$QYLE (+0.37%) QYLE: Looking at the chart, it has been running pretty hot, which is actually unusual for it in terms of both chart and strategy. Theoretically (!) the curve should always approach 0% in the long term, the distributions come via the premiums and make up the performance.

Wouldn't that be a good indicator to sell the thing on Monday and get back in when the price moves back towards the middle? I now have 5% performance in my portfolio, excluding distributions. Or have I misunderstood something here?

High Yield Income Portfolio

Disclaimer: I know that this is not an optimal strategy (I also have a real portfolio). I also know that very few people are interested in this type of portfolio, so feel free to skip the post, you won't miss anything.

I started building this HY Income portfolio about three months ago.

The first position was $QYLE (+0.37%) and now I've gradually added more stocks.

$QYLE (+0.37%) is pretty much the classic when it comes to covered call ETFs and is in my opinion a must have for every portfolio of this type.

$ACRE (+2.11%) I have great confidence in the management of Ares and the company is one of the few MREITs that I trust with my money. ACRE's portfolio is currently being restructured to be more defensive.

$GAIN (-2.5%) Solid monthly dividend payer with some growth. The management seems pretty solid to me.

$OBDC (+0.43%) Since the company has changed its strategy a bit and is now investing more in equity to increase NAV, it is my favorite BDC.

$STHE (+0.21%) PIMCO specializes in high yield funds, in my opinion it is especially important in the high field area that you trust the management, which is why I chose this product.

$DIV (+0.62%) I like the portfolio of royalties and it offers further opportunities for diversification.

$JEGP (+0.79%) I really like the JP Morgan Covered Call ETF strategy, but will possibly exchange it for $JEPI as soon as it is tradable at TR.

$RITM (+2.33%) I like the vision of the CEO and the dividend is double covered.

$SEDY (-2.7%) was recommended to me by a friend.

QYLE is now being saved less, the focus is on the other stocks.

The time has come: JPMorgan launches JEPI and JEPQ in Europe

On October 29, 2014, JPM launched the two extremely popular US funds JEPI and JEPQ in Europe:

These are interesting alternatives to $QYLE (+0.37%) and $XYLP (+0.76%) in my opinion. Let's see how long it takes for the two funds to become tradable with the usual brokers.

In the meantime, the fund volume of the global variant has $JEGP (+0.79%) has continued to increase significantly. The fund has now raised more than USD 300 million, and the trend is still rising. There appears to be a great deal of interest in this monthly distributing income ETF with its underlying global low-volatility equity basket.

I went through with it. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. In any case, the monthly income pays my rent

JEPI and JEPQ soon for European investors?

Yesterday it came to my attention that JPMorgan is apparently preparing to launch the extremely popular US ETFs JEPI and JEPQ in Europe.

The UCITS versions of JEPI and JEPQ focus exclusively on US securities and could be used to actively manage a global equity portfolio. $JEGP (+0.79%)The JEPI and JEPQ complement the JPMorgan ETF, which actively manages a global equity portfolio and sells index call options.

JEGP has raised more than USD 250 million (AUM) in just a few months. I suspect JPM is happy with that so far.

In addition, these new funds could be an interesting alternative to the two Global X funds popular here in the community, which also rely on options strategies.
