everything falls. That's why you should go for it💪

Regardless of whether everything crashes, even then I am firmly convinced that there are no long-term runners, at some point there will be a major correction, then everyone will say that the good years are over.
See Meta 😆

That's why $V and $MA are interesting in the long term (after at least 50% downside😁)

@PikaPika0105 Do you think this share will beat the market in the long term?
profile image
@TheRealDarthVader Yes, definitely. I once wrote a longer article about them.

It all depends on the crash ... What changes fundamentally? What benefit should such posts bring...

@Jank86 It's called exchanging opinions in the community and basically because it simply interests me. What really has no use are comments like yours.
I already bought asml when it creashed recently but if there is a general crash imo nvidia, tsmc, asml are the play if you are looking for the big fishes, if you want ten baggers i like tempus and duolingo. I also like a lot the Mag 7 without tesla and apple, if they crash again I'm gonna buy with all I have

I save $BTC weekly with a variable amount, depending on the exchange rate. The more $BTC falls, the higher the savings amount.

Should there be another crash,
I buy $IWDA

Well, I could just show my whole watchlist/portfolio, since I'd like to buy more! But I won't make this comment too long so I will give you my top 10:
1. VWRL (always a good choice imo)
2. MSFT
3. GOOG
4. AMZN
5. COST
6. MA
7. BTC
8. SPGI
9. BKNG
10. VUSA

Kind regards,
Kenneth

$ADBE $DHR $TMO $RMS $BNTX $ASML

I got into novo and adobe too early when they were still going down. Believe in good Adobe figures and after Sartorius recovery signs (could also be there) and first good $TMO figures in a turnaround pharma/related

Depending on how big the dip is, I would switch to $QQQ3.

So I'll be happy if I record and internalize this week....
I'll just keep my savings plans running...
What will happen in the next 2-3 years is pure guesswork....
And even your crash will look different from what you're imagining now...

Regards

@Roots My savings plans are still running. But if there is a crash, it is still nice to have a plan if, for example, you always want to buy a great share that is on offer.

@TheRealDarthVader So I would have a few on my watch list! $VST $RTX $GS

@BavarianLion Thank you, I'll take a closer look!
